Hotel Queenstown dengan Sarapan

Whilst this is an hotel that is rated as a luxury hotel there are a few features which don’t justify that title. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable, and most have beautiful views of the lake. However there are a few things that are irritating. Being offered a coffee on arrival and then realise you have to pay for it, having to ask for enough tea and coffee every day, and always having to ask for more milk. The room service menu is very limited and not available when it says. We had to order an early breakfast which came in a carrier bag, with no milk or yogurt. Eating muesli dry is not fun! Apparently they had run out of yoghurt? I am sure when these minor details are ironed out the Rees would be truly classed as a luxury hotel.

Enjoyed a 4-night mini-break at QT Queenstown. Hotel is great and I’d highly recommend – perfect location (short stroll into town along lakefront); spacious rooms; and most importantly staff welcoming and professional (shout out especially to Louisa & Anthony on front desk and Darren & Erike(?) in restaurant/breakfast room – they’re great ambassadors for QT and made our stay extra special.

The restaurant was nice and food was good, that’s the only nice thing I can say. Our room with a view was right on top of the car park. No privacy whatsoever and the view had a big tree in front of it. Not quite what we expected for $330 a night and it gets worse, please read on. On arrival and needing to use the bathroom I quickly found out the toilet brush has not been cleaned in months, it stank the whole unit out. It was filthy!! I complained immediately to a staff member outside the unit doing cleaning rounds. They sent a cleaner up to re clean the bathroom and get rid of the smell plus they replaced the brush. We were not offered a clean room, I was almost sick 🤢 at the time and I really thought that was the least they could do, that brush was disgusting and it will be forever imprinted into my memory. 😩 There was also Mould growing in the corner of the bath/shower, the place is not cleaned properly. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, they charge $20 a night for you to park your car and they take $200 bond at the beginning of your stay, charge you the $10 exchange rate and when you go to get your money back they charge you another $10 to give it back. A $330 room turn into a $360 room. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else. No photos as it is a memory I hope to forget.

We booked a room with two single beds and yet they provided us with a King size bed upon arrival. We expressed our concern to the reception and they said there is no guarantee for the room type booked especially during peak season, and they even said it is a common situation in New Zealand, which I personally haven’t encountered in other 4 hotels during my stay. I ended up paying extra for an extra bed so that my frd and I can sleep separately. The customer service from trip.com provided assistance instantly when we expressed our concern to them and they agreed to compensate the extra that I paid. Apart from that, the hotel is clearly understaffed as there were times that there is no one at the reception and I didn’t think the staff were very attentive and helpful either. Also, there were not enough parking space in there car park so we were forced to park outside the hotel as directed by the staff but then the staff called our room at 6:30 the next morning telling us to park our car back into the garage as people started leaving. All things aside, the location of the hotel is great as it is beside the lake and is close to the city centre. To conclude, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to others.

I booked this hotel so we could be close to LUMA. I read some really mixed reviews and was a little nervous. But we had the BEST stay! Right from calling up as I made a mistake booking online, the man who I spoke to was so helpful, accommodating my large family group over three rooms . It was a really really busy weekend at the hotel with Luma on and kings birthday, but the staff were all so lovely and friendly despite being run off their feet, Highlights were the comfiest beds ever, the fab spa pool which was a hit with us adults and kids( you book a slot at reception), and the amazing lake front view from the lake front rooms. There was even a kids corner near reception with Xbox game, books and a few toys. The reviews online had been average for the breakfast. While it wasn’t ground-breaking, it was more than fine and the custard danish pastries were delicious! Overall, we had a fab stay and would definitely book again.

We were incredibly fortunate to book in and have our very first Le Goûter experience, at Le Salon Rouge, in The Sofitel, Queenstown. It was an Afternoon Tea like no other that we've ever experienced before. It was very romantic, an afternoon tea in a gorgeous elegant setting with relaxing speakeasy-style music softly playing in the background. The presentation was such a special surprise, with us each being delivered a book filled with decadent French treats. My book was from Paris, and my husband's was from New York. Inside the books were bite-sized delicious morsels that had been perfectly hand crafted by Sous Chef Imogen Liao. Each item is made on-site and was created with absolute precision! If you're ever in Queenstown, this is an experience not to be missed. Unlike many other Afternoon Teas in Hotels, this is affordable, and is such a fun, and very French experience to enjoy with your loved one, or a friend. I have been to several Afternoon Teas and High Teas across the world and can say without question that I have never experienced one like this before. This is definitely unique, I have never been surprised like I was in this one. The freshness and attention to detail were absolutely second to none. This is a memory that we will treasure forever. Ia adalah penginapan yang hebat selama empat hari tiga malam. Pertama sekali, lokasinya sangat baik. Ia mengambil masa tiga minit untuk sampai ke kedai Nzone, tiga minit untuk info&track (bas pergi ke Glenorchy), lima minit ke fergburger dan fergbaker, dan sepuluh minit ke Kiwi Park dan lokasi kereta kabel . Ia mengambil masa lima minit untuk berjalan kaki ke perhentian bas lapangan terbang No. 1. Perhentian bas antara bandar juga berdekatan, jadi berjalan dengan beg pakaian tidak memenatkan sama sekali. Sikap perkhidmatan di meja depan juga sangat mesra. Walaupun biliknya kecil, 2 beg pakaian boleh diletakkan di bawah katil, dan tiada bau pelik di dalam bilik. Walaupun dapur kecil, hampir tiada orang di situ pada waktu sibuk memasak. Restoran itu berada di tingkat empat. Persekitaran yang agak baik dan tidak ramai orang. Ia sangat sunyi dan saya berehat dengan baik sepanjang beberapa hari lalu. mengesyorkan.

1. Location: It's convenient and great if you don't have a car as it's only 10 mins away from the city centre. There is a bus stop to go to the airport and city just next to the hotel. There's the Queenstown Trail track just down the road if you wish to have a pleasant walk along the lake. 2. Service: The guy who did our check-in did it like he was repeating a song that he was fed up with singing. Good for those in a hurry who like express check-in with 0 personalization or care but that was NOT a 5* check-in. 3. Room: Booked a standard room on Luxury Escapes, but I don't think the hotel should be on this ”high standard” booking platform. Our room was on the ground floor, so everybody could see us and our belongings. The room was old and small. We had very little room left being 2 people with 2 big luggages. One of the two glasses in the bathroom was still dirty from the previous guests. The blinds didn't work properly and we had to find tricks to close them so people wouldn't see us get changed or sleep! Your sleep might get disturbed if passersby are loud and drunk lol. The washing machine was literally just in front of our room door (a thin door) and woke us up super early one morning. The TV didn't work. Big lack of plugs outlets. Overall, if you're planning on spending the entire day outside and getting back to the room just for sleep then you're fine but don't expect anything fancy.

We are a family of three and we spent nine nights at the Crowne Plaza in Queenstown. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a great location but these are the only positives. We had complimentary breakfast for nine days but didn't eat it once during our stay. We attempted breakfast but it was well below average. I can recommend the orange juice but we much preferred to go elsewhere for our morning coffee and a bite to eat. We also ate at the restaurant on the first night but that was enough for us. This was also below average and we never returned during the remaining eight nights. The hotel is very much a three star hotel standard. It's an ageing property with small rooms and very limited hotel amenities. The hotel isn't cheap and I would say that it doesn't represent good value for money. This is one of the worst IHG hotels that we have visited. We were actually looking forward to leave, which was a shame as Queenstown itself is stunning. We are now spending a few nights in the Hilton Hotel in Auckland before returning to Australia. In all honesty we all had a huge smile when we checked in to the Hilton and felt so relived to be back in the type of hotel that we are used to.
