Quite far from the city area. Good place to stay if you are going to El Nido as it is on the way. Still needs improvement with service and staff. The room is also huge and good for families.

I had an amazing stay at Panja Resort Palawan. The views from the hotel are simply breathtaking, offering a serene and picturesque environment that made my stay incredibly relaxing. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring.
The hotel environment was perfect, with lush greenery and a tranquil atmosphere that added to the overall charm of the place. The pool area was fantastic, offering a great spot to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
The service was outstanding, with the staff being attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their professionalism and hospitality truly enhanced my experience.
Overall, Panja Resort Palawan deserves a full 5 stars for its excellent amenities, stunning views, and exceptional service. I highly recommend this hotel to solo travelers looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

Очень уютный, новый, чистый отель! Правильнее будет сказать гостевой дом - владелец живёт рядом, в своём доме. Соответственно вы получаете семейную заботу!!! Если пожелаете - вам приготовят вкусно, по домашнему. Лично я именно здесь впервые попробовал несколько традиционных Филиппинских блюд - восхитительно! Вобщем только положительные впечатления! До главной дороги метров 700, в принципе вообще не проблема. Кстати, можно заказать разные туры прямо из отеля. Однозначно рекомендую!!!

**Review of Microtel Hotel**
We recently stayed at Microtel Hotel, booking two rooms, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.
The rooms were outdated, with dim lighting that made it hard to see. The shower controls were rusted, and even the tissue holders showed significant wear. We were surprised to find that there’s no in-house restaurant, and the breakfast offered was not worth the price.
Despite having a small number of guests, the breakfast options were limited to eggs, sausage, tocino, bread, rice, fruit slices, coffee, and juice. It took a long time for the staff to refill these items, and they weren’t even heated properly. To add to our frustration, my nephew, who is in grade 5, was charged as an adult because they don’t have a child rate.
The towels were also outdated, which contributed to the overall feeling of neglect in terms of maintenance.
On a positive note, the staff were welcoming and friendly, which was appreciated. The beach in front of the resort was beautiful, but it wasn't enough to make up for the lack of proper amenities and upkeep.
Overall, we left feeling that Microtel Hotel needs significant improvements to meet basic hospitality standards.

The hotel territory is so beautiful, it’s very peaceful and picturesque. The room was fine, we found all the necessary stuff inside. The pool was fine but the water wasn’t so clean and it’s not deep. Breakfast portions were not big enough but the taste was nice. We enjoyed our stay there. The stuff was very helpful and polite.

We recently spent a few nights here and overall, it was a decent experience. The cleanliness of the hotel was good, although I did notice that the chairs in our room could use a vacuum, as they had some dark stains. Additionally, the room’s smell could be improved to create a more welcoming atmosphere upon arrival.
On the plus side, I absolutely loved the mattress and comforter; they made for a very comfortable sleep. The location is a major advantage, being right in front of the mall, making it easy to access shopping and dining options.
The staff were generally nice and accommodating, though I found the waiter at the restaurant to be a bit shy. He seemed to lack communication skills, as he didn’t greet customers or smile, which detracted from the overall experience. I think he could benefit from some additional training in customer service.
As for the food, while it was fine, I felt that the prices were a bit steep considering the typical quality and serving sizes.
In summary, while it's not a luxury hotel, it provides a decent stay with comfortable accommodations and a good location. It just needs a few improvements in cleanliness, ambiance, and service training to enhance the guest experience. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of receiving pens upon checkout :)

The room was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near the mall and restaurants, which made our stay more enjoyable. The WiFi was fast and reliable, a big plus for anyone who needs to stay connected.
However, there was no access to cold drinking water, only room temperature, and the two complimentary bottles provided were insufficient. While you can request more, the service can be slow at times, which is inconvenient when you need water quickly. A cold water dispenser or more readily available bottles would greatly improve the experience.

Просторные номера, кровати с очень удобными матрасами и подушками, отлично выспались. Шведский стол на завтрак, не очень разнообразный , но всегда вкусно и свежие натуральные продукты. Хороший бассейн, прекрасно чистят.
Специфическое море. Отель хоть и на пляже, но тут сильные отливы и не всегда удается поплавать, хотя когда прилив отель предоставляет бесплатные каяки и прогулки на снорклинг (кстати отдельное спасибо Дастину , инструктору (special thanks to Dustin water instructor ) , который возил нас на риф и на песчаную отмель где смотрели рыбок, морских звезд, он помогал снимать нас на GoPro пока мы ныряли. ) это тоже бесплатно.
Еще в гостинице бесплатно предоставляют велосипеды и шлемы (кстати все новое и качественное) , мы катались до рынка и центра города, покупали фрукты. (До рынка 12 мин на велике, до центра 30 мин)

As they are all courtious and will do anything you request. The breakfast is good with cereal , eggs and rice , toast some other alternatives offered. rooms are spacious and give a modern.feel. big comfy beds with seperate shower and toilet room. Kettle with tea and coffee is great and gowns are available. However no room.cleaning unless you ask. So.just ask for this. I had problems with the safe and they came immediately to fix it so they ate very qyick.to meet the custoners demand. Airpirt shuttkecalthough its 1 km away but you need to call and arrange it.
A good choice to stay as its close to the town.and airport. Good happy hour 2 for 1 cocktails.
One thing i need to.share is the pool and gardens are neglected. Pool tiles on wall are coming apart 😭 Such a lovely place please look after the pool. Having the use of the pool is a grest.bonus !.well dobe Vanvas Boutique Hotel !.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThis place is fantastic! Location-wise, it’s really great. It’s very near the city’s commercial establishments and great restaurants - 5-minute drive on average. It’s also near the airport. The neighborhood in which it is in is very quiet and peaceful. So if you want a place that’s very accessible but still in a quiet location, this hotel is for you.
I also would like to commend the staff - they’re all very warm and friendly. They were very accommodating and gladly answered all our questions about our travel.
This hotel has a resort vibe so you really get to relax. It has great amenities, a lovely pool, and a relaxing main reception hall with a billiard table and comfy couches. It also has an in-house restaurant which is great for those who don’t want to go out to dine. Our room was very clean, cozy and surprisingly large for its price.
We would definitely book this place again when we visit Puerto Princesa in the future. Definitely worth the price! 🫶

KKenDucsWe recently had the pleasure of staying here, and I must say it was one of the cleanest hotels I've experienced in Palawan. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to access local attractions. However, there was some noise from a nearby bar late at night. It wasn't too distracting for me, especially on the higher floors, so I recommend requesting one of those if you’re sensitive to sound.
The hotel itself is well-maintained, likely due to its recent renovations. The elevator, though small, was smooth and always clean, which added to the overall pleasant experience. The bathroom was a highlight—very clean and comfortable, although I did find the water heater a bit challenging to adjust.
Each room features a smart lock and a smart TV with Netflix and other apps, which is a nice touch. The Wi-Fi was reliable, even on the highest floor, allowing for seamless browsing.
One area for improvement would be the bedding. While the mattress and pillows were decent, a thicker comforter would enhance the sleeping experience, as the provided blanket was quite thin.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While this may not be a luxury hotel, it offers excellent cleanliness and customer service, making it a great choice for travelers. I would certainly consider staying here again!

DDaniel DavidCitadel (the name of one of the owners) is probably the ”best for the money” mini-resort in Puerto Princesa! My room had a king bed, was comfortable and included satellite TV, a fridge and sink area. The grounds a pool are clean, neat and look great. The pool is amazing for a property size. Even though the Citadel is located 1.5km away from one of the main roads and the Robinson's Mall there are small food stores nearby for basic needs. It's easy to get a tricycle from the road near the property to just about anywhere in the Puerto area. Do ask one of the locals what the fare should be to the placey you want to go.
Francois and Citadel, the owners are very nice and helpful. You will enjoy your at the Citadel!
BONUS TIP: Just up the road (north) to the left is a food store and cafe on the right side of the road. Inside is a dental office run by Dr Joy Zapanta. She offers a full range of dental services. I got my teeth cleaned for about US$20. I could see dental tourism as a future business for Dr Joy. Enjoy your stay at the Citaldel and get all your dental work done!

Though structure is already old and just an “okay” clean, triple bed room is spacious and the staffs were very accommodating.
Free toiletries were not complete (as per staff, no stocks)

PPengguna TetamuWe are a family of 5 and booked two rooms. The rooms were very spacious with nice balconies overlooking the pool. The breakfast was excellent, the pool and beach activities were fun. They even had a fun game room for the kids. Not too far from the airport and transportation to and from the airport was included. The only negative was the construction noise.

Several different people kept checking my reservation with me , during the time I was there. I was going to stay a couple of nights extra but then got tired of continually asking , so I just moved to another place 😂

CCarpe Diem JayMy stay here was okay. The location could be better, need 100-150 trike ride to get to stores, restaurants, etc instead of anything being in walking distance. Disappointing a place this big didn't offer food or dining. Probably the best part is the friendly staff at the front, ready and willing to help with anything and check on your well-being. And they do laundry at reasonable rates. The room bring advertised as ”pool view” was a bit misleading. It's just facing a bunch of plants, shrubs and trees and behind all that is the pool.
I cannot overstate this. The key is WAY too big. It's cartoonishly, inconveniently, ridiculously oversized. Hard to carry, hold, even use in the door if your hands are full. There's absolutely no reason for it to be this big. They say it's so people don't lose it but they ask you to leave the key with them when you leave anyways so...?? Y'all need to change that lol
