Hotel Wolf

Absolutely adored this hotel - reception Staff were superb, single room was lovely and it was in the perfect position to explore all of Salzburg. Special note must go to the breakfast which was wonderful. Hotel Is right in mozarrplatz which does have building work at the moment but this is due to finish in July. Residentzplatz is just around the corner and where I spent every evening with a beer people watching as the sun went down - perfect! Surrounded by very good restaurants but particularly sto benne which is an Italian right next door and wokman which is a Vietnamese very close by. Loved everything about Salzburg!!

Excellent location in center of Altstadt Salzburg,. A charming hotel with a wonderfully attentive staff. Great breakfast included with the room. Within walking distance to all the main Salzburg sites. Highly recommend.. Very clean room.

What can I say about this hotel, FANTASTIC in every way. Lovely family run hotel, could not do enough for you. Room small but adequate, very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, cereal, cold meats, bread rolls, fresh fruit,eggs. Best coffee I had. Staff very very nice, always smiling. Hotel was very central to just about all the major attractions, within 10 mins walk. Wonderful place to stay, will be back if I return to Salzburg, loved everything about this hotel .

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at this lovely historic hotel on Kaigasse, a very walkable location in the Old Town near historic sites, restaurants and shops. Delicious self-serve breakfast in a beautiful dining room with an array of choices including made to order coffee…the best cappuccino we had during our 2 week Austrian trip. But it was the gracious and helpful staff that made all the difference. Cheerful greetings as we entered and left along with advice when we had questions. A staff member ran after us with umbrellas after he noticed we were trying to walk to dinner in the pouring rain. That says it all! Our heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Hotel Wolf for making us feel so welcome at your beautiful hotel.

The best hotel in Aldstadt Saltzburg. We had such a wonderful experience. The staff was excellent. They made recommendations on what to do and see. Breakfasts were sensational and fresh. Strategically located to get to anything in old town.

We loved our stay. The Christmas decorations around the door and inside the lobby and breakfast room were so welcoming each time we came in. It was a nice touch to offer the umbrellas, though we did not opt to use them. You did a wonderful job on the renovation. Not being familiar with Salzburg, it was a bit unnerving driving in and learning where to park. The day we arrived was a very busy day in the old town and the local parking garage was very full, but it worked! The bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the new pillows which was a treat we had not enjoyed in the other places we stayed. The breakfast buffet was beautiful, generous and delicious. The convenience of staying right in the Altstadt was very much appreciated. We hope to stay with you again and will certainly recommend your property to our traveling friends. We spent three nights at the Wolf and consider it a tiny gem of a hotel in this amazing city. We had chosen it for it's location in the older and historic district of the city, which is divided by the Salzach river that flows through the city. Many of the larger, and more popular hotels are located on the opposite side of the river. In the warren of twisting and changing streets and lanes of this area, the hotel is located only a few metres from Mozartplatz and the tourist office. In a hotel built in medieval times, the entire interior is full of curious rooms, stairs, doors and spaces. It is has been restored into a very nice, comfortable and accommodating hotel. The rooms are all different shapes due to the building itself but our room was perfect with enough space for three nights easily. We were located on the third floor, but the elevator is very handy. We had breakfast included and it is served in a beautiful breakfast room on the main level that looks out to the street. There is a large selection of delicious breakfast foods that cater to all tastes. Delicious coffee is offered to begin. Probably the best part of this family run hotel with it's extensive history is the staff. From George at the front desk to the breakfast staff, to those that prepare the rooms each day all are extremely helpful, happy and deighted to accomodate your wishes. Even though there many restaurants close by to the hotel don't be afraid to ask the staff for recommendations. The city is amazing with the fortress towering over the historic area, many beautiful museums and places of interest, every square seems to have a different market during the week and the shopping is extensive. The Salzburg Museum across the street gives visitors a better sense of the long and curious history of this city. We realized after that we could have spent at least a week here to fully explore the city and surrounding areas. Either way, it is a excellent choice, good value and well located. Perfect find. This was a beautiful welcoming cosy hotel. We only stayed one night but would have been very happy to stay for longer. The room was small but had everything in it with a lovely shower. The bed was really comfortable and we got a great night's sleep. Our breakfast next morning was delicious with gorgeous fresh fruit, crispy rolls and a lovely cold buffet. Most of all we loved the lady who looked after us. She made sure we had everything we needed and yet left us to enjoy our breakfast. Finally we loved 'Donna' who was so well behaved and mindful of her mistress ❤️ ♥️

The bed and room were very comfortable the staff very friendly and the hotel is beautiful and charming the breakfast room is full of character and the food is great the hotel is situated in the old town very close to the shopping district
