We’ve been to some superb hotels around the world but I can’t remember being made more welcome from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The hotel is just inside the old city and you drive into the courtyard, are immediately greeted and your car valeted. Paulinho has to be the nicest and most knowledge guys I’ve ever met at a hotel and we’ve been to a lot! Immediately made us welcome, gave us an immediate orientation to the area so we are able to make full use of exploring the area while on our short stay. Recommending restaurants and once back from exploring ringing up so we could get a table in prime position. Breakfast was in an amazing setting and very high standard. We will be back for longer!

All personnel are very welcoming and do everything they can to help you enjoy your stay. Their offer full breakfast with great hot and cold options; and you can enjoy it while contemplating one of the most beautiful views over Plaza Mayor (main square). Furthermore, location is unbeatable. Overall, I love staying here year after year; I already consider them part of my extended family!

While the hotel is very centrally located, it is quite disappointing for a couple of reasons. 1. The rooms have the bare minimum. No coffee machine, no hot water kettle, not even a box of tissues. There was a bottle of water but only one glass to drink it from. 2. The booking was for a double bed on our honeymoon but we got twin beds. When I inquired, we were told there’s no availability. But we booked a double room? So I didn’t really understand the purpose. 3. Noise travels in the hotel and you can hear footsteps and even plumbing at odd hours.

I recently spent two nights at this hotel. It's well located, literally a one minute walk from the grand central square. And close to everything else you may want to see in the old city centre. I was greeted by the owner who was super friendly and welcoming. I spoke Spanish but he told me that he could speak English. I had a single room on the 4th floor, back side of the building. I would have maybe gone for a double front facing but it was the weekend and this was all that was available. The room was small but ok for me. There was a balcony facing a big interior area behind neighbouring buildings. I would have sat out there if it wasn't so cold at the time of my visit. The room was well heated. 4th floor wifi didn't work (I informed the owner of this) but I could pick up a weak signal from the floor below. There's no breakfast included but there are plenty of options nearby. Cafes, bakeries and restaurants. There are also a couple of sets of tables and chairs in reception where you can sit and could bring your take away food. To sum up, it's not particularly fancy but you're not visiting this impressive city in order to sit in your room. For me, the approach of the friendly owner/manager really made a difference to my stay.

Apartamento pequeño y céntrico, ya que estaba al lado de las calles Toro y Zamora, cerca de las tiendas, del Carrefour Market, cafeterías y a unos pasos de la Plaza Mayor. El estudio individual fue muy completo y bien equipado, con TV, sofá, cama, baño, pequeña cocina con placa, microondas, con cubiertos, platos, vasos, sartenes, pequeñas ollas. Muy buenos armarios y estantes para poder depositar comida llegado el caso. La cama me pareció cómoda y cerca tenía estanterías para dejar cosas. Respecto el baño pequeño pero funcional, lo suficiente para ase**** y todo lo demás. No obstante, los aspectos que menos me gustaron del apartamento fueron los siguientes: La habitación daba al patio de luces y le faltaba iluminación, y al encender la luz, había momentos que molestaba. El sofá para ver la TV fue incomodo y no era confortable. La climatización aunque funcionase, era algo confuso el ajustarla, a pesar de disponer instrucciones. El sonido de los motores y de la nevera hicieron que costase más descansar. Aunque no tuviera problemas en el acceso y todo correcto, siempre se echó de menos alguien que estuviese a ciertas horas, en caso de incidencias o problemas, a pesar que hubiera un teléfono de contacto. Concluyendo, el apartamento está muy bien equipado y la ubicación es excelente, pero reconozco que no me gustase el estudio individual. No sé que tal hubieran estado las otras habitaciones pero no me gustó mucho el estudio individual.

La cama bastante cómoda. Estábamos 2 adultos y un bebé en una habitación familiar. Las almohadas me parecieron cómodas (claro, que usé 2 para dormir). Está muy céntrico, tiene parking asociado por 13€.
