Excelente servicio,ubicación e instalaciones,mini bar pobre, en realidad solo tenia dos botellas de agua,dos cervezas y dos refrescos
La disco y la música solo están abiertos hasta las 2am

The room was really nice and clean. The property is quiet and clean. They claim to have an adult side of the resort but the kids are everywhere. The food is ok. You have to make reservations to get good food

I stayed at "Ocean El Faro El Beso" hotel during the winter of 2023. One evening I went for dinner and left a do not disturb sign on my door as I didn't want anybody to come in. When I came back I noticed that the sign was not there and someone entered and made the room. I called to the guest service to discuss this issue but the person on the phone was not helpful and later told me that I didn't put the sign on the door which is definitely not the case. After trying to discuss this issue further the guest service hung up on me and when I called back they didn't reply. Later, I came to the lobby to file a formal complaint because my privacy was violated, however I was met with a hostile and even aggressive attitude. In particular, the person even loudly hit the table with his palm when I took the complaint form. Because of this I decided to leave the hotel sooner than the end of my stay there. I decided to get a room at another hotel because I felt very uncomfortable with the type of service provided here and the attitude of the personnel. My vacation was practically ruined because of not only this issue but the fact that despite me staying at the "El Beso" part of the hotel which is supposed to be "adults only", there were plenty of children everywhere. The toilets in the bathrooms are leaking and sometimes smell like sewer. The "Adults Only" part of the hotel is not separated from the other part of the hotel and there are plenty of children everywhere.

Overall my wife and I enjoyed our stay at El Beso and would go back for sure. The property is very clean and well maintained, the grounds are very nice and there are many choices for food and drink. A few things I would point out to those that are considering staying:
1) Make sure you have arranged transport from the airport to the hotel. It came as a surprise to me that toking through ******* did NOT include an airport transfer, so I paid $70.0 US going to the hotel, and then again returning back to the airport at the end of the stay.
2) Its a bit of a misconception that the property is "Adults only". There is an Adults side of the property and one for families, but you are sill on the same property and eat at the same places, more or less, with the exception of one or two restaurants that are Adults only and the Buffett has an adults side and family side. This was not a problem for us at all, but worth mentioning.
3) Overall the Buffett is the best place to eat as it is massive and offers many choices. There are themed restaurants which were fine, but for myself and our group we all preferred the buffet.
4) The staff is VERY friendly and eager to please, and definitely appreciated getting tipped a dollar or two when we were getting a drink or after dinner. We were in a group of 8 and would leave $2 each after every meal and that seemed to be very appreciated as I noted not many other diners seemed to be doing the same thing.

First time in DR and this was for sure one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at . Best hospitality from the front desk Marcos to the entertainment with Wanda and Francesca ! Overall would recommend and come back !

Staff were amazing! Even on a rainy day they had karts going around resort to pick us up. Communication was on point and resort was big enough to the point where it didn't feel crowded. If you're looking for a party party resort this isn't the place but if you're looking for the perfect balance to have a good daytime fun and some party fun at night this is the spot. Added bonus was the adults only side - felt like a whole different resort with no kids on one side :) Will definitely be back!

Pros— the property is walkable, no matter which part of the resort you stay on. the beach is walkable as well. staff was amazing. Dario, Emancio and Alexander Tavarez were extremely warm and welcoming. Check in was seamless. fave bar was the beach bar hands down.
Cons- dining options limited and based on reservation for a few of the restaurants. In order to secure a reservation, you have to wake up by 8am to book a spot. Dining at some places isn’t all day, they’ll have breakfast from 8-1130ish. Lunch 1230-4, dinner starts at 6p. so if you’re hungry in between, kind of limited. the food across the board was mid. need more flavor! the steakhouse was probably the best tasting spot on the resort. the ny steak was very flavorful !
all in all i’d rate this a 5/10. i wouldn’t go back simply because this was my first all inclusive experience and i didn’t care so much to be confined to the resort with limited options for food.

The resort was nice. Nice layout easy to find things to do. We did have a few issues with not having a fridge when we arrived for 3 days that got resolved. Then we always had to ask for water, lots of places to eat. Our maid always cleaned our room nice but wish she would have put flowers or towel art I always loved that from.other resorts. Staff friendly, the blue team always full of energy at the pool. We never did the beach just because we found it to windy and rocky. We did go to the presentation of the privilege club which I found to long and to loud in the area they did it, and we were told about a hour we were there almost 3 hours. Good drinks our waitress around the pool always knew the drink we wanted. But wished they had more umbrellas. Overall we had a good trip and would recommend this resort.
