Excellent, we'll definitely be back! My friends and I had a great time, and the food wasn't expensive. The only thing is the paint smell in the room was a bit strong, which I hope they can improve. Also, there aren't many entertainment facilities. Keep up the good work!

My kids enjoy swimming, big pool and kids friendly (especially mini waterpark). We’ve been booked Garden Villa without breakfast, room space just nice for kids below 12yo. Room have mini ice bar, tv, kettle, hanger, wardrobe, iron, iron board & sejadah. Restaurant and shops just nearby the resort. Highly recommended for family vacation.

The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, from the lobby to the guest rooms. I recently had the pleasure of staying at B&J Tioman Dive Resort on Tioman Island, and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, it was clear why B&J has built such a strong reputation among divers and travelers alike. One of the first things that impressed me was the cleanliness of the accommodation. The room was well-maintained, comfortable, and spotless throughout my stay. Housekeeping standards were consistently high, making it easy to relax after a day of diving and exploration. The resort grounds were also kept clean and tidy, creating a welcoming and pleasant environment that reflected the professionalism of the entire team. What truly made the experience special, however, was the people. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, approachable, and genuinely eager to help. Whether it was assistance at the reception, advice on local activities, or help with dive logistics, the team always greeted guests with a smile. The dive instructors and divemasters deserve particular praise. They were knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about sharing the beauty of Tioman’s underwater world. Their enthusiasm was infectious and helped create a fun and relaxed atmosphere both above and below the surface. As a diver, I greatly appreciated the balance that B&J strikes between enjoyment and safety. Every dive was well-organized and professionally conducted. Safety briefings were thorough, equipment checks were carried out carefully, and the dive guides remained attentive throughout the dives. Despite maintaining high safety standards, the team ensured that the dives remained enjoyable and memorable. Their familiarity with local dive sites allowed us to maximize our underwater experience while feeling secure at all times. It is reassuring to dive with professionals who clearly prioritize guest safety without compromising the fun and excitement of exploring the reefs. Another highlight of staying at B&J was the abundance of delicious food available nearby. The resort’s location provides easy access to a variety of eateries offering local Malaysian dishes, fresh seafood, Western options, and refreshing drinks. After a day spent underwater, it was wonderful to have so many excellent dining choices within walking distance. The combination of great diving and great food made every day on the island something to look forward to. Overall, my stay at B&J Tioman Dive Resort was outstanding. The clean accommodation, warm and friendly staff, professional dive team, strong safety culture, and excellent food options combined to create an unforgettable holiday experience. I would not hesitate to recommend B&J to anyone visiting Tioman Island, whether they are experienced divers, new divers, or simply looking for a relaxing island getaway. Stayed on 5-6/7/26.  Location strategic, 25 mnts to cherating, 20 mnts to kuantan city. I stayed in garden view room..car parking in front of the room.  Room spacious, clean, have balcony..have chair n table in the balcony..Boleh lepak..the view is so Green, very calm dgn bunyi burung..rasa mcm stay kat kampung2..  Walking distance to beach.. clean beach..boleh joging keliling resort smpi ke beach.. Area resort ade byk kedai mkn, kedai runcit, 3 mts to natural batik village.. location strategic utk pergi tmpt2 yg best ke viral..Nk beli Keropok lekor pun byk je kt tepi2 jln tu.. Price is so affordable..friendly staff.. very helpful.  Breakfast sgt sedap..many choice..mkn dpn swmmg pool.  Definitely will repeat soon!

Had an enjoyable stay at 1001 Hotel overall. One of the biggest highlights is its location. It’s situated away from the busy casino crowds, making it a peaceful retreat while still offering easy access to the attractions. The view is absolutely stunning—waking up to a sea of clouds was truly unforgettable and one of the best parts of the stay. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. The check-in process was slower than expected (only one staff) and the front desk staff could communicate more clearly and proactively with guests. Better coordination and customer service during check-in would create a much better first impression. Another downside is the limited food options within or near the hotel. While this may not be an issue for short stays, having more dining choices would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. Overall, if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax with spectacular mountain and cloud views, 1001 is a great choice. With improvements to the check-in experience and more food options, it would be an even better destination.

Service was excellent. Within 30 minutes of entering the room, staff checked to see if the room was alright. In addition, they also brought our bags up to the room without us asking. The room was also super clean, there were no stains. However, the pool area is a little dirty as the stairs have mould on them. Buffet spread was excellent, there were many different options to choose from. Overall a great stay, would come back again when visiting kuantan.

The hotel front desk staff were friendly, and there was a Chinese-speaking attendant, so language wasn't an issue. The room was spacious, clean, bright, and luxurious! They even provided beautiful complimentary refreshments! The view from the window was especially good, with the clouds in the mountains below us. It's a shame the weather wasn't great during our stay, as it was very foggy.

The service is great and the food is good. The houses feel a bit aged, but you come here for the nature resort and the location for that is excellent!

The cats are very cute and friendly. Good location, crystal clear water right in front, comfortable rooms ( we stayed in a ”comfy cottage” ) with good aircon, however the service, breakfast and the atmosphere must be improved to match the big price tag!! The breakfast is poor, it’s a buffet with about 5 options, but every one of them is deep fried / ultra processed food, and with vegetarian option being an omelette (which is ok) and not much else. A serving of single type of fruit is available but it’s scarcely topped up and as everyone is desperate to get something fresh, it runs out quick. The hygiene around breakfast needs to be improved with glasses, plates and cutlery needing extra attention. Coffee and tea are over brewed and topped up hot water rather then fresh jugs being made. No fresh juice but flavoured sugar syrup. The breakfast put us off trying the food they offer in the evening. From the early afternoon till 10:30/11pm, repetitive base music, completely ruining the vibe of the place. We asked the reception on two separate days to turn it down which they did quickly, but the next day the music was back. This really is a shame as the main thing to do here is just relax by the water, alas it’s not meant to be. We informed the reception that our ferry leaves at 7am from the pier back to the mainland, they offered to bring our bags over at 6:50AM. At 6:55AM, we walked to the pier with the bags ourselves for the fear of missing the ferry as no one was around to take us. Again, frustrating. We stayed 5 nights and it’s a shame as the place has a lot of potential and these things are so easy to fix but without addressing the issues above the cost is really not justified.
