Very bad service and unfriendly hotel during check in. It's a nice and beautiful hotel but unfortunately it's not properly upkeep and maintained. No luggage assistant at lobby even though I checked in with 5 luggages and have to curry all the way into the lobby and to the room. No welcome greetings nor positive gesture to welcome for checking in at all by the front desk and very unfriendly check-in process. I was supposed to book the hotel for 5~6 days but has decided to check-out the next day and looked for a much better alternative at other hotels in Puning. The room is big with a good size toilet and a big bath tube but it's very smelly and not properly maintained and cleaned. Room service was very unfriendly and rude to knock at the door heavenly to deliver a fruit platter with a very bad attitude without greetings. Some of the floor supervisors and staff are good and attentive but with the overall mood and energy in this hotel being very dull and unfriendly, it makes the atmosphere of the hotel very unfriendly. Definitely not a good hotel to stay when there are other better alternatives around the city. I'm happy to make the decision to check out the next day after 1 day stay and great I have made the right decision as other hotel I'm staying now has much better attitude and services with a better room and cleaned. Such a big disappointment for me for my first visit to Puning and stayed at the JiaHua Hotel Puning. The management should take a serious effort to provide proper training to the staff, especially the supervisors and front desk manager, to upgrade the hotel to a proper international standard. By the way, the hotel doesn't accept international credit cards for payment as the front desk manager told me their international credit card reader has not been working since Covid pendamic, only Cash or China mobile payment are acceptable at the hotel.
