DO NOT STAY HERE! What a DUMP. We should've realized we were in trouble when he handed us an actual key to the room. The room stunk like old linens. Linens were washed but gray and towels felt like a brillo pad. Beds were a thin mattress over a wire framed box spring and hard, pillows were small and hard. Lighting was flourescent bulbs that took 10 minutes to warm up & get bright. The FREE breakfast, HA,HA, it was 2 containers of dry cereal with no milk in sight and the coffee had been reheated so much it was like tar. We booked 2 nights through ******* which was a mistake because we left after 1 night with no refund available

Keep on driving. The price, at $55, is actually way too high for this run down, shabby, shack. I'd dragged my things in before looking at the room. I packed up and drove the extra ½ hour back out to Mauston. Ended up at the Quality Inn [excellent!] The Pine was so awful I lost my room fee rather than stay.
