This hotel is very clean friendly and welcoming. I visited as a solo traveller and found this adults only hotel nice and restful. That said although I wasn't expecting 5* hotel the service was very friendly and helpful. Beds were not that comfortable and the buffet was mostly ok, but like some other reviews found some food stone cold from la plancha hot grill. (German sausage cold in the centre). Although I chose a basic room the view over the hill was very beautiful, the hotel is a stones throw to the beach Castillo less than 5 mins walk. Also nearby is a central bus station terminus with buses going to destinations all around the island. The buses take cash or contactless payments. I've been to Tenerife 3 times and this is my favourite area, it is cooler but it's far greener with exotic plants and the old town around plaza del Charco are beautiful.

Very friendly and helpful staff asked for extra pillows and they were in room almost immediately. Very clean hotel food very nice and drinks good. The hotel is having a lot of work done rendering outside. So curb appeal not good. The hotel is little worn in places but don't let this put you off. The location is excellent short Walk to the beach and old town. And the zoo People with mobilities would struggle.mobility scooter can be hired ,ask at reception for Very good price. I lived the holiday and would go back. Only complaint I did have was next to the lovely swimming pool with life guard at attendance all day which I found to be first class ,was a small pond with terripins and fish, the water looked stagnant and in poor condition no filtration or pump. I raised my concern for animals welfare every day. The maintenence man said a pump was used at night absolute rubbish and I said I was not happy. This is the only let down to this lovely holiday.

Overall we enjoyed this hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel in general is very nice. Our room had a great view and was fairly comfortable. The bedding could do with being renewed but was OK. There seemed to be some sort of entertainment on most nights but we preffered to go out. There are some small bars nearby but we got the feeling that they catered more for the German tourists. The town centre is very lively at night and well worth the 20 minute walk to get there. The distance from the centre became annoying as the week wore on. However taxis are not expensive. One issue for us was breakfast. Served till 10am but on the few mornings we went down (around 9.30) there was very little left and what was there did not look very appetising. Near Loro Park (not to be missed) and near the beach, if black sand appeals.

Next to nothing food wise locally .. we went without tea for 2 nights .. not much variety at all .. two small cokes costs €5.00 as wasn’t included with our evening meal .. beds were uncomfortable and gave us aches and pains .. 2.5hr+ on shuttle bus to airport .. breakfast finishes at 10:30 and yet they were turning off lamps on food and turning off drinks machines gone 10:20am .. felt rushed and basically kicked out the door so couldn’t finish our breakfast.

Hotel staff very welcoming and friendly Accommodation was clean but needs refreshed Food needs to be improved basically the same at lunch and dinner with a change in the grilled meats would have liked to see a themed menu each day!

If you expect quality and tasty food, do not choose this " establishment ". We stayed at this hotel for about a week. This is a hotel mainly for people 60+, our age was about 30. The hotel staff is not that nice at all if you are not Spanish speaking (or Spanish by origin). There were also communication problems in English. Unpleasant woman at the front desk, unpleasant elderly lifeguard at the pool and unpleasant most of the gentlemen/waiters. Minuses and problems of the hotel: - outdated decor, ugly interiors, - everything at every turn is charged extra (weight for suitcases, billiards, washing towels, etc.), - three cramped, smelly elevators without air conditioning, - dirt, insufficient cleaning of the lobby and room - small pool compared to the size of the hotel - hotel rules and regulations, which were followed selectively, - hotel guests were taking sunbeds for themselves from 7 am, although it is not allowed to do so - an unpleasant gentleman threw us off the lawn by the pool while trying to speak English, saying that it was some kind of special zone - men are not allowed to enter for dinner in tank t-shirts, but women can be almost naked - very poor quality food (we had half-board). for dinner terribly cooked meat, each day only one type of meat dish, besides that only fish. - boring breakfasts, - the restaurant room was very hot and stuffy and smelled bad. Minuses of the hotel room: - dirty glasses that were only turned upside down - dirty curtains - hideous bathroom fixtures, stone and rust on the faucet - dirty bathtub glass - TV attached to the wall in such a way that it is impossible to use HDMI - air conditioning that hardly worked - horrible bedspreads that looked like dirt - towels throughout our stay were not changed even once - the balcony stank of ********* - damaged floor under the bed - wifi hardly works at all Pros: - good thing we are already home __________ Older women often go topless, there are two all-inclusive "tiers". The regular one and the one you still have to pay extra for. Silence at night from 11pm, at which time the lamps on the balconies are turned off. One evening the lampposts were not turned on until around 10:30pm and turned off half an hour later. There are dance nights and bingo nights for older people. This is not a 4* hotel, someone should report this somewhere. Don't write me off that you are trying to improve the quality of the hotel service and the hotel, because it's not true. Similar reviews have been happening for over a year at least, and you do nothing about it. Terrible experience.

Stayed at the holiday with my boyfriend for our first trip together. The room was comfy and very dark, and stayed cool. There was a little fridge as well which was useful. The hotel also had a lovely salt pool, with loads of sun-beds. There was also another sunbathing area. You could also book excursions within the hotel which was very useful. Wide range of food at the hotel and staff very attentive. The only thing that could be better was some tea and coffee extra bits or a microwave in the room etc.
