Hotel berhampiran Ounasvaara Ski Centre di Rovaniemi

The cottage we stayed is spacious and clean. The presence of Sauna inside cottage is great. Breakfast at the Three Elves Restaurant is very good too. Unfortunately the complimentary airport transfer mentioned in other review was not included in our booking. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the Santa Claus Village very much. Overall staying in Santa Claus Holiday Village is highly recommended.

The room offered sufficient space, the bathroom was clean and looked new. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a large variety of food and drinks. The sauna is also very recommandable. The location is central. There is a shopping mall just across the street, local and long distance bus stops are nearby. Personnel was very friendly and supportive.

A lovely cosy place to stay, however the location really is in the sticks where transport is limited to around 3 buses to or from the city with the last bus arriving at 7pm. But the room was great and extremely warm in the minus 15 degrees temperature.

Everything is in the hotel. The sauna was also clean and it was nice to be able to cook. It was a pity that the reception was 4 minutes away by car. So it would be inconvenient if you don't have a car.

Встречали Новый год семьёй в этом чудесном месте. Очень рады ,что не ошиблись с выбором. Отдых на 5 из 5. Это действительно, очень красивое место на природе в окружении рек ( или озёр)) и мохнатых елей,но до города и деревни Санта Клауса рукой подать на машине. Сами домики милые, тёплые и уютные, атмосфера домашняя. Звукоизоляция отличная. Есть сауна, да и вообще всё есть! Хозяева приятные и отзывчивые люди, спасибо им большое! Всё это создаёт восхитительное настроение и соответственно способствует хорошему отдыху! Минусы, если таковые есть, то их совершенно не хочется замечать. Но позволю себе всё же ложку дёгтя. Т.к это был Новый год мне лично немного не хватило посуды и её уже хорошо бы обновить. Ну в целом всё замечательно и мы получили лучше того, что ожидали. Место куда хочется вернуться! Рекомендую 100% P.S. Спасибо большое хозяину Тахиру за крутой салют в новогоднюю ночь !!!

We booked on booking.com, but when we arrived to check in we were told our room had been double booked and we were being downgraded. We had originally booked the room with private sauna, so were very disappointed that we did not have this facility, particularly as the communal sauna is only open for around 3 hours per day and we had an activity booked the same time so could not use it at all. The location is stunning and we had fun walking the various trails from the hotel. We had two activities booked which both collected from the hotel, but otherwise we had to get taxis to and from the town centre as there is no public transport to the hotel. Taxis cost around €20 each way, and reception can book them for you. Room was nice, but the light switches were quite difficult to use. We were also a bit cold and could not see a way to up the temperature. The bath was lovely, and came with bubble bath, robes and slippers which we made use of. Our view was of a car park, so that was not great. Breakfast was amazing, lovely views and they even had honey on the comb. You have to book the restaurant in advance, or make alternative plans (but keep in mind there are not really any other options around the hotel). Staff were friendly.

Hotel was in great shape and located center of the city. Many restaurants near the hotel. Breakfast was awesome.

Além disso, a falta de organização e limpeza nas mesas foi notória. Apesar de nos ser pedido para escolher um horário para o pequeno almoço, não havia controle efetivo, resultando em confusão e desordem no buffet. 2. **Falta de Limpeza e Comodidades no Quarto**: A falta de creme na casa de banho e a inexistência de limpeza da bancada durante os 7 dias de estadia foram decepcionantes. 3. **Acomodações Insuficientes para Roupas**: A maior dificuldade foi a ausência de um roupeiro adequado no quarto, especialmente desafiador para uma família de quatro pessoas com roupas de inverno volumosas. Apenas quatro ganchos na parede não eram suficientes para manter as roupas organizadas, resultando em uma desordem constante no quarto. Conclusão: Embora a localização do Hotel Santa Claus seja ideal, as falhas na organização do pequeno almoço, na limpeza e nas acomodações dos quartos comprometem a experiência de estadia. Recomendaria aos gestores do hotel uma revisão nestes aspectos para garantir que futuros hóspedes tenham uma experiência mais agradável e confortável.

A great hotel centrally located in Rovaniemi town centre. Easy walking distance (even in minus 19 degrees) to the local shops, restaurants and lots of activities. If you want to go to Santa Park, or Santa's Village, the bus stop is literally alongside the hotel, and comes regularly for just a few euros. We had a great stay, comfy beds, lovely staff and great full breakfast included. There was really nothing more we could have asked for.

The place is absolutely beautiful, only few steps from Ounasvaara Ski Resort. The Chalet was really good and cosy with amazing views from the windows and balcony. Our private Chalet had a second bedroom which we didn’t use as my daughter and myself preferred the first floor. We loved having our own sauna in the bathroom, great addition to relax and we enjoyed it sooo much! Breakfast was excellent with great selection, we loved the waffle maker! Staff were all helpful and pleasant. Location is excellent, not far from the airport, city centre, and Santa Claus Village. Overall, perfect Chalet, we would definitely recommend staying here, we had a great time!
