Hotel Mesra Haiwan Peliharaan di Reykjavik

We stayed for the last 2 nights of our week in Iceland and were pleasantly surprised at the amount of space - 2 separate bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen/diner - which made the stay more relaxing for the 4 of us. The views from the balcony to the waterside/mountains were great and it was an easy walk to the main streets/church/viking ship sculpture. We weren't after a 5 star experience so the relaxed nature of this hotel, plus Dominos pizzas from over the road really hit the spot!

Absolutely brilliant hotel, location is excellent, the breakfast is great and the reception staff are so friendly and helpful can’t recommend enough, we had an issue with airport transfer and the girl at reception had us sorted in 2 minutes, thanks so much, we were helped with directions, public transport and nothing was a bother will defo come back here when in Iceland

Great location for shopping on the way to the main attractions of the (very walkable) city. On arrival staff provided us with clear directions for our first day of touring. The room was very comfortable and our request for a quiet courtyard room was granted. Breakfast was outstanding as were all our interactions with staff, including the booking of our bus ride to KEF airport when we departed. Recommended,

The included breakfast was absolutely amazing. The all you can eat spread contained every breakfast food I can think of -- all prepared to perfection by Chef Alex who is a breakfast artist. All the standards: eggs, bacon, pancakes, potatoes, cereal, etc, etc. Yet, also included a next level fresh fruit and yogurt bar that even had mangos and some delicious fruit I was previously unfamiliar with. Pastries, breads, breakfast meats, cheeses I have never heard of... a chocolate filled croissant that my wife fell in love with. Juices, coffees, lemon water... Honestly, if I listed all of the deliciousness I would hit a character limit... The real kicker though was how it fueled us for some long adventure filled days. Truly made a big difference -- left us energized and ready to roll. BIG thanks to Sabina, Kariena, and Chef Alex for top-notch everything!!! Best breakfast I have ever had... Truth.

Great location. 10 minutes walk to the church/city centre. Free parking in the neighbourhood. If you book the small room with shared bathroom you realy get a tiny room with hardly any space to open your suitcase. Everything was clean. The kitchen is well equipt and all day free coffe or tea. Magdalena is the best. She keeps the hostel running and is the soul of the house. Tak ferier.

We booked a stay at Alfred Studios but had to cancel our reservation due to changes in our travel plans. The cancellation process through a third party did not go as expected, and I was in a very stressful situation, thinking I would have to pay thousands of dollars for a stay we were not going to complete. The owners of Alfred Studios worked with me--they were very gracious in allowing me to cancel without fees, even though they are a small family business and had to risk not renting the three rooms I had booked with them for the week stay. They are a true example of what those in the service industry should be. I will definitely stay with them when future travel brings me to Iceland and highly recommend their property to anyone looking to book a stay.

I liked my experience with Being hotel. Despite of Wi-Fi unavailability in the first day of my stay and thus problems with self check-in, I still had a chance to enjoy the great atmosphere of the hotel, good breakfast and walking distance from city center.

酒店有兩個門，一個正門，一個後門用於各種預訂活動的接送（在預訂極光或出海等活動時，最好和旅行社確認一下地址，攜程上面的地址是sigtun28，但是接送是在sigtun38，應該就是後門地址）我們第一天晚上的極光，就一直等在正門，打了電話給旅行社，才知道司機一直等在後門，跑到後門去，司機又已經開到前門來了…折騰了一下… 酒店有很大的免費露天停車場，對自駕出行很友好，不用費腦子去找停車場。離大教堂等景點大概5-8分鐘車程，步行就要15分鐘左右，在大冬天裏就不怎麼友好了。 早餐中規中矩，符合冰島當地一般水準（和之後住的希爾頓差不多）有自己動手現榨的橙汁，挺好喝的（可能是因為是自己榨的吧…） 酒店餐廳掛了很多獎牌，應該在當地是一家出色的餐廳吧。但是由於時間上的安排，沒能去吃一餐，現在還是比較遺憾的，如果有時間的話，可以嘗試下。 房間大小能接受，床品也相對舒適（可能因為時差和太累了吧，睡得好得不得了）衞生間有浴缸和淋浴房。暖氣是裝在窗台下的暖氣片，拉上窗簾的話，效果就不太好了。對了，這個酒店有一次性拖鞋，就直接放在房間抽屜，這在歐洲比較少見。

My wife and I stayed here for four nights before embarking on a cruise. Room was very comfortable and was serviced every day at our request. When departing and boarding the cruise ship my wife realized that her small jewelry case was missing. I immediately contacted the hotel by email and within 10 minutes had the response that item had been located. Hotel offered to send it back to states but within a female minutes suggested that she would give item to taxi driver who within an hour delivered it to ship. Definitely will recommend hotel to others visiting wonderful Reykjavík

Beautiful place, we stayed in a small room but comfy. In the guest room there are some Chernobyl posters that are a bit disturbing at first. But still the kitchen has all the facilities we needed and the coffee maker is WOW!!! Reccomended. Only downside until midnight we could hear someone scrolling on TikTok and it was a bit annoying.
