Villas Kalimba

Villas Kalimba is a little piece of heaven within heaven that is Samara. Small, well managed property with the nicest people truly living for hospitality. Matteo and the rest of the crew made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Everything was 10 out of 10.

Loved our stay at Villas Kalimba, perfect location to the beach and the town is easy to navigate. The villa we had was adorable and we spent much of our time on the covered patio. The pool was refreshing and the bar and restaurant provided delicious food and drinks. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. If we come to Samara again we will definitely stay at Villas Kalimba!

We loved our stay at Villas Kalimba! The property is beautiful and lush, and our villa was well equipped with a full kitchen, two full bedrooms and full bathrooms. Perfect for our family of four! It was just a short walk to the beach, supermarket and everything within town was less than a 10 minute walk. The staff was friendly and helpful! They even lent us beach toys for our kids. We would highly recommend Villas Kalimba!

Thank you Villas Kalimba for another fabulous vacation our 9th stay they say location is everything but the we loved our comfortable 1 bedroom villa soo spacious clean beautifully renovated bathroom was amazing we look forward to next year. Kalimba made sure we had best kayak snorkel trip and offer so much more of Samaras best activities we loved our daily ocean walk/swim villa is so close you can hear the waves. Delicious breakfast lunch and dinner at Kalimba Restaurant beautifully located poolside so much so visitors say they want to return. 1st rate staff and services Thank you all

4.5. Our family had a wonderful holiday at Villas Kalimba in Samara! We are a family of 5 (three teens) so we rented Villa Sandy. It was beautiful, clean and cool. Our girls loved the pool and the “aesthetics” of our villa. The only drawback was how far we were from the beach. I assumed that all the villas were part of the same compound- but they aren’t. Samara Rocks, which is a remote compound with 3 villas, is about a mile away from the Villas Kalimba compound. And the road between the compounds was pretty busy and had no shoulder, so we couldn’t walk or bike safely. A car was necessity, which we had. The folks at Villas Kalimba were so kind and friendly. They let us park in the Kalimba lot (across the street from beach) every day for our beach time. And after the beach, we’d spend an hour or two at the pool/ restaurant/ bar area which is also really nice and has amazing drinks & food! We will be back, but when we return it will be to the main compound.

Hands down VILLA KALIMBA is the BEST place to stay if you are vacationing in Samara. It was recommended to us by friends and family and we were not disappointed. The setting and the service at Villa Kalimba was so much so that my husband said "it was the best vacation we have had in 30 years". It is a tropical "boutique" hotel with villas surrounding a gorgeous pool and private restaurant. It had the best food we ate the entire week. Our experience felt very much like we were at a private country club. The front desk staff (Carolina, DIego, Laura. and Rachel) went out of their way to help you with anything you need. The chef is unbelievable (try their ceviche!) and bartender (Javier) is a true professional. We had our Xmas Eve dinner there and it was beautifully lit with live entertainment and we noted there were many "regulars" who chose this restaurant for this occasion. I kept waiting for them to make one tiny mistake but they never did. This is a first class organization. You won't be disappointed. Also, it is in the best location in town. Right across the road from the beach on a quiet road with small grocery store right next door. Everything else you need is a 5 minute walk. Enjoy!!!!
