I do not recommend this place. The towels were stained with blood and dirty. The jacuzzi is a scam, it doesn't work at all and it's just cold water. No streams or jets either.

The room was dirty. The staff didn't care about everything we asked for. Breakfast was poor and too crowded. This hotel should have 1 star

So close to the sea! Safe area. Feels more like an apartment than a hotel room

For the price paid, the value is exceptional. The location is safe, 5 metres from the beach (about as close as a hotel can get) and a few minutes walk from supermarkets, restaurants and other amenities. The breakfast as is always the case with Rede Andrade hotels is varied and sizable. This hotel branch is much nicer than two others I stayed at in Salvador with a comfortable lobby area and outside seating courtyard. Though my room was misrepresented as "an apartment" when it is a normal room, I was fine with it given the low price paid. I had a sea view and the room contained the necessary features, i.e. fridge, TV, hot shower, ac, and towels/soaps. The WiFi was terrible though with no signal at all in the room. Aside from the latter, everything was great as were the staff. Would recommend 100%

I stayed at three hotels in the chain, but without a doubt Castanheira (street) was the best, service, cleanliness, kitchen, reception were very attentive!!!!!!

Well located, clean and organized. Open TV has no signal, there is no cable TV.

Good hotel, good location, beautiful view

The location is top-notch. Not far from Barra, Itapuãn, and Rio Vermelho. The rooftop terrace with its beautiful view is simply fantastic, and so is the staff.

Although it was a quick trip, the accommodation was very pleasant. The location is close to the sea and the atmosphere is very family-friendly.

I always stay at this hotel and it is well worth the cost-benefit. Good value, the location is in front of the sea, has a breakfast and friendly staff. Special mention goes to the maid Sandra, who is always cheerful and happy, leaving the room spotless.
