Room 230 Roma Luxury Suites

This was my second stay at Room 230, and it just keeps getting better! First of all, in my humble opinion, this guest house is located in the BEST neighborhood in Rome, called "Monti." As a return visitor to the Eternal City (8 times)I love to just wander, and I have walked to every attraction in Rome from here, aided by the metro which is a 10 minute or less stroll down Via Nazionale. I also travel with carry on only, and walk easily from theTermini train station to the B&B. Via Nazionale has excellent shopping for every budget, and there are countless amazing restaurants in Monti also. As for the accommodations, for me they are perfect. The 4 suite B&B is located on the 2nd floor (with elevator) of a glorious old building, like stepping back in time, yet into a stylish modern suite! When I say the bed is THE MOST COMFORTABLE I have ever slept in, I am not exaggerating! I have already inquired of the owner what the brand is so I can get one for my home, if I can afford it. I got the best 2 nights sleep of my two week trip to Europe in this bed. The a/c also was wonderful, as it was almost 100 degrees F when I visited this past July. I have stayed in hotels all over Europe where they have the room a/cs set and you cannot adjust them, but that was not the case here. After almost succumbing to heat stroke, I came home, cranked it up, took a shower and felt like a new person. Speaking of the shower, it has a rainfall head and also a handheld nozzle, and was just magical. The breakfast is delicious, and is served in your room daily at the time you choose. One of the best parts of this place is the owner, Paolo. He is Roman and takes great pride in both his city and his guest house. There is NOTHING that is too much trouble before, during and after your stay. He has gone above and beyond for myself and my friends on more than one occassion, and treats his guests with courtesy and respect. You can tell he genuinely cares about people. I don't think you can find anything comparable in the city for the reasonable rates at this B&B. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did, and fall in love with the city of Rome! Don't forget to throw a coin in the fountain if you want to guarantee a return. It has worked for me 8 times already, and I am confident about Number 9...

This establishment does not respect its customers at all. Following a reservation made before the pandemic, these people do not want to honor their word of credit or reimbursement. And never answer the phone. What a lack of respect!

Questo piccolo hotel si trova in posizione molto centrale, in un palazzo di inizio 900 di cui occupa uno dei grandi appartamenti che lo componevano. Le suites, non grandi ma molto curate, hanno un arredamento moderno e funzionale. Gradita la colazione che si prenota il giorno prima ed è servita in camera all'ora desiderata

Hemos estado cuatro días en Roma. Paolo un 10 como persona y el servicio otro 10 . El desayuno es individual dentro de la habitación mucha cantidad, Para poder andar por toda Roma. Limpieza de la habitación todos los días. Te sientes como en casa. Si volvemos a Roma nos hospedáramos en este Hotel.

Io ed il mio fidanzato abbiamo deciso di trascorrere 2 giorni a Roma in tranquillità, ci siamo affidati alle recensioni più che positive ma, ahimè, appena entrati in camera siamo rimasti esterrefatti, camera piccola ed anche il letto, il bagno completamente aperto sulla camera,il wc chiuso in un minuscolo stanzino che a malapena si riusciva ad entrare, tra l'altro doveva fungere anche da bidet, la doccia con la porta non bel sigillata che lasciava fuoriscire acqua a volontà, colazione decente, per fortuna . L'unico aspetto positivo la gentilezza del personale. Per il resto un incubo, sicuramente non torneremo

situato in zona strategica per accedere al centro anche con i mezzi, vicino alla stazione ma in ZTL, per cui informatevi prima se arrivate in auto. le camere sono ben tenute, pulite, il personale è sempre a disposizione e molto gentile, la colazione viene servita in camera e per essere un B&B direi anche fatta bene. ci si torna se non aumentano i prezzi
