Hotel berhampiran Sportbedrijf, Rotterdam

My experience in this hotel was really nice. It's located near the city center and the metro station and you can practically have everything you need (supermarkets, shops, food) within a few minutes on foot. All the stuff is really kind and helpful for anything it may occur during your stay in the hotel. Breakfast has not a big variety of drinks and food but it's still really good. My only complaint about this hotel is that there is no fridge in the room, which you really going to need if you are staying for more than 5 days. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay in days inn and I would definitely visit this hotel again.

The room was very nice, vibrant colors, bed was awesome, all very clean. But the big mistake they made with the renovation were the doors. They slam with a very big bang, so when anyone else on the floor enters the room, it all shakes. And then they are not isolated, you can understand discussions happening outside the room. And then, for the breakfast, dinner, lunch: only christmas music. But of the worst kind. There is no place in the region to escape this in the morning, so you have to deal with the christmas music. And for 17 euro's, it's not even worth actually what you get after your ears are in pain with ”jolly happy christmas” three times during breakfast.

My oldest child and I were viewing a university in the Netherlands. So we stayed for 3 nights. We were a bit worried about safety and noise due to us being solo travellers etc but we had no need to be. We were up on the top floor so far from the street. We never felt unsafe. Shower was very good. Staff extremely nice. No concerns about safety. They had a washer dryer which was very handy. We went to the music night they had and it was very nice. We got breakfast one of the days and we found it good value. Place was clean. Hair dryers weren’t working sadly. But other than that, no other issues.

It took over an hour to get a room from check-in. The first room didn’t have WiFi, so they sent me to another room ( they didn’t help move my luggage and I spent 25 traipsing around trying to find my rooms) - having moved room - still no WiFi and the key didn’t work. This hotel looks like a fun place to stay - but it is awful. I’ve been here an hour - apparently someone will be down to help. Can’t unpack as I expect that I’ll be moved again (and won’t get help). Have just been called and they wanted me to go to another part of the ship….where there is WiFi…I guess we’re giving up on being allowed to work in my room.

Accueil digne d'un hôtel haut de gamme. Equipe de réception très professionnelle tout comme l'ensemble du personnel de cet hôtel que je n'hésiterai pas à classer comme meilleur Ibis Styles fréquenté ces dernières années. Certes, c'est hôtel très récent mais on peut aisément constaté qu'il a été conçu avec des équipements et des matériaux de très bonnes qualités. La décoration (hall, bar, restaurant, chambres) réalisée avec goût sans oublier l'aspect confort que certains architectes oublient lors de la conception de certains hôtels. Le service est lui aussi très professionnel et courtois tant au bar, au restaurant et lors du petit déjeuner. Le restaurant (italien) propose des mets variés et qualitatifs. On ressent l'envie de satisfaire et de bien faire. Belle petite carte des vins. Merci spécial au manager Eliott. Le petit déjeuner proposé est lui aussi très varié et riche (cela change du traditionnel petit déjeuner standard et pauvre des hôtels Ibis en France). Les chambres sont bien équipées et joliment décorées. L'hôtel est situé face à la salle omnisport et concerts de Ahoy. Parking payant jouxtant l'hôtel. 5 minutes à pied de la station de métro Zuidplein qui vous permet de rejoindre la gare de Rotterdam Centraal en un peu plus de 10 minutes et l'hyper centre de Rotterdam en 5 minutes. En conclusion, même si nous avons la chance de fréquenter plutôt des hôtels premium je qualifierai l'IBIS Styles Ahoy comme un des meilleurs hôtel fréquenté depuis 25 ans dans le groupe Accor. Hotel a pochi passi dai mezzi pubblici che portano in centro città. Dispone di un parcheggio ma purtroppo non c'erano posti per noi. In strada comunque si trova posto facilmente. Le camere sono spaziose ma poco fornite. Mancano frigorifero, asciugacapelli ed armadio. Personale gentile e disponibile. Nel complesso un buon soggiorno

Good location middle in the centre with all the shops around in the area. Also possible to rent bikes in the hotel, so you can see the whole city in a day. The staff was very friendly and helpfull with information of the city

While booking the hotel we certainly came across more fancy sites & locations. Despite the traditional perception transmitted by the website the heart was more impressive than the shell. The dynamic staff and trendy setting did charme us differently. Turns out that surprisingly the hotel is a perfect oasis in a quite noisy city. Once inside no noise no stress just a nice trendy cocoon covering all the aspects to regenerate after a busy day in the city. The rooms are nicely designed with a view. Breakfast is still in the “old” setting, but luckily did receive a inspiring touch. Offering a lot of variance it is a good start of the day. The parking concept on the site was vague, but perfectly expected by the caretaking staff on the phone. Although close to the city centre most of the bar & restaurants are at the other end of the town, but when the weather is fine “who cares !?”.
