We decided to stop in Salinas on NYE on our travel and booking was fast and easy. Our check in was quick and our stay was going extremely pleasant - clean spacious room, nice front desk employees, AM breakfast. Our main issue started in the morning after we got breakfast. Considering check out wasn’t until noon, we decided to take a quick nap after breakfast at 8am. Within 8am-10am, a housekeeper kept opening the door without announcing. This happened 3 times, including one of the times when my partner was showering. This was extremely inappropriate and we felt forced to leave around 10:30am as we kept having someone constantly not respect our privacy and created an unsafe environment. I informed the front desk upon check out and requested to speak with a manager yet have still not received a call. I would not recommend unless you enjoy knowing someone could walk into your privacy whenever they decide.

住了5天感覺還不錯，有停車場，有Wi-Fi，有空調，房間裝修比較老式，但是設備用着正常，沒有看起來舊舊的感覺。打掃的也挺乾淨。床單換的很勤。 早上有早餐，我定的是含早的，但是也沒人查，吃幾次也沒人管。就是每天都是那一點東西，第三天就膩了。24h冷飲、咖啡、冷熱水可以喝。不用花錢買水。 對麪就是麥當勞，不過沒啥人去，感覺大家還是去隔壁的in-n-out，確實好吃。推薦！ 晚上8-9點在外麪也挺安全，沒啥亂七八糟的人。 圖文無關

I made a reservation to stay at the Quality Inn in Salinas, CA; located at 144 Kern St | Salinas, CA, 93905, US. Our arrival to the hotels started off horrible. My family and I could not check in due to no one manning the front desk, the hotel lobby was closed. We waited 40 minutes for someone to come out and open the front lobby, where there are signs stating 24 hours services. I would also like to add we were not the only family waiting to be checkin in. Our arrival time was 1:30am. When the receptionist did come out she stated if her boyfriend wasn't parked out front in his car, and saw us in front of the lobby she wouldn't have come out. it was cleary visible she was woken from her sleep. I did call on Wednesday to let the front desk know I would be checking in late. It was the most awful feeling to wait out front of a lobby not knowing how to check in. I had called the front desk using the number listed on the window with no answer. I had never experienced this before. My family was not at ease once in the room. there were : hug stains on the floor the only chair in the room also was stained I found chewed blue gum on the floor. there were a trail of black ants on the only counter the beds looked like they had been laid in The door leading outside wasn't secure the tub would not drain. there was also brown stains on the walls to the restroom the mini fridge was corroded and didn't not close well the tv did not work My daughter had vomited a little and I had cleaned her face with a hand towel. That dirt towel was placed on the floor of the bathroom area to be picked up and the hotel cleaning staff hung the dirty vomited towel back up! My family and I ended up checking out 1 day early due to the disgusting circumstances. When I was checking out the lady at the front desk was the rudest hostess i have ever encountered. i told her why i was checking out however she didn't care for the news and did not apologize for the inconvenience. She had the poorest customer service. I also asked for the supervisor's name and she would not give it to me.

Excellent accommodations. The room was spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. All staff members were friendly and professional. There is a large, clean, and well-equipped workout room and a coin-op laundry room with washer and dryer.

Had to ring a bell to try to get someone to appear at the front desk to check us in. Had to ring at check out as well. Guy behind the front desk said he couldn’t split our bill for the two rooms and wasn’t able to give us a receipt for the charges. The king bed in my room had a strip of a sheet across the bed that didn’t cover my feet or my shoulders. Bed was lumpy and the pillow was a rock hard square. Didn’t use the duvet as it was covered in blood stains. The breakfast was a warm Sunny D, Bimbo muffins from 7-11 and a Costco granola bar all in a brown paper bag handed to me by the guy at the front desk after I rang the bell to summon him. This is a motel with the door facing an outside walkway and parking lot. After lying down for the night, I thought I’d check the large window facing the outside walkway. It was unlocked. All night long I got to listen to the sound of clacking high heels going back and forth in front of my room. At checkout I saw the woman, heels, jacket and g-string and that’s all. In addition, a man in the parking lot screaming obscenities at 5:30 in the morning. Nope. Just nope.
