Motel 6 Porterville, CA

I have seen Motel 6s are getting good reviews. We gave it a try, turned out it is still a motel except the price. 😂

It was super clean. Amazing staff.

I believe that there was a change of management. The hotel is a lot better then the last time I was there. It was more clean.

The room was never serviced on it's own. Room was dirty from leaves and dirt from shoes, asked for clean towels and room service the day before we left. WiFi was on and off.

That staff was very friendly I told the lady at the front desk that my smoke detector was beeping and she had the mantaince man at my room in 10 minutes

Staff is very kind and helpful. But area around is not safe. Lot of homeless people. Even inside their property in parking area, a guy asked me for cigarette, after I denied he knocked a room whose door was slightly opened, denial from there and he went to another person in parking.

Was nice only problem with room is that under the door there's a gap so cold air blowing in.

Horrible couldn’t even stay it had roaches all on the bed and floor. Smelled horrible checked out and went to another hotel

I always like motel 6 good price good room but not this one started before I even got in there's no street lights and they didn't have the motel 6 sign on the phone told me to stop to turn here and I did and it was not the entrance so I kind of smashed into the curb when I got inside I asked the kid for a first floor room and he said they were all sold out which was BS I looked around only about a quarter of the rooms were actually occupied he was happy to tell me that they were almost sold out I have a wound on my foot I really needed to be on the first floor he didn't care once he gave me the room he said out laughed up I was like excuse me what does that mean he said out left up. I said I don't live here son you do and then he said it faces the highway I'm like which way is the highway it's pitch blackness around this place and every direction I found it myself on the second floor after making four trips I was done for the night no fridge no microwave and here's the fun topper the shower only runs on hot or cold no mixture so I will avoid the porterville motel 6 in the future.
