Hotel Reina Isabel was a very modern hotel and the view was beautiful. The staff was very helpful and professional and the room was super clean and nice. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was very delicious and there was a lot to choose to eat. The fruit was very fresh and the juice was so delicious.

We were stranded in Quito for 3 nights after our flight was canceled and ended up at this hotel. It was great that many staff spoke English, all staff were very friendly and willing to assist. The gym facilities are great with lots of equipment. The outdoor heated pool was lovely and warm so I could do my laps then relax in the hot tub or sauna. It was walkable to Old town Quito, across the street from a lovely park, a block from a big local indigenous market, a block to the free national museum. Concierge arranged a wonderful taxi day trip to El crater, middle of the Earth and the monument on the hill with a great driver at a very reasonable price (I believe they have their own taxis - it looked like their name on cab). Concierge gave great instructions and recommendations for local activities within walking distance. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and huge with wide range of varieties, including an omelet station. I ate 2-3 meals a day there and all the food was delicious and nicely displayed on the plates. I especially liked their variety of fresh juices. They were very organized when 30 of us came to check in last minute at 1 am, they already had the paperwork with keys ready so all they asked was our name and we were all in our room within 10 minutes- impressive! They helped make a stressful situation a wonderful experience- thank you!

I booked this hotel based on the great reviews . With all the cancellations my airline was having I decided to cancel my hotel reservation and just show up. Big mistake, they were full at 11:00 in the morning. I had been travelling for over 20 hours without sleep and was exhausted. The lovely women at reception tried to find me a hotel nearby which was a no go. I finally found one online and they called and got all my questions answered and were very helpful in translating. I had lunch in the hotel which was tasty and had excellent service. Based on my experience would recommend this hotel and suggest you reserve in advance.

A great new hotel in Quito’s financial district, with plenty of great eateries around. The breakfast had something for everyone from cereal to toast, waffles to fruit. Staff were really attentive and always pleasant, polite and helpful. We chose this hotel as it had private underground parking, which was ideal and safe. My only criticism would be having to get the attention of someone to open the barriers to enter and leave. Thanks for a lovely stay, would highly recommend as an affordable stay in the city.

We usually try to stay at Marriott properties when travelling as we know what we are likely to get and my Platinum Elite status normally brings some extras. We had arrived into Quito on a late flight so it was around 1am when we were checking in - quite a simple process and the receptionist gave us a quick rundown on the hotels facilities before we went up to our room. The room and bathroom were reasonably spacious and were fine for the 2 nights we stayed. The bed was especially comfortable. Breakfast was a good selection on the ground floor with an egg station to go with a cooked breakfast. Unfortunately they hadn’t switched on the electric warming plate under the sausage and bacon so it was cold which took away the pleasure somewhat. They do have a lounge available to those on the club floors and Platinum members but the receptionist hadn’t given us the correct keycard so had to change it before we could enter. A few snacks and drinks available in the afternoon and 2 or 3 cooked items in the evening. We didn’t eat dinner in their restaurant as they are a number of other restaurants nearby. Overall a good stay with room for some improvement.

Although is located in a busy street and area, there is security and really close to malls, restaurants, banks, supermarket and also a nice barber shop next to the premises. Breakfast to die for. We stayed at hotel San Francisco. The hotel 'lobby' is absolutely stunning as is the building. The rooms are very basic and can get quite loud at night from outside traffic. So we do suggest bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The location is fantastic and it's a short walk to the main square. So if you aren't going to spend a lot of time in the hotel and just want something economical and basic, then this is the place.

我們沒有預訂酒店接機，正好碰巧遇到酒店接機的車，就送回酒店了，太太太幸運啦。機場距離酒店非常近，坐了好幾十個小時的飛機✈️衹想趕緊到酒店休息哈哈。酒店工作人員都非常熱情友好，大堂放着一大束玫瑰花🌹很美，我想我還會再次入住温德姆。之前在海南也住過温德姆酒店，服務也是很好，大集團的管理很棒！對了我們去餐廳用餐，服務人員都很熱情介紹，菜餚味道很好👍，坐在大大的落地窗前，吃着美味的菜餚，是人生很幸福的時刻。希望酒店越辦越好

PPengguna TetamuI stayed here on a solo trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos. My guide recommended Hotel Casa Gardenia and I am so glad that he did. It was a wonderful place to stay, well situated in the Historic Centre of Quito. I felt very safe wandering the area especially with the map the front end people gave me that showed where it was advisable to walk or not walk. The service was impeccable. I have celiac disease and they gave me options for the breakfast ,which I appreciated. My room was on the street side of the building and there was some street noise. However, I put my sound machine on and it was absolutely fine. I loved coming in at the end of the day and having a glass of wine in the sitting area, looking at the view. One little bonus, directly across the street was a laundromat. I was able to have all my cleaning done before departing back home.

Hotel was empty, super quiet, and very pretty. Comfortable beds. Lots of minor irritants make the stay unpleasant. If the hotel had more guests it would probably be loud - all windows open to the courtyard so you hear anyone talking there. The bathroom was designed by someone who doesn't use a bathroom. The counter overhangs the toilet so that the toilet lid cannot open all the way, it falls down if you try to open it, etc. The shower is cute, but to reach the valve you have to put yourself below the rain-type shower head. So you have to get sprayed by cold water to turn on the shower. These minor irritants degrade the experience and are not what one expects from a hotel that costs 2x other options. The included breakfast was awful. Scrambled eggs are more like an egg soup with some oil added. They had spaghetti with clams one morning that looked like leftovers from the night before - who eats that at 7am? Most of the bread baskets were empty, juices were empty. You'd think that no one was tending the buffet except there were 2-3 people standing around talking to each other. Again, perfectly reasonable for a hotel that costs $20/night. Not at all reasonable for a hotel that costs this much. Dinner was fine, but the menu is very limited and expensive for relatively simple food. Lots of waiters, not many guests. The dining area is set up in the open patio/courtyard which makes for a kind of weird experience of everyone being a little too close. One night there was a big table for a group that seemed to really enjoy itself - everyone else just watched and listened them as they dominated the room. The restaurant seems to cater to local events like family gatherings, which is great unless you are a hotel guest. All-in-all a nice-ish hotel that costs far more than it should. Clearly someone put some effort into the original remodel and since then the interest has waned. TV remote turns on the cable box but not the TV, you have to walk through the construction zone of the bar to get to your room, breakfast is gross, bathrooms were designed by aliens, etc, etc. There have got to be better options in this price class. Not sure why all these other reviews are so glowing. Perhaps first-time visitors to Ecuador who are just glad that they were not robbed?

PPengguna TetamuVery helpful and friendly staff and many spoke English. Our room was in the ”modern wing” which had posted signs in the hallways asking that you keep quiet. Filtered water was available from 5-gallon jugs at multiple locations in the hallways. The room itself was very comfortable. The bathroom area had two sinks, plenty of counterspace, and separate ”rooms” for toilet and shower. Room also had a safe. No A/C but windows did open -- and there was an overhead fan. You are able to close the window when sleeping and able to block much of the noise from overhead planes. Had two sets of blinds to block out any light. The grounds were well manicured and attracted various birds, to include the gorgeous Vermillion Flycatcher (see photo). At least three Llamas roam the grounds and the friendly house-cat, Sylvestre, stopped by to say hello several times (we sought him out the 2nd night). The restaurant had a large dinner menu and offered a nice selection of local dishes that were freshly prepared. We ate two breakfasts - buffet style; fresh fruit, cereal, breads, cold meats and cheese plus hot items (scrambled eggs offered each day). At one end of the parking lot there is access to a nice trail and the neighboring farm - we walked around this area and felt safe at all times. While we had our own airport-transfer organized, the hotel does state that they offer this service. It's about a 20-25 minute drive to the airport. For bird-watchers, there is an eBird location called ”Hosteria San Jose de Puembo.”

PPengguna TetamuMy husband kept raving about this hotel. Ignore any negative reviews you might spot here. Front desk staff were attentive and pretty fluent in English (although it’s presumptive to expect that wherever we travel). The hotel is on a quiet street for Quito and had double-glazed windows (unusual in this temperate climate) so it was super quiet. I got there at night and closed the heavy drapes; only in the morning did I discover there were blackout shades, too — a nice touch. Abundant hot water (not always a given in Ecuador) and a spacious room. This hotel felt very luxurious to us. The pool and workout area, which we did not have time to use, was amazingly well appointed. Breakfast buffet was pretty varied and phenomenal as well. We felt pretty spoiled staying here. When we were there the English Ambassador and his entourage were also staying there, so I think it’s considered to be a pretty good place.

Équipements conformes à la description. Literie confortable. La WiFi fonctionne. Hôtel en plein cœur du quartier Mariscal près de la place Foch... Très bien situé dans ce quartier sécurisé. Le couple de gérant est aux petits soins avec nous et ils vous donneront plein de bons conseils. Je recommande.

PPengguna TetamuThis charming hotel was supposed to be a one night stay for us after two weeks in the Galapagos- a final big night, New Year's Eve in Quito. Instead, we discovered on New Year's Day that our daughter had tested positive for Covid. We don't know what we would do have done had it not been for the compassion of owner Miguel, who refused to abandon us in our hour of need. He immediately arranged for a separate room with kitchenette for our daughter while my husband and I stayed in a separate room. We were all, including staff, extremely careful with regard to sanitary protocols, distancing and masking. The staff helped us with arranging for on-site local testing and other necessary arrangements. They helped us with cabs, arranging for take out dinners, and our room rate included a nourishing breakfast. We stayed for another 8 days until she tested negative and in addition received a Document of Recovery from a doctor. Convenient location allowed for easily walkable trips to the Quito marketplace, which was superb. The artful decor and plant filled patios and decks made this a charming stay. Huge shout out to Miguel, Carolina, Steven and the staff for being so gracious and kind to help us out during daughter's Covid!!

We needed a place by the airport for an overnight before flying out. The hotel arranged for a driver to pick us up which went perfectly. Very nice grounds with a pool we did not try. The room was clean, and comfortable. The manager answered all our questions on Google translate which I am now going to use. The next day we had breakfast, and left. Had to rush back to the hotel as we thought we left our passport and jacket. Found our passport deep in our luggage but we did leave the jacket at the hotel. They were so accommodating. Would stay here again. Saw a vermillion flycatcher at breakfast!

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed here for 2 nights during a short stay in Quito. Because of Covid, many of the bars, night clubs and restaurants are still closed but this hotel is perfectly located to be a short walk to a great night out. Plaza Foch was open and we had a great dinner after a short walk there. We were at this hotel the evening of my bf's birthday and I worked with the staff to put up balloons, a happy birthday sign and some confetti while we were out for the day. It came together perfectly and I was so appreciative that they would help me with this personal touch. They also prepared snack bags with juice, fruit and a sandwich for our early trip to Banos and on the day of our early airport departure. This is a solid 3 star hotel but the experience was so much greater by the very kind and helpful staff working there.

BBJBMDBeautiful hotel 4 KM from the Airport. Wonderful and kind management. Rooftops have great views at sunset. Only complaint was bathroom light was automatically on, and very bright, at 3:00 am, was a surprise. The little cafe up the street and to the right has wholesome food. Both are nicely priced.
