Staff were more than helpful, very friendly , The room was smart, clean and it HAD A BATHTUB which was amazing! Only an extra £5 to add on the gym and pool pass , which we didn't end up using but it was a bargain .

After booking a after party for my wedding as I was married abroad I had a fair few communication issues and to one point the village gave my personal details to another source who then contacted myself on my personal phone. When I quizzed village to why they had given my personal details out to another source they informed myself they was going to investigate this which I am still awaiting a response to the conclusion of this investigation. I don’t believe they care about this and have no intention of concluding this or realise the seriousness of this. I would not recommend these to another bride

Excellent customer service. Very helpful. Accessible room was really good and clean. Breakfast was very enjoyable with lots of choice. I would recommend the hotel as it was very good value for money and a great location for major routes. Plenty of parking and free over the weekend.

The staff was very friendly and polite. Easy check in and out. Breakfast was really nice ( just missing hot chocolate from the machine ) mentioned this to a member of staff and he went and got me one which I appreciated. Even though the Hotel was going through renovation it didn't disturb our weekend, so much so we are returning on the 25th October with my parents this time to celebrate our anniversary's and my mums 80th birthday.

The hotel is located in the outskirts of the city . Close to supermarket and main road that goes through hull . The gym facilities are excellent and used by lots of hull residents . The restaurant and bar area is large with lots of seating and tvs . Food was very good and highly recommended in the restaurant. Where the village fails is breakfast . Very poor selection of hot food . Limited on cold foods too . Just not good enough and had I been expected to pay extra for the breakfast I would have complained to manager . Staff are all very good and helpful . I would stay again but would not pay for breakfast

We needed to call a short notice emergency meeting for around 100-200 people and managed to get this arranged with the Village Hotel, Hull. The hotel was a great location, plenty of free parking for our attendees and the hotel staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful. I personally organised this meeting and my contact at the Hotel was Ling - nothing was too much trouble, she always answered her direct line, replied quickly to all my emails, helped arrange all the equipment we needed and was always polite, friendly and professional. Everything was set up for us when we arrived, just as we had requested. I can not honestly give this hotel enough praise and we will definitely be using them again for any future business meetings in this area.

Stayed at the village hotel Hull for a work event for 2 nights across 2 weeks. My first stay my room wasnt the best-shabby bathroom with paint peeling off the walls etc, so i requested a better room the second time i stayed. The room on the second occasion was far worse! Mould in the bathroom, shampoo down the wall, toothpaste mark by the sink, bits on the carpet and crumbs on the desk!! Disgusting! It was clear the room hadnt been cleaned! When i complained i was told the hotel was full so i couldnt be moved, i was offered nothing to compensate, they just said theyd let housekeeping know! The excuse was the hotel was undergoing refurbishments! That may explain things being dated but there is no excused for a dirty room. I couldnt wait to leave! Breakfast was also awful...coffee is disgusting...it basically forces you to pay for a costa from them!

I will start by saying the staff we met were all very friendly and helpful. And the pool was excellent. If we had known this hotel is going through a refurbishment of the bedrooms we wouldn’t have booked this hotel! Our family room 326 was very tired and badly needs refurbishment the bathroom tiles was loose and uneven,bathroom tiles moldy, walls covered in dirty marks, stains on the carpet, room not properly clean and dust on most surfaces. We ate in the onsite pub & grill the food wasn’t very good value for money and the food was bland and basic. Charged £9.99 for a children’s pizza not a whole pizza just two slices and a hand full of fries - total rip off. Wouldn’t consider this hotel again until the refurbishment is complete.
