Hotel Best Western di Rome

I would have liked to rate the hotel as 4.5* however our room was at the front of the hotel and even with the windows shut it was very noisy from the large road junction outside, plus there was noise from other residents and tvs in other rooms, maybe some soundproofing needs to be carried out. That having been said the location was excellent, an easily walkable distance to main attractions, plus a metro stop is directly outside the hotel. The area felt safe at night and there some very good restaurants to try which are only minutes away. Should you wish to go shopping then there are plenty of non-designer shops to choose from nearby including a very good department store called COIN. Our room was a good size and had a lovely bathroom. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, the linen was super soft. Cleaning through the hotel was of a high standard. Breakfast was excellent, everything you might want and the most delicious scrambled eggs I have ever had in a hotel. There were salads, pastries, cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurts, different cured meats and cheeses, sausages and bacon and vegetarian options. Top marks for the hard working breakfast staff. A great start to the day. Staff generally were friendly and helpful. At reception were snacks and drinks to welcome you which was a nice gesture. The hotel also has a small restaurant, ideal for lunches or if you are too exhausted to leave the hotel at night. We had pizzas and salads there a couple of times for lunch and they were very good. The reception area is good with couches, they will look after your baggage if you have a late flight. A very enjoyable stay.

We felt the hotel added to our experience of Rome. It was within walking distance of all the main attractions….30-45 minutes. This allowed us to experience side streets and different areas along each route. We only had to use taxis at night on the way back to the hotel and going to the airport.

Great hotel, perfect location. Close to the train station. Metro station at 5 min walking distance. Supermarket nearby if you need anything. Breakfast was normal european breakfast with a barista. Great coffee to start your day. Room had air-conditioning, was really nice during the hot summer. Cleaning and hygiene was good and nice amenities for a 3 star hotel. Overall great experience.

I've stayed in the hotel a few times. I picked it mainly for its location which is about 10 minutes walk from Termini (or a 4 minute walk to Castro Pretorio). The rooms I've stayed in are a little bit tired, but they contained everything I needed. Breakfast was an additional charge, I only sampled this once as I didn't think the breakfast was worth the additional charge. The staff are the best thing about the hotel, they have been excellent whenever I've stayed.

Las camas ok y la habitacion basica. El desayuno deja mucho que desear en cuanto a calidad, variedad y cantidades disponibles. El personal de pocas palabras y no muy amables. Queda poco conveniente en distancia respecto de la estcion de trenes y metro, solo con taxi o caminando unos 30 minutos. Cercano habia unos restaurants y cafeterias y un gran supermercado.

The location of the hotel was perfect for me. I could take the subway for the bus straight to all tourist attractions. Fewer staffs are very warm; the breakfast is fantastic. You can enjoy Italian coffee. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

I stayed here for 5 days and the staff at the reception desk such as Fabio were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is about 20 mins walk from the Colosseum, which for me was ideal. The neighborhood is quiet, a short walk from San Giovanni subway station and has plenty of nice restaurants and cafes in close proximity. The rooms are on the small side but you get what you pay for. The breakfast for 6 euros is superb value too.

This isn't my usual way to go about things, but I feel anyone considering staying at this hotel should know who they are dealing with, so I made an account. My wife and I booked two weeks at what seemed to be a nice, quaint, and reasonably-priced hotel in a quiet part of town. Unfortunately, we arrived a few days late from our originally anticipated date (7/14). When we finally did arrive and get checked in on 7/17, we found out that my wife's relative had passed away. In full disclosure, we booked with Hotwire, so sometimes the rates can be notoriously difficult to refund. After informing the front desk staff as we headed back to the airport on 7/18, they simply responded that there could be no refund, and that I needed to take it up with Hotwire. Now the interesting part is that Hotwire was entirely willing to refund, and simply needed the permission of the hotel. The hotel refused to provide Hotwire with the actual date of check in/check out, and outright refused a refund when they told me it was a Hotwire concern. Long story short, I paid over $2,000 to book the itinerary, with nothing to show. I would encourage anyone looking to book with this hotel seriously consider that life does happen, and to ensure that the place is filled with human beings (however you book). Everything as described. Small rooms but with everything needed. Good service from the staff, exception the lady who attends the breakfast who is not quite in the same mood than the other people. Reception guys are quite helpful Is advertised a “pool” but in reality is a small jacuzzi. Could be more accurate. Far from the main attractions. Uber/Taxi could be costly. Else you must be prepared to walk 5-8 mins to the subway.

We were greeted by the amazing Lorenzo at the front desk. He was there for our three day stay and was extremely helpful. Breakfast was outstanding. The hotel is close to a bus stop and the metro so easy to get around. Recommend Wild West restaurant 10 minute walk.
