Stone Willow Inn

Clean, spacious comfortable and quiet. Right on point for the price. It is clear that this location is in the process of being rejuvenated. They are definitely worthy of your business. I will definitely be returning next time we are going to the theatre in Stratford. I don't want a lot of amenities and hate paying for bells and whistles I don't need. There was a microwave in our room which shows they are listening. The bathroom light is by the door. Weird but so what? I would have given 5 stars if there had been more lamps and more comfortable reading chairs.

I'm giving this an average review. It's under new management and recently reopened. So it seems like there's some growing pains. That being said I would stay again. Pros: -Bed was comfy -Room was clean -Room was large -The hotel is small and quiet -They have a coffee pot and fridge/freezer in the room. -The TV worked fine, I didn't have to sign into apps to watch anything. If you have used a Roku or Firestick you'll be fine. It took me a few minutes but nothing outrageous. -Not far from Stratford -Good deal. Cons: -There is no microwave, if that's a deal breaker. -The restaurant is not open. Thats a bummer. -There is no place to get water, ice or snacks onsite. Unless you use the tap. -If you read there was an ATM/ money exchange that was previous. It looked like there was a room but it was dark and not open. -Bathtub is slippery so be careful. Unknown: -If there is an elevator. I didn't see one and was on the second floor. So if stairs aren't your thing make sure you call and get a room in the first floor. - If they will reopen the restaurant Overall: -Check in and out was fast. -I took my small air fryer so I had a way to heat up leftovers and make my breakfast. If your doing this purchase the liners and silicone dishes you can put right in there. -The air in the room works it's connected to the wall thermostat. That took a few to figure out. I had to push the reset button on the plug of the wall unit to turn it on and then I adjusted it by the thermostat on the wall. -I couldn't find a switch for the bathroom but there was a timer in there. I'm not sure if that was for the heat lamp or for the actual bathroom light. The only reason I question this is because I saw the same timer at a bathroom in a restaurant. -There was staining on one of the towels in my room but it was not that big of a deal. They use white towels so it's easy to see. -For all the people complaining about the TVs it really was not that difficult to figure out. look at the back of the TV if it's plugged into HDMI 1 or 2 just change the input setting of the TV for that. -I was supposed to have a balcony room that was what the deal was when I booked online, I did not get put in a balcony room. It was not that big of a deal, I did have really big windows in my room that open. For me I felt more comfortable not being in a room with a balcony. - For the people who said they had bugs, I did have 1 ant but I had my window open. Overall you get what you pay for.
