Hotel Oriente

The hotel is old, but the rooms are clean. Very close to the underground station,nice staff who speaks English. There are a lot of restaurants nearby.

Poteva andare meglio ma grazie a Trip.com abbiamo risolto varie problematiche.

Super Céntrico. Está a 10min andando del Coliseo. La habitación amplia y limpia. Solo tuvimos inconvenientes con la ducha ya que no se quedaba fija en el soporte. Los de recepción a veces un poco serios pero muy buena gente. Hay que pagar un extra por usar el aire acondicionado. Recomendado ya que en precio/valor está muy bien.

Well , let me just say upfront, please don't book this hotel, it looks nothing like the pictures here, what an utter disappoin**ent, i went in looking for a deal, but upon arrival, the otel is not in what one might consider to be the greatest neighborhoods in Rome, you get thrown off when you can barely find the entrance to the hotel. Entrance requires that you push on the doorbell to be let into the building, that was my very first flag, building looked like it was an apar**ent building that had been partially converted to a hotel. It get more interesting, you have to walk up 2 flights of stairs, leaving your luggage on the bottom floor because the elevator was locked and required a key to access , this elevator was so small and only used to move luggage up and down. Yes be prepared to walk up and down each time you went to your room or out site seeing. We get to the room and the AC was not turned on to cool down the place on a 99 degree evening, was told at reception that AC was not included when we were checking in , had to cough up 10 Euros a day plus tax to be given the remote control to turn on the AC in the room . Then was advised that the advertised breakfast bar in the morning did not exist and would be credited 2.5 Euro for breakfast, breakfast in Rome cost at a minimum 10 Euros, this was a nigh**are of a stay for my son and I and i truly wish we had read the more recent reviews by other client on this hotel. ********** need to remove this hotel from it's options !

Room looked very simple but just fine. AC was €10 a night and the owner wasn’t a nice one. Towels and bedsheets aren’t being washed, even if you stay for a week. Overall poor experience. Oh and the shower door randomly fell out of the shower.

I feel really terrible writing this review, but when you arrive at a property and the entire place is disgraceful and you can’t stay there, people simply need to know. This property was booked by our travel agent and we honestly could not stay there. 1. We didn’t feel safe as the door didn’t lock 2. It was disgraceful in appearance. From the time we walked in the front entrance there was dust and dirt on the steps, on the lift and when we got to the room, we were gobsmacked as to how it looked. 3. The cupboard doors didn’t close, we were offered a different room and the drawer on the cupboard was missing. The beds were old and the bedspreads had stains of goodness knows what on them. My friend and I could not believe our travel agent had booked us into this place and we let them know that they should never recommend this place to anyone until the challenges are sorted. I wish this hotel well, but truly and wholeheartedly ask that they clean this place up and advertise it appropriately so as to not disappoint people in the future.
