Stayed on 9th of July 2023 Positive: 1. The hotel is 5 minutes (approx) walking distance from Ramanathaswamy Temple. 2. Reception staff (Night Shift) was courteous. Negative: 1. Room is too small, if you just want to sleep go for it and should not pay more than INR 1500, excluding breakfast. 2. There is NO car parking on the hotel premises, you have to park your vehicle somewhere away. I requested and I was lucky since I parked my car in a corridor outside the hotel's entrance but had to submit my car key. 3. Bathroom had 2 big cockroaches. 4. Cleanliness was poor, especially bathroom flooring. If you have your own transport, I suggest you should stay in a hotel 1km to 1.5km away from the temple, the hotels are big and better. You can park your car near the temple since small private parking spaces are available.

It's worth for money. I booked two ac rooms for 6 members (4 adults and two kids age around 11. I didn't ask for room service but restaurants were near by and walkable distance to temple. Good parking available. Rooms are clean.

Hotel Ashoka was our pick when we were doing our initial screening of hotel selections and truly it did not let us down. We had booked a family room with Balcony. The room was very spacious with 2 double beds enough to easily accommodate 4 people. Hot water was available 24*7 thanks to geyser. The water cooler was also available at arms length because of which we didn't have to buy a bottle of water. The only thing which lacked in our room was a mini fridge. Coming to the food, the breakfast was really tasty with vegetarian south indian spread. Chutneys will not let you down. Tea and coffee and a sweet was nice. We also had dinner on one day and dal tadka, jeera rice and aloo mgobi sabji didnt let us down. Overall a good hotel with very close proximity to the north gate of Ramanathaswamy temple. (3min walk)

The picture of the room is not the same what you get. Rooms were slightly unclean. However, they do cleaning and change of bedsheets everyday, which is nice. Service was good but not quick. Please have a guard sitting at the car entry & exit gate as we have to get down of the car to always open & close the gate. Nearby temple and agni theertham.

I had made my booking via makemytrip. The location of this hotel is excellent. Around 1.5 to 2kms from Rameshwaram Temple. I have to admit this. I am extremely impressed with the MD Mr Arulmurugan and Operation Manager Mr. Sivakumar there. They went out of their way to make my experience the best one. We stayed in their deluxe rooms (thanks to the MD and Manager). The rooms were very clean. The restaurant steals the show. Absolutely loved the food quality. Best part was that all the bearers had a smile on their faces. While greeting, while serving and while seeing you off. I would absolutely recommended anyone to stay here. They will not regret it. 3 cheers to the entire WYT Hotels team.

One of the most disappointed stay .. usually I never take things negatively but I had a bad experience here Firstly the towels given were wet and I got a doubt they they folded used towels .. but after thorough checking thier stocked towels I found that they recieved it like that from the dhobi .. next to that the washrooms are not at all clean .. and even the rooms were not properly mopped . The mattresses on the bed are also in bad shape .. overall it’s not at all good . We asked for room service nobody lifts the calls in the restaurant and when complained they said they had less staff and cannot supply in room . When went upto restaurant .. they had some buffet which is very little options . We ordered ala karte and food is ok with very very poor service . They dint care to serve .. just throughed the plates on the table. Bufffet breakfast is good and refilled with care .. when raised the complaint the management representative is very humble and said it’s one of thier busiest days as it’s some auspicious day .. Overall a bit disappointed

Very well maintained and spacious hotel with lots of parking space and aesthetically decorated interiors giving an upscale vibe to the property. Good service and great food. Staff are very polite and helpful. Large rooms with ample storage space and furniture. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend to all.

GGaëlleNous étions (avec ma fille de 20 ans) a Rameshwaram pour 1 ou 2 nuits. Il nous a été attribué une chambre de 2 lits doubles. La literie était confortable.
En revanche ce qui est dommage c'est le ***que de moustiquaire à la fenêtre ! Du coup on ne peut pas aérer sans faire entrer les moustiques (donc ça sent l'humidité à notre arrivée), et la chambre reste sombre.
Pour réserver une nuit supplémentaire je suis passé par une réservation sur le site sinon le staff me proposait un prix supérieur... du coup j'ai eu des a priori sur eux. (Alors que peut-être c'était un problème de communication)
Il ne m'a jamais proposé son aide, je n'ai pas non plus de***dé.
sauf au moment même du check out, il s'est proposé et il m'a donné des renseignements sur les trains et bus, il était prêt à nous aider. Mais il aurait fallu que je lui de***de la veille!
Donc n'hésitez pas à lui de***der, il sera de bon conseil.

We stayed here for a night to cover our TN trip. A brand new hotel with only 6 rooms currently in operation....a pleasant surprise with excellent service Good side: New hotel, new rooms Close to the temple..walking distance Excellent and friendly service...owner personally takes interest to serve the customer Rooms are decently clean...though small A restaurant close by offers decent food Nice option to wash the legs outside after visit to the beaches before entering the hotel Not so Good side: - No windows in the room...only in the wash area...makes the room always needing lighting - Washroom can be maintained better - toilet bowls need better cleaning (currently do not qualify for western standards) - No towel rods in the wash area - no hand towels provided....need to access the bathroom every time even when you need ad wash - No coffee facility inside the room...we were provided with hot water for storage in our own thermos. we then made our own coffee before early AM departure with our own condiments Would love to visit again and stay again just to enjoy the friendly service

PPengguna TetamuI had a really good experience staying here. It is located 650 meters from the west gate. It is as simple as taking one left and a right turn to get to the gate. Everything (a local shop, home mess, and family restaurants) are nearby barely 5 minutes walk. Now when it comes to facilities, we were provided all the necessary items. Staffs were very helpful. I talked to the owner/manager of the property he guided me planning the whole rameshwaram trip. This property has a common balcony at 2nd floor where one can pass his time in the evening. It's very airy and peaceful. Its a good place for family time. The property was clean and well maintained and had a parking space as well. F
so, all in all, i would recommend this homestay for family stays.

PPengguna TetamuThe location of the hotel was adjacent to the east gate which was very advantageous for changing clothes after getting drenched in the holy wells. Also the agnitirtham was very close to the hotel. Though vehicle was not allowed upto the hotel as it is very near to the temple gate yet the hotel arranged for pickup and drop in rickshaw. The hotel rooms are very grand and the restaurant food is also delicious. Overall we had a pleasant stay in rs n international and i will definitely recommend this hotel for everyone.

TTrek13096339785Vinayaga is one of the best hotels in Rameshwaram. Room services are quick, Easy to talk to and will make sure you experience luxury. For Food it is a delight with their multi cuisine availability. The north indian food we had was a treat we can only find in Vinayaga that reminds me of home. Kali Dass, the restaurant incharge took the charge himself, to make us the most luxurious visit we can have. Even the reception was super cooperative and will try its best to meet your demands. So, overall its a 5 star for me, had the most welcoming, luxurious and comfortable stay, i could ask for.

Many residency is situated in Rameswaram nearby Railway station. Hotel is located within the busy market and everything is available nearby. Ramanathaswamy Main temple is walking (100-200 mtrs max). We reached around 12pm and room was given in no time and to my surprise room was clean byond expectations. I think either it was a new room or renovated, whatever, is the case cleanliness was top. Elevator is available. Amenities are ok and AC is superb, they do not have much options for room service and it is not needed either. Get down from the hotel and everything is available. Towel, bedsheets and everything was super clean. Room was big enough. If I come back to Rameswaram, will stay at this property.

PPengguna TetamuA bad stay experience indeed ! We had booked at this hotel through GoIbibo for two nights. First impressions : the hotel is located a stone throw’s distance away from Agniteertham (where you take a dip in the calm ocean before you go for Darshan), the hotel is located in a narrow street where you shouldn’t go with your vehicle but they have a private parking located 100 metres before the hotel where you can go and park your vehicle. The hotel’s staff including the owner came across as decent people and room was fairly okay wherein the washroom could have been more clean for the price you pay per night compared to other properties in this area. The worst part however came later into the night as we were hoping to get a good night’s sleep after driving for over 12 hours to Rameswaram. There was a rowdy and extremely noisy group of people who checked in around 5 am in a room at the top floor as our room and made life hell with their chaotic behaviour that came straight out of a Fish Market scene. We contacted the Hotel Management including the owner to calm these urchins down but in reality the owner didn’t make any serious attempt to ensure that the noise levels came down and in the end left the matter to be settled between us and them. Later on instead of being regretful and trying to control this situation for the next night this particular group’s behaviour was being sort of justified by the owner that they had children and that’s why they were uncontrolled and blah blah…we had to drive next day for close to 12-15 hours and instead of wasting another night with the iditiotic chaos that was to follow, we decided to checkout a day early. You may have all the amenities of the World in a Hotel but if you can’t peacefully sleep at Night as that’s the bare minimum requirement when I look at a place to stay then everything else is useless to me. No refunds, we wasted our night and money, expected better response from management but they were not interested at all, please do think twice before staying here considering the aforementioned points, next time I am going to book a lodge as so many of them are located in the vicinity at 1/3rd of the price. The only reason I booked this property considering there will be some minimum set of standards maintained and basic rules enforced but alas it was a disappointing experience indeed.
