Hotel Sacher is famous in Austria. When I was doing guides before, I saw more of Sacher in Vienna. Less about Salzburg. I really wanted to experience this hotel during this trip, and considering the cost (Salzburg is cheaper), I booked Sacher in Salzburg.
The front desk of the hotel was very friendly. She knew that I was Chinese and chatted with me in simple Chinese. She said that she had studied Chinese for a year, but she almost gave it back to the teacherš. After check-in, he personally took me to the room and told me that the cake could be purchased from the store downstairs or ordered at the cafĆ© for afternoon tea. As for the taste of the cake, I am a heavy chocolate dessert lover and I like it (the cream on the side can relieve the greasiness).
It should be noted that the hotel will provide an afternoon tea and two sacher cakes in the afternoon [laughing R]. In the morning, I felt that the single buffet was a bit expensive, so I chose room service for more than half the price, and the result was amazing. The coffee comes directly from the pot, and the brewed taste is really strong. Not to mention the yogurt jam, it is my favorite every time I go to Europe. It is really good to have breakfast facing the window, and it does not affect my mood on rainy days.
The hotel's corridors and room layout are very unique, and each room is different. All in all, this sacher is really good if Salzburg occasionally gets corrupted.

1. The hotel forgot to clean our room when we left the room at 2:30pm with the cleaning notification turned on.
We have to wait another 30minutes at the lounge bar when we got back at 10:00pm late at night.
2. The electric kettle we requested from the hotel is with a lot of water stain. in such case i didn't drink the water boiled from the kettle.
3. Overall the reception's service attitude is good.
4. the suite doesn't have the view which cannot be told from the booking info page.
5. the cleaner staff forgot to refill some drinking water when finished cleaning the room. no water to drink.

The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the central train station and bus station which is convenient if you are travelling to other places for example, Konigssee and Hallstatt. It is a bit further from the main attractions of Salzburg, around 15 minutes walk. There is no door for the shower and there is a see through glass between the bedroom and shower, not too private if you are travelling with someone else. Shower and toilet are separated. There is an electronic blinds available outside the window, which keep a bit privacy from the room to the outside. Drinking water is only available on the ground floor outside the reception. Reception is helpful but compared to my previously experience, doesnāt feel very welcoming. There are restaurants and a 24-hours kiosk store around the hotel.

The location is good for me, as it is conveniently situated just a 5-minute walk from the main train and bus terminal. This made it incredibly easy for me to explore the city and access transportation without any hassle.
The area surrounding the hotel is vibrant, with plenty of shops and eateries nearby, adding to the overall convenience of the stay.
The room itself was decent, offering a comfortable stay. However, the only downside was the lack of a table in the room, which would have been useful for working or dining.

3 mins walk to train station. Nearby got shopping mall and grocery store. Spacious room. Bathroom a bit old style however the plus point is having heater inside the bathroom. WIFI connection not user friendly sometimes gets disconnected. No drinking water inside the room. Have to take it from the lobby. Got hair dryer. No slipper.

Location: I like that bus stops are very near the hotel to go to the popular spots in the city. Far enough from the crowd but not too far from necessities such as supermarket (Billa) and a very good restaurant (Fuxn).
Room: I am completely supportive of hotels not supplying disposables. Be prepared to have your own toiletries!
Only trouble I had was the curtains in my room 110 didnāt close all the way and the balcony was open to occupants of the neighboring rooms. Had to find lots of ways to keep my room covered!
Complimentary bottle of water is per stay, not per day.
I see people complaining about the lighting in the rooms, but I think itās the theme of the hotel and I personally like the style.
Cleanliness: very satisfied with the daily housekeeping standards!

The room is clean and tidy!! However, no toothbrush or toothpaste will be provided.

I got walked in on around 9.15am as i was getting changed by hotel staff- they did not knock and it wasnāt near or after check out time - wasnāt impressed!! I checked out on time. - then my room should have been checked/cleaned.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They provided the clear parking instruction by letting me know there will be free parking on the street during the weekend. I requested a connected room and they provided me what I wanted. The heating system for towel in the bathroom is a plus. However, the light in the room is a bit dark. It will be better if it is brighter.

The room was amazing and spacious. Unfortunately the room with Mountain View were limited hence unable to book for that room. Anyway, the staff were friendly and it serves great breakfast. The distance to the nearest train station is somewhat on the down side as there were little to no street lights went walking back from the train station. Overall, I would say itās a pleasant experience staying in this hotel and will consider again for my next trip.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful experience in this B&B. The room was clean, which echoed with all the reviews here. You could experience the passion and perseverance of the owners in keeping everything not only neat and tidy, but amazingly dustless and spotless! If you look at the mirror, and the tissue box in the toilet, the level of shine and reflection is at its top! The bed was big and comfortable. The design of the room was modern. Tea and coffee are available inside the room.
Breakfast comprised of a wide variety of fresh fruits chopped into small cubes and delicately put into little cocktail glasses, all sorts of bread, yoghurt, ham, spreads. Alex would welcome all customers warmly with offerings of coffee, tea and eggs that were made by him. I saw on reviews that he made perfect eggs and it was really true! The fried eggs that I ordered were prepared with crispy edges, what a morning delight!
All the details and passion ( and the amount of time and dedication one can imagine) that this family put into this B&B deserve a 5-star rating. From its hardware to attitude, this is the best I have ever experienced as a tourist.

č”锾é®JoaLooking at the high-net commentary, I finally saw the charm of the front desk elder sister, warm and cheerful, humorous and intimate. One seems to have settled the hotel's work. I saw that we had arranged two large rooms and introduced the room personally. In-house facilities and usage, proud to tell you that these functions are made in Germany, not only send a gift bag in each room, but also tell you that all the drinks in the refrigerator are free, and the service attitude is the best in the entire Eastern European line. However, there is no air conditioning in the room. It is estimated that the old building cannot be installed. Only Dyson's fan, the room we stayed in is still a bit stuffy! There are three large windows in the friend's room, which is well ventilated and more comfortable than us!

A cup in the room was not cleaned properly but room service changed the dirty cups and more coffee and tea and a 1ltr glass bottle of water the next day. Soundproofing is not so good. We got the room next to the lifts and we could hear people outside very loudly. A safety locker for keeping your important things. The TV you can reach to the back for HDMI but no casting your mobile for YouTube and stuff. Chromecast won't work with their wifi.

BBenny Hon ChungThis hotel's location is excellent. It is about 15 minutes walk to the old town centre and 10 minutes to the railway station. The meeting point for local tours to Hallstatt and other places is just around the corner. The reception staff are always attentive and polite. They have greeted me with a smile whenever they saw me. The restaurant Mirabelle's Italian cuisine is one of the best I have ever tasted. The staff there are very welcoming and caring. The hotel's room service delivered very good food at a reasonable price too. The room is of a good size and the bed is comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the noise of the vehicle clearing rubbish bins. It always woke me up before six in the morning. So choose the rooms on the garden side if there is a choice.

GGuest UserThe bus to Salzburg is only 15 minutes away, but there are several buses going at the same time, and Hellbrunn or Cable Kata are both on the mountain, so if you have a timetable to go there, you can stay in the hotel, especially if you travel from Take the Flix or Leo bus in Prague or elsewhere. This is the direction from the station to the city, so you can find accommodation earlier because the accommodation is earlier than the city. The staff are friendly and it rains a lot in Salzgan, so I rented an umbrella from the hotel and used it well. The disadvantage is that it is air-conditioned, so I chose this type of accommodation, which is usually not what we think it is, but a fan-like device.
Please note that air conditioning is installed. However, it rained on the day we went, so that air conditioning was not needed. Opening the window and blowing the wind is much cooler than opening the air conditioner. You can open the window, because there are no mosquitoes, it doesn't matter. In addition to the disappointment with the air conditioning, the price is cheaper than the accommodation in Salzburg, so you can take the bus.

GGuest UserThe room was very comfortable, very close to the station, just a short walk, the heating was sufficient, the sound insulation was good, and the English communication was no problem. Local accommodations need to be paid separately (for a total of 3.1) for taxes and fees.

1. Make sure they send you a pin code to enter the hotel at least 3 days before or else keep emailing and calling before you reach. There is no workers all automated if you reach and have no code to enter you are stranded! Yes there is a phone to call but Im not sure why the phone doesnāt work properly!! I called 7 times only to 1 time they pick up. And finally after waiting in the cold for 30 mins they let me know the pin code to enter. Its very hard to contact the hotel maybe because im not using local phone number. Contacted trip and they themselves couldnāt contact them in time. According to the hotel, there should be an email from them with instructions and code.
2. Yes, I do love the concept of having no one to check in but at least leave like an ipad or a screen for guest to check and contact???
3. Rooms were nice, blinds were automatic. Clean and have smart tv. They do have elevators thank god.
Besides the āPIN numberā enter check in, its all good.

Aam HoHotel location is quite convenient within walking distance from metro. There is a bus stop near the hotel too.
The main entrance is slightly away from the main road so actually not easy to spot.
We checked in quite late and there is no one at the counter which we find it a bit unusual though we could hear someone talking.
Overall the staff is fine, willing to explain where we could go for sightseeing, which bus stop has the ticket machine, even suggest us to buy a 24hr ticket so we saved the hassle to keep buy bus/metro tickets.

AAnonymous UserThe bed, blanket and pillow are very comfortable.
I had a very good sleep.
However, there is no privacy because there is no cover up curtain for every bed.
And also no in room locker provider.
Additionally, the bathroom does not have an air vantilator, I barely can't breathe.
Beside than that, over all are good.
The entire system is just like a hotel.
