Hotel Saint-Raphaël dengan Spa

We moved out of another hotel and was desperately looking for another place to stay. We were lucky to have found this small hotel just of the main busy street, yet walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Rooms and linen were clean. Fresh white towels provided. Vanessa our host went out of her way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. She offered us a room (last minute) exactly fitting to our needs. She did her best to organise suitable spa times and made some useful recommendations on restaurants. The quaint little breakfast with freshly pressed juice exceeded our expectations. Thank you very much Vanessa for making this a memorable experience.

The hotel is nicely secluded and quiet. Easily accessible with both underground and surface parking. The staff is very friendly. Adequate attention is paid to reception and explanation. But. The hotel is outdated. Unrepaired damage can be found in many places. The interior is outdated. And also the carpet, apart from being from another era, is dirty and worn. The curtains dilapidated and the interior dated. No refrigerator in the room. The swimming pool is pleasant. But unfortunately the glass wall is not very nice. A little more paving would also have been better in our opinion. Distributing towels at the pool would also have been a plus instead of distributing them in the room. Furthermore, anno 2024 a perfect network in terms of wifi is a must. This score was simply 0. Ditto for 4G/5G. Long story short. Renovate this building. Modernize. Raise the price and in the long run then both customers and staff will be winners.

Nous avons séjourné seulement une nuit avec 2 repas et petit déjeuner mais nous retiendrons cette adresse. Petit hôtel qui a du charme, bien situé au calme parmi les pins. Le restaurant très bien avec des plats de qualité. Si vous prenez la demi pension et que les 2 entrées et 2 plats ne conviennent pas sachez que vous pouvez choisir sur le second menu sous réserve de payer un supplément (2€/entrée/pers et 4€/plat/pers). Boissons non incluses. Petit déjeuner copieux. Un bar disponible avec des cocktails très bien fait! (Tarifs de n'importe quel bar/hôtel entre 13 et 15€) Parking assez grand avec 5,5€ de frais par nuitée. Deux piscines propres et agréables avec transats. Le seul bémol reste ce point car il est dommage qu'elle ne soit pas rénovée légèrement (trace de ciment au fond qui vire au vert, manque carrelage). Malgré tout cela n'a pas gâché le charme! Chambre spacieuse et équipée d'un balcon avec petite table et chaise. Voir peut être pour ôter la moquette qui se salie rapidement au vu du nombre de passage. Coffre et frigo disponible gratuitement, un plus. Fontaine à eau accessible à la réception. Nous reviendrons c'est certain pour tester le spa et venir également avec les enfants.

We spent a lovely peaceful week here. We had a double cosy room which was big enough and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. The aircon was really good and it was a relief to come back to such a cool room after the August heat. The room had a coffee machine, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, fridge and heated towel rail. We swam in the pool every day, this was clean and a perfect temperature. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit out of town but there is a bus stop just outside, you can get a bus for 1.5 euro to the centre of town by the railway station or the hotel can arrange taxis. We enjoyed breakfast by the pool each day, enormous buffet with hot and cold food which even included macaroons. The only downside was the mosquitos that were bad by the pool in the evening, take insect repellent with you.
