Rhodian Sun Hotel

Booked this last minute as we usually go to Rhodes Town . What a find … quirky … fantastic hosts … family fun hotel. Nothing has too much trouble . Food was lovely and plentiful. BBQ amazing as was Greek night. The grounds and pool area were lovely and well maintained.

Best local experience ever! Food was true Greek traditional and the family that runs this little gem couldn't be more helpful. we should have booked direct with the hotel cause the TO overcharged us. ideal for families!!! thank you! will be seeing you again!

Went with friends who have been many times didn’t know what to expect however it was the most relaxing fun experience. Very traditional family run hotel with lots of Greek charm. The hotel is somewhat rickety but that adds to the charm. The food was outstanding… authentic Greek dishes and nothing too much trouble. The rooms are basic but what do you really need other than a bed a balcony and a shower… although be warned the showers are interesting. Guests meet up year after year and I understand why. Greek night on a Tuesday is lovely touch. The family run the hotel and do so very well If your looking for the real Greece then this is your place. Thanks Niko George and Stavros

Fantastic Family run hotel, food unbelievably good, staff super friendly and I loved everything about this place, would definitely come again.... Rooms are clean, nice pool with plenty of sunbeds. The manager will even pick uou up from the airport and run you back.

A few days ago I got back from a week in Rhodes. The hotel I booked I didn’t pay a lot for so my expectations were limited and slightly concerned. The place certainly is unique, it is family run and between the family and a few staff they do a really good job of cooking, cleaning, transporting, serving alcohol and all other tasks required to run a hotel. I honestly believe over 80% of the guests are returning, this hotel has a loyal fan base. So in a way it’s the most successful hotel I have ever stayed in. Close to the airport, for better for worse, good food, nice pool. I had a great time, thank you to everyone at Rhodian sun.

What a find! A perfect hotel for a 1 night stay very close to the airport. Great family run hotel. 5 star it’s not, but it provides 6 star service. It’s clean and comfortable with a delicious home cooked dinner if you wish and fabulous local wine, all reasonably priced. Also the Greek breakfast was beautifully presented and fabulous. All the staff are so kind and honestly can’t do enough for you and nothing is too much trouble. They also provide included airport pick ups and drop offs. The incredible bonus is the spotlessly clean huge swimming pool. Great value for money. Will definitely return when I’m next in Rhodes. Finally a big thank you to Nico, who is amazing.

My wife and I have just spent two really enjoyable weeks at the Rhodian Sun. It was recommended to us by friends who have been here about 8 times and we can see why. The place has a charm all of its own, and we will definitely be repeat holidaymakers here in the years to come (like many others we’ve met here). The Hotel The hotel itself is only 5 minutes from the airport but is in the countryside. It’s a good size and at no time did it feel busy, even though it was high season. It’s family owned and run with the help of others. Stavros, Nikos and George are so helpful; nothing is too much for them, and their parents still help there too. They’ll help you out with car hire and taxis too. There’s free WiFi all over the hotel, pool area and rooms. Summer and the other bar staff are great and are always there for a chat. There’s a TV in the bar area, plus a pool table, table tennis and air hockey. You can recycle your unwanted toiletries and suntan lotions at the end of your holiday so others can benefit from them-a great idea. There are also plenty of board games and dozens of books to swap too. The rooms have all you need in terms of storage, air conditioning, bathroom etc. We had a double bed (massive) and a balcony overlooking the front of the hotel from which you can see the sea (and Turkey). The rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels. We have spent a lot of time by the large pool (it’s very big!!). Never had it felt busy and even though it’s August, there’s no need to reserve a sun bed. The food What can I say about the food other than it’s the best we have ever had. It’s all freshly cooked, authentically Greek, and delicious. If you are Light all inclusive you get buffet breakfast, a La carte lunch and a La carte evening meals. The evening meal consists of 2 starters, a main and a dessert (often different types of cake and baklava). There’s also a menu of free drinks during (and a free cocktail, sometimes it’s one you will know, sometimes it’s one of Summer’s creations-we tried every one of them and they were great!!) lunch and the evening meal. I would really recommend going all inclusive as it’s incredible value for money. There are daily specials for lunch and in the evening, but if you don’t want that you can ask for something else (whether that’s Greek, pasta, chicken nuggets, burger etc.). Tuesday night is Greek night. That comprises of a BBQ (salads, potatoes, rice, bread, sausage, pork and chicken) plus local music and dancing (you HAVE to get involved 😂). We’ve been to Greek islands before and love the food, but we’ve eaten dishes we’ve never seen on menus before. The quality is amazing! If you want amazing value, a great location, superb food and a relaxing holiday, you won’t find any better than the Rhodian Sun.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in..the grounds are beautiful..pool is fab and the food is absolutely amazing...fresh cooked Greek dishes everyday...all inclusive...you are served at the table a 3 course meal in the evening and a 2 course meal at lunchtime..breakfast is a buffet...if you are looking for somewhere to relax and chill this is the hotel for you..its not near a busy town and we only went out on 1 day..you are surrounded with olive trees and other vegetation...the place is fantastic.

Had a brilliant month here. Rooms were spotlessly cleaned everyday, cleaners were so helpful and friendly. Everyday a different special choice for lunch and evening meal, as well as the board menu choice.. I have a dietary problem and this was catered for and they would go out of they way to make sure something was available... This is light inclusive and drinks served at lunch time and evenings. Bar staff and waiters were all very helpful and pleasant.. This is a family run hotel and the family go out of they way to help they guests.. Not 5 star but not 5 star prices either but you get 10 star hospitality..
