This hotel has a great location, and the historic building carries itself well. However, the improvements to the hotel do not complement the historic aspects of the building. Picture a chrome and glass coffee table in a beautiful historic room with 11 foot ceilings. It just does not feel right. The drapes in the room do not reflect the quality in the room and were only semi-effective in blocking the light. There were no extra blankets provided in the middle of the winter. The hotel does not provide robes or slippers. The breakfast room in the hotel is beautiful and feels like a historic ballroom. The only better breakfast room I have eaten in is at the Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg (the house in ”The Sound of Music” home. The hotel has a great location between the train station and old town/river. It is next to the park on a busy walk street, so be prepared for the urban noise. There is a night club below the hotel so also be prepared for that noise at night. Note: If you are booking in an urban area you should expect these things as part of the experience. This hotel should be a 4 star with improved operations and has the potential to be a 5 star hotel.

Super Hotel, sowohl die Lage (Nähe Hbf aber auch Nähe Altatadt) als auch extrem freundliches Personal (sowohl an der Rezeption, als auch das Frühstückspersonal). Wir waren als Familie mit zwei Kleinkindern da, wir wurden sehr, sehr freunlich behandelt. Das Frühstück war fantastisch, mit guter Qualität, Auswahl und ausreichend nachgefüllt. Das Hotel ist neu (oder frisch rennoviert), ich habe keine Makel gefunden und es wird auf Details geachtet (Gummibärchen an der Rezeption, schöne Dekoration, Kinderstühle im Frühstücksraum, oder z.B. hochwertiges Duschgel im Bad). TOP EMPFEHLENSWERT !!

Well equipped hotel, 15 minutes walk from Regensburg old town. Stylish interior, clean bathroom, good variety for breakfast. Very nice idea: if we don’t need housekeeping, the hotel offers a drink since we are taking care of our environment. Only one negative experience is the parking: the hotel has a garage but actually impossible to find free lots. We had to park at the streets nearby which is a challenge.

Just returned from a week stay and was overall happy with the accommodations. The short walk to the city center was convenient and nice after a long day at the office. The desk could be higher and better appointed for work, the closet is very small and there is no dresser, and a lack of a refrigerator is very inconvenient. Parking is disappointing. I feel that is should be included in the price and completely validated at the front desk vs a discounted rate similar to the Goliath right in the city center. Overall it was a nice visit and the staff was amazing however, a better parking solution, and the addition of a refrigerator would greatly increase the rating.

Very friendly and helpful reception, very varied breakfast - everything fresh and made with love - at the breakfast very helpful lady. Rooms smaller, but nothing was missing, for me a better view of the courtyard, where are the rooms quiet. The appearance of today's difficult time of Covid , all at the highest level. Everything is constantly disinfected, non-contact disinfectant gels everywhere. Beautiful Christmas decorations 🎄🎄🎄and especially the atmosphere, thank you very much 😘❤️‍🩹😘

We spent two nights at this hotel. I decided to reserve the Junior Suite because of the view which that room provided. I am so glad that I did. The view is something I’ll always remember. We could see the Danube, old Town, the stone bridge, and of course the Regensburg Cathedral from our room’s windows. You can still have the same view from the main floor of the hotel. The staff was wonderful. They were very professional and very helpful throughout our visit. It was a little bit of a surprise that I received an metallic actual key for our room and not a digital pass card. It’s not a negative point to the hotel experience. I thought it was charming. Our bed was comfortable. Our room was very quiet. We left the window open at night and we slept really well. We decided to eat breakfast at the hotel for two mornings. The Breakfast buffet was well-stocked. We left satisfied each morning. The location is great. It is very close to everything you want to see in Regensburg. We walked everywhere. We even went for a 5K on our second morning. It was great running along the Danube river. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
