Great hotel. Good location for where we wanted to visit. Left my watch in the room and was able to retrieve it from the cleaning staff a couple of days later. Would recommend to all

Good location to enable access to the M1, Lovely room with nice touches, bottled water, crisps and biscuits.

Wish I didn’t even have to rate this hotel a one star. I came for my sisters wedding at 30 weeks pregnant and the day before broke my shoulder falling down the steps outside the reception. Received zero help from the staff and the manager is absolutely awful! Filled in wrong information in the accident form and when I tried to correct them they just simply said they ‘will not change anything’ again I was 30 weeks pregnant when this happened and I ended up in a+e in Luton for 5 hours in constant pain. We we had a room at the back of the hotel and didn’t even get offered a room closer to the reception when I came back in a sling and broken left shoulder. Not once did I have a chat with any member of staff about what had happened in person, it casually got brushed off as if nothing had happened when it could of been the worst trip of my life but luckily everything was fine with my baby. Really disappointed with this hotel in every way. Chips on the floor and not cleaned for 3 days whilst we stayed. Our room didn’t get cleaned at all. The window was broken and we were on the ground floor near the back so couldn’t close the window at all. Stains on the carpets and just really outdated. Staff are just rude and unapproachable. Management is absolutely vile. Definitely would never ever recommend this hotel. Wish I would have slept in the car at 30 weeks pregnant and never stayed at this hotel.

Sat 2 - Sun 3 Aug 24 Went with a coach trip for Blechley Park Was not looking forward to our stay, however, previous reviews we read were proved to be BS in most cases Room was clean and bright with a decent size TV. Bit of a treck from reception but it is a big place. Comfortable beds with spare quilts and blankets if you're cold. Bathroom a little small but with a large shower. Best quality bronco (toilet) paper ever experienced in a hotel. Bit of a stain on the carpet but you can't put new carpet down every time something is spilt on it and you only walk on it anyway. Buffet breakfast was OK, decent bacon but don't go for fried eggs. Good continental and fresh fruit too. Buffet style dinner was good, three dinner choices with choice of starter and dessert. Bar looked OK but we didn't use it. Bar meals are available. Pleasant grounds for an after dinner stroll in good weather. We heard no noise in the night, it was very peaceful. In all, a pleasant stay. If we are to return to the area we will use this hotel again.

Stayed for two nights in the Aubrey Park Hotel. The room was quite spacious and comfy enough. Only minus was the wall-to-wall carpet; somekind of hardwood floor would be better. The hotel is a maze; many turns and stairs up and down before reaching the room. The breakfast and dinner were good; very nice food. Location was also quite nice, quiet surroundings.

Nicest people on reception. I have been to the restaurant a few times. But just recently my motorbike broke down near to the hotel and I couldn't believe how helpful the staff were. This might seem to be a strange review but sometimes you find out how good a service provider can be when you need them most.

I booked an Afternoon Tea for 7 of us ladies to celebrate my sisters upcoming wedding. There weee 7 of us cousins and sisters who wanted to do something nice. At the time of calling in to book - I was asked to pay for the whole thing up front. Couldn’t leave a deposit. I was told the menu for teas and afternoon tea would be emailed as I mentioned that 3 of us would need the vegetarian option. Nothing was sent. Emailed them still nothing and the evening before I sent a message via their online form to confirm 3 veggie options. On arrival there was confusion when we asked for 3 vegetarian for the afternoon tea. The Tea options were not the same as their options available on their website. They didn’t even offer a Tea menu. The waiting staff were in panic mode and initially I was blamed for not letting them know. When I asked for a refund - a manager came to speak to me. In the end we agreed to stay and were offered a round of complimentary drinks but were told no cocktails available. The crockery was cracked. I had to ask for it to be changed. The bread on the sandwiches were stale. And the Prosecco I paid for was not served until much later when I reminded them It wasn’t until 45 mins into us arriving did we get served. The staff were extremely nice but overall - I would NEVER book an Afternoon Tea and advise others not to. I should have gone to my usual Sopwell House but thinking I would try a different place I tried here. Big mistake

Doors constantly being slammed all evening by other people staying here. Fire exits being used by kids old enough to know better, running up and down fire escape stairs so they can go out to the grass and play football very loudly. Its 9pm and still the doors slam and the voices are loud coming from other rooms. Its like a war zone ! I've written this just before I go to reception and request to be moved to a room as far away from this one as possible, so I might actually get some rest before another long day at work tomorrow. The room itself is basic to say the least. The window opens about 6 inches because there is some safety device attached which is not helpful in the hot weather. There is only one power socket, which is on the opposite side of the room from the bed so I wont have my phone beside me as usual to use as an alarm clock, and I have to be selective in what electrical gadgets get charged and when. Looks great on the internet but don't be fooled.
