The hotel is alongside a busy road but you are not bothered by it during sleeping. Our room had access to the balcony that you share with four other rooms. No problem as you can easily lock off your room via the electric blinds. Also quite handy to darken the room as the curtains are not very dark and don't close very good. The hotel room was sufficiently spacious and had sufficient seating, but the bathroom was really small. It didn't have a working ventilation so everything got very damp soon. Also because the warm water regulation was difficult. Also the elevator is quite small. The staff was a bit distant, though there to help. The hotel has a separate garage for bikes as we were informed beforehand through quite direct messages and responses beforehand. Apart from that there is not a lot of facilities the hotel offers other than cold drinks from a central fridge. No fridges or coffeemaker in the room. Simple amenities in the bathroom. The entourage of the hotel is all a bit faint and there is hardly anything that you will remember of this hotel after a while.

Ein sehr schönes Stopover. Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt. Die Süßen an der Rezeption waren sehr nett. Wir hatten ein ganz tolles Zimmer zum Hof mit einem großem Badezimmer. Das Bett war super bequem. Die Kellner in der Hotelbar sind unschlagbar. Witzig, schnell, aufmerksam, mit Spaß bei der Arbeit. Hier bist Du noch ein individueller Gast und keine Nummer. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend und reichlich. Auch hier sind die Mitarbeiter allesamt top. Gerne kommen wir wieder, sollten wir uns noch mal in Münster aufhalten. Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen.

Sehr sauber und ideal für Übernachtungen mit Kleinkind, da eine eigene Küche im Zimmer ist. Bett war super bequem, die Lage ein Traum. Dafür dass es zentral liegt, ist es dennoch sehr ruhig gewesen. Im Flur riecht es angenehm nachher Zitrone, macht seinem Namen also alle Ehre.

Manchmal sucht man kein Hotel, weil man in eine bestimmte Stadt will oder muss, sondern man fährt in eine Stadt, weil man ein bestimmtes Hotel kennenlernen will! So war es bei mir mit dem Hotel Mauritzhof. Im Nachhinein: gut so, denn ich war die meiste Zeit gesundheitlich angeschlagen, so dass ich im gemütlichen Münster gar nicht viel unternehmen konnte und stattdessen viel im weichen Luxusbett lag - also 'krank mit Stil' sozusagen... Mein Zimmer war sehr klein, so kenne ich das (vom Preis/Leistungsverhältnis) eigentlich nur aus London, aber es war ein Augenschmaus, wie harmonisch alles zusammenpasst und wie wunderschön es eingerichtet war - Ästhet*innen kommen voll auf ihre Kosten! Ich persönlich mag 'vorher- nachher' Geschichten und hätte gerne z.B. noch ein altes Foto im Treppenhaus vorgefunden, in dem noch ein bisschen der Geist der 1950er weht (sehr stilvoll in das neue Design integriert). Was war hier vorher - ein Amt? Vielleicht finde ich ja nächstes Mal ein DIN A5 Kärtchen in der Zimmermappe - noch mehr zur Geschichte des Hauses/Hotels :-).

We booked this hotel because we wanted to go to the Christmas Market in Münster, but we were actually too late in booking. This hotel is reasonably priced. It is a beautiful industrial hotel, with a unique hall. Between the hotel itself and the rooms is an open and colored space, which can be quite cold in winter. This does make the hotel unique in my opinion. The rooms were of high quality and there were nice personalized items in there. The shower was large and there was a rain shower. I really liked this hotel partly for these reasons. The breakfast was extensive, and the restaurant is also very large. There is room enough for everyone. There were also typical German things available. The people who work here are very friendly. Parking is paid, but also unclear. I didn't understand much about this myself, but it worked out fine. In fact, you pay the ticket for parking at the door of the adjacent supermarket. You can also park inside underground if you wish. I don't know how this is in the price of parking, or if it is the same. Highly recommended.

PPengguna TetamuSchön gelegenes Hotel am Aasee. Zu Fuß erreicht man in ca. 20 Minuten die Innenstadt mit ihren vielen Kirchen, Schloss, Botanischen Garten und natürlich ordentlich Shopping-Möglichkeiten. Von teuer am Prinzipalmarkt bis günstig in der großen Fußgängerzone.
Die Zimmer sind hübsch eingerichtet. Ich hatte ein geräumiges Einzelzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett gebucht. Zusätzlich gibt es einen bequemen Sessel mit Hocker, einen großen Kleiderschrank, Minibar, Wasserkocher für Tee oder Kaffeezubereitung. Das Bad ist mit einer Dusch-/Badewanne ausgestattet. Hier hält man es auch über einen längeren Zeitraum sehr gut aus. Der Fitness und Saunabereich sieht auch sehr ansprechend aus - diesen habe ich allerdings aufgrund der Hitze am letzten Wochenende nicht ausprobiert. In der Bar gibt es am Abend leckere Drinks, das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen, im Restaurant gibt es leckere Gerichte und zum Nachtisch (oder zwischendurch) große, aber auch kleine, Eisbecher oder Kuchen. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ich kann das Mövenpick in Münster nur empfehlen und würde es bei einem erneuten Aufenthalt wieder buchen.

Great hostel in the city center of Munster. This is a classic hostel and they had everything. They had locks in the room and in the main room, a good informative reception, good beds, spacious rooms, a great location and friendly staff. This was an excellent stay!

DDeparture15832278407We enjoyed our one night at Munster's Prizehotel - this was our first encounter with the chain, and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is colorfully decorated, with a welcoming staff and wonderful breakfast. On our arrival in the morning we were welcomed and while the room was not yet available, we were offered complimentary coffee (quite good). The location is excellent as it's located right outside of the train station. By the way, the hotel has an excellent soundproof protection - we didn't hear any commotion from the trains passing nearby.

We booked this hotel because we wanted to go to the Christmas Market in Münster, but we were actually too late in booking. This hotel is reasonably priced. It is a beautiful industrial hotel, with a unique hall. Between the hotel itself and the rooms is an open and colored space, which can be quite cold in winter. This does make the hotel unique in my opinion. The rooms were of high quality and there were nice personalized items in there. The shower was large and there was a rain shower. I really liked this hotel partly for these reasons. The breakfast was extensive, and the restaurant is also very large. There is room enough for everyone. There were also typical German things available. The people who work here are very friendly. Parking is paid, but also unclear. I didn't understand much about this myself, but it worked out fine. In fact, you pay the ticket for parking at the door of the adjacent supermarket. You can also park inside underground if you wish. I don't know how this is in the price of parking, or if it is the same. Highly recommended.

Das Viersternehotel liegt gegenüber dem Hauptbahnhof und man kann sein Auto fünf Minuten entfernt für 10€ pro Tag im Parkhaus Engelenschanze abstellen. Das Zimmer war klein, hatte aber Klimaanlage, Minibar, Dusche, Fernseher und war ruhig, da wir ein Zimmer zum Hinterhof hatten. Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht, da sich in der Nachbarschaft viele Bäckereien oder Essensgelegenheiten sind. Wir liefen einige Minuten zu einer netten kleinen Bäckerei Elshoff mit einer sehr netten Bäckereifachverkäuferin und leckeren Brötchen. Das Hotelpersonal an der Rezeption war freundlich. Ich hatte über Agoda gebucht.
