Hotel berhampiran Havenspoorpad/Levenspad di Rotterdam

I’m a staying at the Bastion Zuid in Rotterdam, as working locally. I phoned before I arrived to see if I could get a waterkoker ( Kettle) and It was waiting for me when I arrived, with a lovely welcome from Alison & Sophie It’s a fairly industrial area, and not much locally within walking distance, unless you drive. So I have been eating daily in the hotel restaurant, and the food has been great, lots of variety in the dishes and very nice restaurant staff. The menu is limited to a day menu on Fri-Sun, but still good choices. On Sunday, I asked the staff for a pasta dish, which was not on the day menu, they were really Amazing and the chef Nikkie, was asked by Vincent, If she could accommodate my request, it was a yes, so a massive thank you for a really lovely meal, which was what I wanted after a long day at work. So a big thank you to all your lovely staff, that always have a happy smile and a big welcome, during my stay here! I’m here for a while, and have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and it’s facilities! 👍⭐️ Many thanks

Accueil digne d'un hôtel haut de gamme. Equipe de réception très professionnelle tout comme l'ensemble du personnel de cet hôtel que je n'hésiterai pas à classer comme meilleur Ibis Styles fréquenté ces dernières années. Certes, c'est hôtel très récent mais on peut aisément constaté qu'il a été conçu avec des équipements et des matériaux de très bonnes qualités. La décoration (hall, bar, restaurant, chambres) réalisée avec goût sans oublier l'aspect confort que certains architectes oublient lors de la conception de certains hôtels. Le service est lui aussi très professionnel et courtois tant au bar, au restaurant et lors du petit déjeuner. Le restaurant (italien) propose des mets variés et qualitatifs. On ressent l'envie de satisfaire et de bien faire. Belle petite carte des vins. Merci spécial au manager Eliott. Le petit déjeuner proposé est lui aussi très varié et riche (cela change du traditionnel petit déjeuner standard et pauvre des hôtels Ibis en France). Les chambres sont bien équipées et joliment décorées. L'hôtel est situé face à la salle omnisport et concerts de Ahoy. Parking payant jouxtant l'hôtel. 5 minutes à pied de la station de métro Zuidplein qui vous permet de rejoindre la gare de Rotterdam Centraal en un peu plus de 10 minutes et l'hyper centre de Rotterdam en 5 minutes. En conclusion, même si nous avons la chance de fréquenter plutôt des hôtels premium je qualifierai l'IBIS Styles Ahoy comme un des meilleurs hôtel fréquenté depuis 25 ans dans le groupe Accor. Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Freundlicher Empfang. Wir haben ein Zimmer in der 12. Etage bekommen was wir so gerne haben wollten. Die Dame am Empfang hat alles möglich gemacht das wir in der 12. Etage das Zimmer bekommen. Wir waren richtig happy und haben uns gefreut. Der Ausblick war klasse. Immer wieder gerne das Art Hotel.❤️

It took over an hour to get a room from check-in. The first room didn’t have WiFi, so they sent me to another room ( they didn’t help move my luggage and I spent 25 traipsing around trying to find my rooms) - having moved room - still no WiFi and the key didn’t work. This hotel looks like a fun place to stay - but it is awful. I’ve been here an hour - apparently someone will be down to help. Can’t unpack as I expect that I’ll be moved again (and won’t get help). Have just been called and they wanted me to go to another part of the ship….where there is WiFi…I guess we’re giving up on being allowed to work in my room.

Really nice hotel. The view is stunning. Great amenities. Nice breakfast. Very near to the metro. Trams stop in front of the hotel. Very accessible. But the check in is at 3pm. Unlike other hotels, we can check in a bit earlier. But here, we had to stay at the lobby until the check in time. Good thing, you can drop your luggage at the reception desk and stroll around the city. Overall it’s good, worth the price!

Coffee at breakfast very mediocre - sad for 5 star. Mold in shower - also not 5 star. The worst is the fact that we had to wait at checkout ”because they needed to check if we took something from mini bar” - that's like ”we think you are lying 🤥”. After 15 minutes of waiting for their check we had to go to the counter again as they clearly forgot about their check ...and then we ”got permission to leave” :) For the rest it's a nice hotel, not noisy and good beds. Good location. Tip : reserve your parking yourself in ”Erasmus brug”. Cheaper then via the hotel.

A couple of lamps were not working and changing bulbs could not fix the issue. Staff are pleasant except for an incident where I have paid for dinner in cash but the cashier failed to register into the system and I was asked to pay again...the issue was resolved, eventually. Breakfast food is satisfactory and a pleasant-looking waitress cooks omelet per order.

After stay at the Copenhagen CityHub I thought why not give this Rotterdam one a go as my experience before was great. Well firstly my god it was noisy, I had requested a quiet pod in the hotel as I'm a very light sleeper (even with earplugs in and pillow overhead lol) . So I was placed near the toilets/showers.... Ding ding ding alarms should have been going off then as the amount of banging those toilets/showers doors and the thumping of the people who sounded like they was thumping past all the pods (request a top pod in future). With ear plugs I was woken up early by other pod users who didn't have a care about anybody else who would have even been asleep as long as the could have a chat in the hall ways as loud as possible. So if you are going out and getting drunk this hotel is perfect for you but if you are on a sightseeing trip and wanting a early night we'll best of luck with that. None of my USB chargers were working in my pod but luckily I had brought a plug with more than 1 socket on it for charging. You get what you pay here and for a single person it's the cheapest option in the city. Lockers are huge and fitted my large suitcase in very easily. Staff very helpful as usual especially the American guy. Would I stay again, I'm afraid I wouldn't at this one as far too noisy for me. Maybe big groups shouldn't be all put on same floor and then they can meet in area downstairs and chat as loud as possible as they want at any time that suits them.

Perfect location just next to the shopping district Lijnbaan and only a 10-13m walking distance to Rotterdam Centraal. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff is kind and helpful. Om addition they havw a 24/7 self checkout store with nice food snacks and ammenities.
