Hotel terbaik di Puerto Vallarta

We stayed in the VistaPier renovated tower of this hotel ...seems to be two sections : Hotel Delfin ( the older section which seemed like more of a budget friendly place; mostly Spanish speaking families.) The patio and pools were clean but from the outside, the rooms seem very dated. The VistaPier is a totally different experience..adult only, nice pool easy to access loungers on beach and pool deck. Restaurant for guests only and public taco cafè on property. Food and drink service on beach. There is also a breakfast buffet next door st Delfin. Guest rooms were lovely...you have to reserve the ocean view junior suite ...Modern finishes ( tile and granite and very comfortable king bed an pillows with extra blankets, fridge and nespresso machine. No issues with sir von or water. Private elevator for VistaPier guests. Also registration was classy..private lounge and offered a drink at check in ! A bit pricier than average for no meals but the location and quality were great.

I stay at this hotel several times per year. When I arrive, many of them know me by name, and say ”Welcome Home”. It truly does feel like home! The rooms are very clean and in great working order. The hotel amenities are great! What really makes the hotel is the people. From the Valet when you arrive when they call you by name, to the front desk, to the hostess at the restaurant (thank you Pamela!) it is amazing. The Marriot Lounge team is exceptional. It is difficult to name a couple and leave others out, but I deal mostly with Ernesto and Effrain, with Daniel running close. They have worked at the hotel for a number of years and are very knowledgeable and efficient. They remember your preferences and make sure they have them when you arrive. One example is the tea that I drink. I didn't want what they had in the tea box. The next time day, they had what I wanted. And, now, each time I come they offer me that tea. Working with Oscar at the front desk has really become a privilege. He is very knowledgeable and is so pleasant to talk with. Something disappointing to me is that many people are served in the Lounge, and many leave with saying nothing or simply ”thank you” and will leave without giving a gratuity at all! Of course, the amenities of the Lounge are an earned privilege for long-time Marriott Members, however, the service team is not part of the ”amenities” and it would be great if everyone gave just a little! A continued, overall, excellent experience. I will return soon!

Saya diberi ruang pandangan dermaga, biliknya lebih kecil daripada gambar, jadi saya pindah ke bilik yang lebih baik dengan bayaran tambahan. Dia memberi saya bilik yang sangat buruk ... Our flight was canceled, and after a week at an all-inclusive, we spent 2 nights at Puerto del Luna. We have 2 children, ages 10 and 12, and I thought it was a charming place to stay. It is a bit older and simple, but it was cute, and safe, and made me feel like I was in Mexico. We loved the pool and the ping pong tables. The location was fantastic, as we could walk to anything and everything or take the bus. If I was going to Mexico on a dream vacation, this would not be the hotel I would choose, but as a budget friendly choice, I think it ticks all of the boxes. Omar at the front desk was great. he helped us with multiple things as we were trying to sort ourselves out after finding out we'd be ”stuck” in Mexico for an additional week. the definitely took some of our stress away and was very accommodating. I liked this place a lot for the price.

Do not go here, I had the unfortunate experience (along with my husband and two year old son) of getting terribly ill during our stay at the resort. It was not your standard traveller’s diahhrea, the violent illness we experienced left us stuck in hotel room for days on end, hardly able to function. My son ended having a seizure while he was sick and we were left helpless. I was also two months pregnant and am still concerned about the significant consequences I may be faced with attending this resort and getting so sick. Firstly, we are experienced travellers and this has not been out first hot holiday, we are also very capable in “roughing it”. We first checked in to our hotel room, it was quite a basic room however the furniture was in a deplorable state. The chairs were significantly stained, had mold growing on them, and the rotten doors were falling off the dresser. The tables were swelled up as if wet clothing was left on them and the edges were chipped, cockroaches in the room, you could see the dirt build up in the corners of the room and the pillows smelled like sour sweat. Sewer gas leaked from the shower drain which was not a inviting smell to walk in on, or anytime we used water. We did our best to make the most of it and agreed we would only be sleeping in the room after all, and tried to enjoy our holiday from a beach perspective. The grounds were kept fairly neat and tidy. The kid’s splash park however was incredibly dirty, the water was extremely murky which made us question how often the pool actually gets cleaned. I saw someone get hurt while in the Splash Park, they sustained a deep cut on their leg due to an unfinished edge on the water slide. There was a significant amount of blood that was leaked in the pool from this incident, it was never shut down to be cleaned. As the water park is cement, there are a number of rough and sharp edges that you really need to be careful on and we saw quite a few kids get scraped up pretty bad. The cleanliness of the restaurants were questionable, at the buffet and snack bar, I would need to pull about 3-6 plates before I came across a plate that didn’t have any dried food or dried spills on it. Same with the glasses, often there was watered down ketchup or other liquids in the bottom of the glasses which made me question if plates and cutlery were actually washed, or just sprayed off with a hose. The food was questionable, however we played in safe and ate very bland. On day two, we at the Japanese restaurant (al carte), what seemed like a unique experience at the time, we all became incredibly sick after the meal which lasted roughly four days. It was not your usual sickness, we were throwing up blood towards the end, which has never happened before to any of us. Any time we would eat from the resort after that, we would get sick. We suspect it was due to food poisoning or general sanitation, as we did not have any issues with the food off resort. We ended up going to a grocery store s

I don't usually post negative comments, but if this will help another traveler make an informed choice, I thought I'd let you know a couple of things. First, I booked a junior suite with an ocean view. The rooms are very nice and spacious. However, our ocean view was actually of telephone poles and wires and the thatched roof of the club across the alley. I admit, the ocean was in view, beyond these obstacles. Our original room was on the 4th floor and the first night our roof sprung a fast leak due to the downpour outside. It was mostly cleaned up and we were told to let the front desk know in the morning that we needed to move rooms. I would have thought that due to the inconvenience of having to re-pack everything, that they would have given us an upgraded room. Instead, they gave us a junior ocean view suite on the 3rd floor with a closer view of the wires and rooftop. This room also had only one patio chair so even if we wanted to sit out on the patio, we wouldn't have been able to together. The resort itself has nice amenities.
