What an unpleasant experience! I stayed at the Hilton before but these two nights were extraordinary unpleasant and not at all according to Hilton 5* standard. it absolutely did not fit to the high price of the rooms. 1.) The Hilton has at the moment a beer garden. If your room is facing this beer garden, forget any chance to sleep. the beer garden is open weekdays till midnight and the party music will make it impossible to sleep! Well done, Hilton management. 2.) In our booked DELUXE room (at higher costs) not a single TV channel worked. And slippers to go to the pool area were also not there. They told us that we have to ask for slippers. Sadly, they forget to tell us this. All in all, a horrible two night experience: party music till midnight, not a single TV channel working and walking barefoot through the hotel on the way to the spa. Sorry, never again! choose another place with better service (and it will be cheaper in top)!

The reception staff were nice and friendly but the room was ultra small without any reasonable view. We probably received the worst room in the hotel as it was completely not sound isolated and again ultra small.

The location is amazing right next to the train and city center, friendly staffs, but the room sound proofing is very poor. Not recommend for light sleepers. We can hear every words other guests talked on the walkway.

I chose this hotel as a surprise for my husband's 50th birthday. We never stay in 5* hotels and so this was a special ocassion. From the moment we arrived (almost midnight!) to when we left, the staff were friendly, engaging and helpful. Our flight home was cancelled by BA and they managed to fit us in for an extra night. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need, including fluffy gowns and slippers! We had a super king bed and it was extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and offered a variety of foods - cereals, fruits, cold cuts, hot buffet and a variety of tasty pastries. I would highly recommend this hotel! It is also perfectly situated near the main attractions of Prague.

This was our third visit to this wonderful hotel, which is situated in a great area. We found so many local cafes, bars, restaurants, markets, parks and shops in Zizkov and Vinohrady that, on this occasion, we rarely chose to travel into the city centre. However, if you do wish to visit the centre, or indeed anywhere in Prague, there is an abundance of first-rate travel options at your disposal. The hotel itself is exceptional,  with large rooms, which are  very clean and comfortable. There is also a fantastic breakfast buffet avaliable.  All amenities are provided to make your stay a home from home. Hotel Carlton is a hidden gem, and front office manager Blanka and all the members of staff with whom we were in contact (receptionists/breakfast/housekeeping) could not have been more professional, personable and helpful. We are looking forward to returning to Hotel Carlton next year. Taking everything into account (hotel, location, staff, atmosphere) we simply wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Prague.  Very highly recommended.

Super location. Walkable to most of the main tourist attraction. Lots of restaurants and cafe surrounding. Closed to tram and train station. Grocery also round the corner. The hotel is pretty old. Breakfast is standard, not as good as other hotel I stayed in Prague before. I got a room in building C, which quite long way to go and need to change lift to get to the room. Good point is super quiet room.

We stayed here 2 nights on our way to Croatia by car. The room was big and suitable for all 4 (2 adults and 2 daughters 16&19). We made a very late booking and also had a ferry delay but the staff made all the arrangements for a smooth late checkin and also the parking for the car. The hotel is centrally located with walking distance to the center. Would absolutely recommend the hotel, especially for the serviceminded staff.

Great location - 10 minute walk from the main railway station. Room was clean big and spacious. Breakfast there was a good variety, we went down at 07:30 each day apart from our final morning and there were only a few others presents and plenty of food. Staff were friendly and there was a luggage storage room. the rooms were lovely and warm. 20 walk to the main city centre. Plenty of shops nearby including two Lidi's and a burger joint. Only negatives no hook for the shower and on our last day we went down for breakfast at 09:30 and there were not tables and a queue for seats we left and returned and there wasn't much food left, we weren't too fussed as we were leaving and the previous days went earlier. Thank you for the lovely stay.

ok location, nearest tram stop about 5-6mins walk away. hotel clean and good. one problem is the key card deactivated itself repeatedly, and reception is not 24/7 so its very risky. had to get it reactivated many times and at one point even climb in the room cause we got locked out. but room was nice and clean. and spacious with 3 beds

Kieran and Shaun the sheep Sh(earer) were genial hosts and competent drivers. The coach was comfortable which was just as well as 5.30 am get ups were commonplace. It is advisable to opt in to optional excursions as it would be nigh impossible to see as much on your own in a day. The Vienna Supreme Concert was excellent. The food was generally poor. The IBIS Prague had Pork medallions for their hot meal 2 days running and no choice. The Vienna hotel had soup without bread and a small amount of ice cream 2 days running for desert no choice. Coming home was a nightmare, we were stuck at Folkestone Interchange for well over 3 hours because one of Leger coaches failed to catch the ferry. This meant we arrived home early morning with the additional expense of a taxi. Everywhere took payment by credit card and/or the Euro. Nearly all comfort and lunch stops in Europe charge to use the toilets. The drivers will change Euro notes for coins. Glad we went but wouldn't recommend. It's all a bit hectic. Early to rise means early to bed. Felt like we needed a holiday on return!

Our stay at Adeba was amazing. Reading the previous reviews I was scared to enter the room. But it was a pleasant surprise. The room was big and bright. We had a kettle, microwave and a small fridge. The bed was comfortable, however the pillows were flat. But they were quite big enough to fold them. The bathroom was well equipped. Never had any problem with water pressure or water temperature. The room was well heated, warmer in the morning/afternoon, cooler during the night. Housekeeper came daily and everytime made the room smell amazing. If we go back to Prague, we will definitely use Adeba again.
