Family holiday with teens, and as usual we absolutely LOVED the sport activities. Eden at sailing is superb in every way . A leader , a participant , hands on. Lorenzo her right hand man is so friendly , kind , knowledgeable , Ray, Jo , just wonderful . Gone blank on other names. Skiing , what a team. Sohail,Didier, Asael, and boat drivers etc are incredible teachers. Haj at tennis is amazing . Reezy is so gentle &kind. Eric at reception incredibly helpful . Nothing is too much trouble (and we had a lot of trouble with our rooms , a lot and aircon issue was never resolved). He always smiled , did his absolute best. A gentleman while other staff really were rude Room extremely clean and Amitha the housekeeper is a gem . Not her fault that the drains were blocked , Aircon did not work (and in 1207 could not be fixed) toilet seats cracked, scratched , disgusting. Both Rooms , Food and service in main dining room were not up to standard . same hands clearing table m, removing dishes as bringing you drink and finally bringing cutlery (never correct or enough cutlery on table). Same issue last year . Unhygienic. Food range and quality declined since 2023 . We noticed lots of changes designed to cut costs . This said it’s amazing to see same staff at stations , even some of same waiters . It would’ve been great to promote Sunil after all the years … we’ve known him since 2009! Sometimes day guests & night guests from outside resort were poorly behaved, very loud , drunk. This year , as always we loved the sports and activities . Gary on piano , so lovely , saxophone player is amazing. While it was an incredible family holiday we have noticed deterioration that upset us . Also very surprised at the lack of care toward injured dogs that have made resort their home . It should be CLUB MED and every other hotels duty to assist in taking care of the strays with sterilisation, tick flea treatment, food, shelter , vaccination and kindness, the problem is not going away BUT getting actively involved will set you apart and maybe win you points with GEN X, millennials and Gen Z. I believe there is a desire to do this (Olivier shared some thoughts). URGENT action is needed because the problem is not going away. Similarly , the general lack of care toward wildlife in general needs to be addressed. Each year I find injured birds . No vets to care for them . It would do your reputation only good to put in place programmes for dogs , birds , cats etc .
