Hotel berhampiran La Storta, Rome

This is a great campground for an easy, inexpensive, and quiet trip. I was told it was a 26 minute walk from La Guistiniani station, so it seemed perfect for my visit to Rome. Well, the walk was more like an hour and a half because of the hills in between. They do have a shuttle that runs from the station, but their time schedule isn’t published and you don’t know it until you get there. I got a mini chalet. It was perfect for my needs, even though I had a hard time figuring out the heater. Just be prepared to get there early enough to take a cab or have a car to drive there.

Excellent stay at this BnB. The owner was very helpful and made sure i understood everything, as i couldnt speak the language. I would highly recommend this BnB. Thank you for all your help.

Sad. After a horrific day we so looked forward to relaxing at the hotel. Young lady on reception demanded passports no hello or welcome. :( we felt very much like we weren't wanted there. The grounds are undoubtedly beautiful. Be warned walls paper thin. (could hear next door on the toilet! Talking etc). Shuttle is not free (as we were told). £60 local tax? Would have been nice to have been informed about that and shuttle bus charges on the first day rather then an £87 charge upon checkout. Holiday was booked for my partners birthday, and honestly I wish I'd never booked it. Our transfer didn't pick her up from the airport which was horrendous (though not the fault of the hotel). We did look forward to a warm welcome and perhaps an indication to restaurant or transport links. The young lady on reception was not helpful. She spoke mainly Italian which ofcourse we expected but not a smile or welcome. We felt very much like we shouldn't be there. The gentleman on reception was kind and helpful. Restaurant was beautiful. Some staff were hospitable, but some were not. *note. Party food (looked delicious) that evening I think for a wedding. We were suprised to see the leftovers being served to us tourists at breakfast in the morning..with flues roaming all over. Another couple also noted it and said they were careful with what they were eating. Some food was covered but this food was not. Also make sure you bring correct adapters our European adapters didn't fit the sockets (we thought a fault on out part so had no charge on out phones)... however after speaking to several guests they experienced the same. I booked this hotel over one in the city as it looked beautiful and a wonderful place to rest and recuperate. (Distance is 40 minutes to Rome please note). Whilst there is no denying that the location is beautiful, the service, rooms and treatment (especially those not local) were below standard. A beautiful location for a wedding maybe? A relaxing holiday next time we will stay in a b&b or hotel nearer the city, it didn't feel like a relaxing, romantic getaway. I hate to leave negative reviews and infact this is my first. I'm very easily pleased but I wish I had seen the more recent reviews of this place. Perhaps in peak season there is better treatment for guests? I hope so? I also hope that the hotel owner respects that some of the issues exist and addresses them to further improve the future of the hotel. We won't visit this particular hotel again sadly, but we did have the fortune of making a friend in Rome who was far more helpful then every person combined that we met on our trip. Good luck

Since we rented a car in our general trip plan in Rome, we chose this hotel for the last day because it was close to the airport and centrally located. But I wish we had stayed here for the whole holiday! My wife and I were very pleased. The location of the hotel is great for reaching the city's central quality parking lots without going through the ZTL zones (Parking Via Giulia and Parking Piazza Cavour). We also loved the pizza shop (Casaconsorti) that we went to on the recommendation of the receptionist on the evening we arrived at the hotel. The price of the hotel is much more cost-effective than the rip-off hotels in the center. The general cleanliness, silence and calmness of the hotel are also nice. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to spend much time in the beautiful garden of the hotel since we arrived on the last day. All the staff we encountered at the hotel are attentive and smiling. They do their best to help you. The hotel's breakfast is good. The parking lot is safe and the general atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and calming. Also, if you rented a car from the airport and will refuel your car on your return, there is a quality gas station (Panta Gas Station) very close to the hotel. You can refuel your car without any problems. The hotel is also not too far from Castel Romano by car. After leaving the hotel, it is only 20-25 minutes by car to go to the airport. Thanks to this, we were able to easily go to the airport on the return morning without the fear of missing our flight. In short: If you are planning a trip to Rome with your own car or a rental car, this hotel is in a good location, offers you a good service without tiring you and at a reasonable price. And the traffic between the center of Rome and the hotel is generally calm and peaceful. Thank you for everything!

L’hotel è fantastico, io e il mio fidanzato ci veniamo spesso da 3 anni a questa parte, ci siamo sempre trovati super bene, le camere sono molto spaziose e accoglienti, da poco hanno inserito il free-refill per l’acqua, una cosa ottima, la pulizia è svolta in maniera ottimale, e del resto il personale è educatissimo e molto professionale!!!
