Went for 6 days, 5 nights prior to going to Madrid, Spain (First recommendation, if you're doing the same - go to Madrid first so this is the relaxation/luxury you end with). Its considered low season which made the trip exceptionally unique and spectacular; an experience we probably wouldn't have otherwise had if we had gone during the high season. There were only 22 of 100 rooms occupied during most of our stay - consequently the entire staff knew everyone's name...within 48 hours it felt like family at this boutique vibe hotel. Paid for a Junior Suite and was upgraded to the Presidential Suite which was exquisite - 7 balconies facing every direction, bedroom true oceanfront view. Every day the housekeeping was decorating the bed with roses even though teh vacation was with my daughter and I - service was spot on - after coming to from massages we walk into our hotel room to see that the staff ran the bathtub and filled it with rose petals - water was even still hot!. Butler service was wonderful and we enjoyed the help from Selma who was helping us pack and she offered wonderful help and conversation with my teenage daughter. There was a daily ritual of opening a bottle of champagne at 7PM which seemed to draw me down stairs daily which turned into dinner and drinks every night on property - something I've NEVER done in all my 30 yrs of traveling...I honestly had ZERO desire to go off property to eat. I found the menu to have good variety, the food to be 'fine dining' experience and teh convenience of it all just made for a much more relaxing stay rather than taking cabs to and fro just for food. We literally ate EVERY meal (breakfast and dinner) on property for 6 days - I never got sick of it; ordered something different every day for dinner (but had the octopus multiple times as it was off the chain good!). Dining staff was really attentive and I liked how they were working every day; I basically had a personal waiter every night, Faycal, who was amazing. He would remember what I had ordred the night before, make recommendations...and was always smiling, happy to be working there and showed authentic passion and love for his country, employer and us as clients. Our evening entertainment was Hicham, the bartender. Every night he was making different concoctions for my daughter of non alcohol mocktails which she really enjoyed; found ourselves spending hours at the small bar area in the sitting room as the conversations with Hicham were so pleasurable. Again, the staff's attention to you given the low occupancy was just unparalleled and so uniquely special. Hicham said the vibe in high season is like MIami Beach!!! I can't even imagine and given this experience I think I'd always want to return during low season..which btw, look at the pictures - rain did not effect our stay at all ! Lastly and most importantly I'd like to comment on Mirame the duty manager. I'd highly recommend reaching out to her BEFORE you arrive for best advice and guidan
