Hotel Grand Caribe

My husband and I stayed only one night, and it was totally gross! We arrived at the hotel at 8 pm and immediately went out to grab food, so I didn't check the bed directly. At first, it looks a decent hotel room on the top floor, and the hotel looked clean. When we prepared to sleep, I removed the blanket and there was a folded napkin and stained sheet! The sheets were clearly never changed after the previous guests but they just made the bed! The person from reception didn't even say 'sorry'. We requested new sheets and my husband and I changed the sheet, and even the new ones were full of yellowish stains. (We stayed in even cheaper hotels in Providencia and San Andres the following week, and they had always clean white sheets without stains, so it is not the island's water quality, etc but the hotel's fault) In the morning, one of the maids apologized (and forgot to give us our breakfast and we waited 40 minutes extra) but she tried to convince me that the napkin was stuck on a clean sheet after washing. (you can see the photos attached) The napkin was obviously dry and fluffy, so water never touched it and the bed sheet was full of stains. So, I don't know, if it was a one-time mistake or if they never bother to change the sheets for one-night guests, either way, it is gross!

Excelente hotel, súper limpio y acogedor muy buena atención del personal tanto en la recepción como las damas del restaurant y aseo son muy amables y atentas excelente ubicación volvería muchas veces más el menú de los desayunos variados. Recomendado al 100
