Taunton Ruishton (M5, J25)

I recently stayed at the Premier Inn Taunton Ruishton (M5 J25), and I was thoroughly impressed. The room was spotless, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. The TV had plenty of channels to keep me entertained, and the bathroom was immaculate, matching the high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. Arriving late in the evening, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, who were extremely helpful and made my check-in process seamless. The location of the hotel is also ideal—right off junction 25 of the M5 motorway, with plenty of amenities nearby, making it a convenient choice for travelers. One of the highlights of my stay was the tea and coffee facilities. Not only was everything well-stocked in the room, but I also appreciated that I could top up at any time from reception for free. Breakfast the next morning was superb—everything was fresh and expertly prepared by Charlie, the chef. I particularly loved the poached eggs, which were cooked to perfection. The hotel also offers an upgraded superfast Wi-Fi option, which I highly recommend for anyone who needs reliable connectivity. There’s nothing I would suggest for improvement at this hotel—it truly exceeded my expectations. A special mention must go to Sonja and Charlie, the mother-daughter duo in the restaurant, for their excellent service. Their warmth and professionalism added a personal touch that made my stay even more enjoyable.

Good efficient hotel, quiet rooms with good comfortable beds and large bath. Good service and efficient check in and check out with drop key card approach. Only downside was internet service was a bit patchy and crashed a couple of times but it came back after about 15-20 minutes.

Thank you to the team at the hotel for helping us out when we had trouble off the motorway on our way to Devon. The lady on reception made us feel welcome i think Sonia her name she was very helpful. the stay was great if unexpected but a great nights sleep made everything much more bearable. Thank you again and will see you again.

Well you would not think it from the outside and this premier inn lets say is a bit worn out from the exterior. BUT i cant say that for the bedroom and amazing breakfast. our room was lovely situated at the end of a corridor and nice and quite. the room was very clean and had all the basics we expected from Premier Inn. The man on reception was very helpful and i must give every praise to the lady in the kitchen those poached eggs were amazing. Tidy up the appearance outside and it would be a lovely hotel.

I was dreading the trip because of the family funeral. The Premier Inn Ruishton was brilliant. The staff are amazing so helpful and empathetic. Breakfast was amazing!! We had the fully cooked breakfast. It was fresh hot and delicious. Great value. The room was comfy. Don't expect luxury but it's functional and does exactly what it says on the tin! Great night's sleep. Easy access to M5 and A303. Highly recommend it! We ate at Miller and Carter which is right next door and you can walk there (short walk) on a path directly from the hotel. It was perfect for my requirements.

Overcharged, room dirty and very poorly fitted out. Nothing like the usual Standard in other Company Hotels.

Welcoming, relaxing venue and excellent customer service especially Nikki and the breakfast team.l would definitely recommended this venue.

We stayed here overnight to watch busted in Vivary park. The lady on reception was very helpful and very welcoming and while we were struggling to get a taxi back to the hotel in the night she even rang around and ensured we had a taxi back. Very accommodation, she deserves all the praise! Room was lovely and big, I’ve also got to commend the way staff handled a very heated domestic in one of the rooms on the morning we left. Considering they didn’t have security they handled it very calmly and professionally!

No mention that some rooms are near the laundry room so all night there was a loud humming/buzzing noise so got no sleep. We debated whether to leave in the middle of the night but had already paid for breakfast. Breakfast room is small so not accessible if you have a pram. The food was OK buy despite having to book a time to eat most things had run out and it took forever to be replenished. Mainly ate cereal and pastries so not worth the money.
