Whilst recommending La Vida On Anzac recently to an interstate couple, I realized that I had not submitted a review for this excellent establishment. My wife and I took out a 6 month lease to enable us to purchase a local property at our leisure. The second floor, 2 bedroom apartment was perfect with two balconies facing north and west. The apartment was clean, neat and tidy with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. La Vida's location is unbeatable. It is located across the road to a local mall including a Woolworths supermarket. Another minutes walk puts you on the beach and the entire range of restaurants and shops on the main Redcliffe esplanade. One of the unforgetable aspects of a stay at La Vida is the wonderful, friendly hospitality of the managers and staff. Having such comfortable accommodation with friendly hosts made the relocating to the city from the country a stress-free exercise. We have been recommending La Vida ever since we left. This is a great little gem tucked away in Redcliffe - the operator is super friendly and the lodgings are very clean and comfortable. A lovely shared deck overlooking the pool is a great way to end a long day. Continental breakfast includes - basic cereal and toast etc. was fine for us - but a cooked breakfast also seemed to be an option. The light breakfast was perfect for us, especially in the warmer weather. but there are plenty of options available. The operator is generous with her time and local advice but you will also have plenty of time to unwind.

Staying at Oaks Mon Komo was a very easy experience from us booking online, we received prompted confirmation of our booking and other holiday information. On arrival the receptionist where very efficient and welcoming and collecting the keys and parking vouchers when very quick, we requested other parking vouchers for our friends who were staying with us but arriving later and this was no problem at all. Our room was very spacious and well-appointed with everything we needed. The views were awesome. The outside space was a bonus, we spent most of our time during the day and evening there enjoying the fresh sea air and views. We had everything at a short walk distance, and after a busy day out and about we slept like babies. We will be back to stay when we need to stay on the peninsula again. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing.

Place is within walking distance to all restaurants and the beach. Booking process needs to be looked at as I had to wait 30 minutes for someone to respond to my call after I was given a wrong Pin to access the key. I found it a bit weird that the microwave and fridge were in the bathroom but its minor and i could live it that.

We stayed over Easter long weekend, we never saw anyone at reception the whole time we were there so we couldn’t ask for anything (eg extra towels). One of the lifts was out of service so in busier times the wait for a lift was very long. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly.

Fantastic had a lovely stay

A good beachside option in Brisbane. I normally stay in Redcliffe but tried Margate for a change. I was pleasantly surprised. Whilst the room was expensive it was a well sized and furnished room with side on sea views. Sea front rooms were an extra $100 + dollars a night. The bathroom was particularly well laid out and I liked the comfortable leather chaise lounge in the room. Their is limited undercover car parking on site. Whilst I didn’t eat there, the restaurant downstairs has a lovely beachside outlook. Their is a roof top pool and bar. The bar was very popular the night we stayed. The people going to and from the bar tend to monopolise the only elevator on premises meaning longish waits to secure a space to go up or down. The balcony has a light on that I couldn’t find out how to turn off. Dining options are a 15 minute walk away in Redcliffe. Service at the front desk was fine. In summary, a good beachside accommodation option.
