"Booked the cheapest room, but got a free upgrade upon arrival. Also they allowed me to check-in earlier, which was very nice. The house I stayed in was very clean, no bugs at all. Some things to keep in mind: - the resort is quite big, so if you end up staying in farther houses, you’ll need to walk to the restaurant and Viking beach for around 5 minutes. The pathways are kinda steep, so it can be inconvenient for elderly and kids or at night; - the walk from the pier to the resort takes around 25 minutes. The views along the way are spectacular. The pathway is manageable even if you wear flip-flops, but I don’t think you should try it if your group has an elder or a kid. I’ll attach some photos of the path for reference; - there’s a lot of cats! Sadly I didn’t have any cat food with me. So if you have a chance, bring cat food! 😁 - you can actually walk to the Long Beach, it will take 5 minutes or so. But the path is not for a weak… You need to hold ropes to climb or to get down. The last photo is the part of that path."

"This is our 3rd time at the resort in recent years and it remains in our opinion the best higher end resort on the island.   It’s tucked away right in the corner of the main beach which means there is no passing traffic and a lot less day trippers about.   The rooms are lovely bamboo bungalow with en suite shower and although not very big there is plenty of space for what you need.  The beds are large and comfortable and the air con works well.   The whole setting is beautiful with the bungalows along sandy paths and surrounded by gardens and trees.   The resort has an amazing huge pool and more than enough sun loungers.  Breakfast is superb with lots of choice and it’s very fresh.  The bakery section in particular is excellent.  The only negative - and this is not at all the fault of the resort - is the noise at night from the parties at the other end of the beach.  Despite being a really long way away the noise travels across the bay / beach and it goes on until about 3:30am.   They provide you with ear plugs but we always take our own better ones with us which are more sound resistant.  Soundbloc putty earbuds if anyone is interested!  With these in you hear nothing and the resort is absolutely perfect.   We will be back i am sure"

"Away from all the hussle and bustle of the town to enjoy a moments peace however still near enough to dip in when you choose. A basic no frills apartment. A nice little plunge pool to cool off in. Kettle, safe, tv and fridge in room. Fresh towels and water everyday. They were however building behind our room."

"Upon arriving to Tonsai pier on Phi Phi Island I was afraid of an overcrowded beach packed tourist spot, we secured a longtail straight away and were taken to Saii resort about a 30 min boat ride. It does take some effort or time I should say to get there from Krabi, Koh Lanta, or Phuket but very worth it. We came from Koh Lanta on a ferry. 1.5 hours and then longtail to resort .5 hours. We were welcomed in the beautiful open air surroundings, check in was a breeze. The staff was friendly and helpful and even made arrangements for our departure from the island to the airport in Krabi for days later. The resort is clean a beautiful. We had a Sea View Villa which was fabulous, clean, newly remodeled, and large. Huge front porch to sit on steps from the beach or pool. It was very adult, a quiet easy family or couple environment. Lot's of sitting areas, a seating area at night to listen to a local band. Food at the resort was good but as expected somewhat expensive, food and village out in town was quaint nice and much cheaper. We enjoyed a bit of both. The views, pristine water, serene environment, clean rooms, wonderful staff....spent three days at Saii, and I would go back again. Pics on the website were pretty accurate. If you going to go, which you should, stay for a few several days. It's worth it."

"The hotel location is absolutely amazing, Breathtaking views, quiet, relaxing, Natural, access to snorkelling. The food they had in the hotel: some of it was really really good, and some of it was not so good. The only weakness is the fact that the logistics to get there by boat are quite complicated ~ I found a single fast boat provider which can directly access the resort but they only have one boat a day all the rest require you to stop and switch companies in the middle. Once i found out which food in the resort was better i ordered that more frequently. If you wait for low tide you can walk along the beach to get to the village and avoid the other resort but during high tide that's impossible. "Here’s a more refined and balanced version of your review: ⸻ The hotel is located away from the busy, crowded areas of the island, and the views are truly stunning. Waking up to the sea and enjoying the peaceful surroundings is definitely the highlight of staying here. However, there are several aspects that take away from what could have been a much better experience. • The staff is noticeably unfriendly, which feels unusual for Thailand. The atmosphere lacks the warmth and hospitality the country is known for, possibly because most of the team is not Thai. • Cleanliness could be significantly improved. The restaurant area, parts of the resort, and even the beach did not feel as well maintained as they should be. • The beach directly in front of the hotel tends to get crowded, with many sunbeds occupied by towels for hours without being used. • The food is average overall, and the breakfast in particular is quite bland and uninspiring. That said, the sea itself is beautiful and almost makes up for the shortcomings (swimming surrounded by fishes is amazing). It’s worth staying for a couple of days to enjoy the view and the water. You can also head to the nearby, more secluded stretch of Loh Moo Dee for a quieter and more pleasant beach experience."

"The hotel is in a nice location, a little bit further away from the main town but nice and quiet with its own section of beach. The huts themselves are nice and have easy access to the sea if you want to swim in there. Sadly our stay wasn’t great, everything in the hut felt sticky and not that clean to the point that we didn’t really want to walk around without footwear. The duvet didn’t have a cover on it which wasn’t great. You can hear everything from the huts around you and we had a loud neighbour that would be talking loudly in the middle of the night and just to top it off we had to get multiple cockroaches removed from our room which really wasn’t what we were expecting from somewhere which was quite expensive for Thailand standards. I can’t say I would stay again or I would recommend this accommodation."

"Great location if you’re looking for peace and quiet away from the crowds. If you miss the hustle and bustle or want to visit the clubs, you can take a private taxi boat to Tonsai for about 1,000 THB one way. We stayed in the Ocean Sunset Room. Just a heads-up: it’s located on a hill, about a 10-minute walk from the beach. Hotel has free buggy shuttle between 6:00-22:00. However, it's the perfect spot for sunset lovers since you can't actually see the sunset from the beach itself. Great value for couples! The private pool offers total privacy (perfect for swimming naked! :) )and an amazing view of the sun going down. The room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony, but it felt a bit dated. The main issue was the water pressure in the shower - it was extremely low, which was disappointing considering the price. Breakfast was okay, pretty standard. If you’re looking for a great meal nearby, check out a local restaurant called 'Banyan' -delicious food, fair prices, and excellent service."

"This resort is beautiful. It is on the side of the island and about 15 minutes walk from the centre. They have somebody that takes your bags to the hotel, that is very confenient. Rooms are very big with aircon. They have a pool that can be used and chairs next to the ocean. Breakfast was very nice. They only thing missing for us, was a good bar. But for the rest it was very nice."
