Just back from a six night award stay via the Hyatt affiliation. This was by far one of the most relaxing, enjoyable hotel experiences I've ever had. Everything exudes quality without being pretentious. From reception to the team in the three restaurants, the service was impeccable, unobtrusive, and authentic. The decor is contemporary and understated. Dined twice in the gourmet restaurant and can't speak highly enough about creativity of the chef and his team, and the professionalism of the front of the house team. Similar experiences at the bistro and at breakfast. The view of Mont Blanc from my room was stunning. There's very little to the town, but Megeve is only ~20 mins away, and Chamonix ~30 or so. I'm glad I had a car.... I can't wait to go back ...

Booked in for a two-night stay in October. Everything about this hotel is perfect, the stunning location with alpine views, the friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us, the stunning decor throughout, the amazing room, the spa, the bakery, the restaurant - it is all incredible. The attention to detail sets this hotel apart from other 5 star hotels. Staff waiting with umbrellas for us, the exquisite pastries delivered to our room (with a recipe should we want to attempt to recreate at home!), bottles of water in our car, I could go on. The room was classy, we had a view overlooking the mountains which was well worth it. The bathroom was lovely, like a mini spa area, and the automatic toilet was a revelation….!! The on-site bakery makes all the bread and pastries that are served at breakfast and throughout the day and they were excellent. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough, we will treasure our stay forever and hope to return soon. Thank you to all the staff who were so kind and friendly and made our stay memorable.

We were on a 12 day vacation in the French Alps and had a very special 4 days at the Armancette . Everything from the front desk staff, the meals (at both restaurants), the SPA, the gym, the concierge/shuttle, and the cleaning staff, were all exceptional. We felt very "known" by all we interacted with. What a lovely property and experience!

Absolutely fantastic 2-night stay at Armancette Hotel in Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce! One of the best hotels in France and service wise one of the best hotels we stayed at ever Pros: -Service was phenomenal - from the very moment we arrived to the minute we left, we were felt extremely grateful to the staff for such warm and friendly service. Extremely attentive and professional - small gift for our baby, help parking car and luggage, advice and help with bookings, always friendly. -Spa: well sized spa - swimming pool with breathtaking views of mountains, fresh mountain air and green valleys. The swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi’s and relaxation area were great -Rooms and facilities: keeping within wooden classic style on the outside, on the inside extremely well furnished, modern and sleek. Rooms are spacious, meticulously furnished and a terrace with a view of the mountains -Food: fresh bakery on the ground floor , breakfast was delicious. Staff are very well trained, attentive, service was spot on. Delicious French toast ! Cons: -none really (one minor point, gap between mattress on bed, prefer large king bed mattress instead)

My husband and I spent the weekend at L’Armancette. We loved every moment of our time at this beautiful hotel and with the lovely staff. The intent to delight is evident in small and large details alike ranging from giving all rooms balconies to the gorgeous pool to the eager-to-care-for-you attitude of each staff member to the exquisite cuisine. It is the perfect mixture of heartfelt warmth and luxury. We highly recommend L’Armancette for your next getaway!

Amazing stay at Armancette. The hotel is small, but that’s what makes it so nice. At least, for us. They have great facilities, a small but beautiful spa, lovely restaurant and cafe’s, (the homemade bread is so good!), but most of all, they have an outstanding staff. Our stay felt cozy and personal. It’s certain details that made Armancette stand out for us. The personal greetings when arriving back to the hotel from a daytrip. And when our daughter was not feeling well, they took care of medicine, which was great. But our favorite part was Christmas morning when Santa arrived and had a personalized gift for our children. So attentive and thoughtful. Thank you Armancette for a memorable Christmas with our friends! We absolutely loved it.

The hotel is really cosy with comfortable beds, rooms with nice space and beautiful design/decoration. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The restaurants (both) have very nice atmosphere and the food is very delicious. Breakfast is also delicious, fresh and good quality of ingredients. This is really unique small luxury hotel in a beautiful region.

Immaculate service from the minute we did our booking, to our arrival, throughout our stay at the hotel and even during our departure. The staff went extra miles, help us booked the activities, and even arranged our luggage to be sent to the train station after our day at Auguille du Midi. When we reach the train station the staff who drove us even brought us in to show on which platform we have to wait for our train and even gave us tips on how to fully enjoy the journey. When we were at the bakery and restaurant, the staff took the time to explain all the things we needed to know about the food and pastries they served. For us these alone were enough to make us feel extremely happy with our stay. Of course the hotel was amazing, the room was nothing short of spectacular but the service? it was truly the most happiest bits during our stay.

You may be weighing up other luxury resorts in the area, and considering your options. We have stayed in so many hotels in this area, and return to the Armancette whenever we are in this part of France, over and above all others now. You will struggle to find any hotel that can match the authenticity, attention to detail and genuine hospitality that is offered here in abundance. Hand crafted, pine scented rooms that exude luxury, decadence and comfort that are nestled in a village that has a soul and a heart. We actually feel 'part of the village' rather than just passing tourists, and part of their family - the warmth goes way beyond five star service and care. The most magnificent views, the nature and serenity all around and the gorgeous swimming pool and spa area combines to create a really special stay. We enjoyed the many sporting activities available in the area, it was so fun for our teens for our summer stay (we love the winter stays here too) Maurizo and team really took such good care of us, everyone did. We enjoyed the candlelit dinner in the restaurants, and a morning swim with the birds. It is a place of well being and recuperation, and I can thoroughly recommend a stay here if you are looking for eleven hours of uninterrupted sleep in the mountain air, wonderful walks in the surrounding trails and forests, great massages and some time to sit in the sunshine and just be. Time literally stops here, and the hospitality really is second to none. We are busy discussing a winter stay now, as we love the place at Christmas. Such a magical spot on earth and one we really look forward to returning to. Thank you for a wonderful stay to the GM Damian and all of his team.
