This is one of those hotels where everything was think, prepared and adjust twice. Everything was possible and everything was 10/10! I was so impressed with the food in the hotel restaurant that I’ve decided to stay 3 more days just to enjoy this place and the amazing food ! Just loved it! The only thing I didn’t enjoyed it so much was the massage. The massage lady stopped 10 minutes before time and the massage overall experience wasn’t at the best. But beside that, the staff, the room, the cleanest was at the top quality and I definitely recommend this place!

We stayed for 6 nights, at the Post Hotel, to go skiing. It was divine. The hotel has been decorated in a contemporary manner, with lovely touches of antiques and alpine flair. The room (suite) was spacious and beautifully decorated. The Wellness centre has everything you need and never feels crowded. As for the food.....delicious! The half board menu was always 7 courses with choices. The wine menu has a good selection of local, Italian and international wines. The hotel position, in the centre of San Candido, is ideal to explore the sights and shops. The Baranci ski slope is not more than a 10 minutes walk away, but there is also a ski bus stop just outside the hotel. In addition the hotel's own ski bus can take you to the larger Monte Elmo ski area in about 10 minutes. The stay was so good, we are planning a return stay next year.

Location was fantastic in the heart of the old town which was very pretty and charming with lots of restaurant options and shops within walking distance. For snow sports enthusiast, do note that you will need a car to get to the bigger slopes although there is a smaller one within 800meters from the hotel. The staff and service were more professional than friendly, although the manageress at the reception was particularly helpful and friendly. The hotel has modern amenities and rooms are clean and functional albeit a bit small for more than 400 euros per night. The breakfast spread was very good with various egg and other ala carte options that you can order. What we also liked was the ample seating in the lounge areas which were very stylish and comfortable. We were most impressed with the spa facilities which were very well designed and luxurious. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at the Post Hotel.

This hotel is a truly fantastic place to stay. It exudes excellence at all levels. Everything is high quality, and the staff are very, very good; so friendly, so welcoming, and so professional. Our room was extremely well-appointed, with quality features and furnishings. The food at breakfast was first-rate, providing a wide choice, with all items well-prepared and of high quality. The Post Hotel is a sublime place to stay. Well done to the team at the hotel.

Fantastic experience! Got in late due to an airline issue, about 1100 PM. Had a full dinner available for us. Entire dining room staff was fantqstic! Jean Luke and the entire staff were there to assist with whatever was needed. During the week, we also had a champagne toast to the chef, where we saw the kitchen and met the chef and his crew. Again, nothing short of fantastic. Our group had breakfast and dinner daily. I don't think we could have found this quality of food anywhere else in town. Front desk crew couldn't have been better. Always ready to assist with anything that was needed, and provided helpful suggestions. Pool was great, Sauna and resting areas were exceptional! Maids were plesant and very accomodating! Gabriel at the bar was delightful! Try the Hot Chocolate with Rum. It was a work of Art! Can't say enough about this place. The owner/family made us feel at home, and truely cared about our experience there. Would highly recommend! Will absolutely go back. Also VERY conveinent to skiing. A short walk to one hill, and a shuttle from the hotel to another. (Public bus stop also on the corner!) A true GEM!

We travel a lot and we have stayed in many great places around Europe, but this hotel was definitely the best! Originally we booked only four nights, but we extended our stay for almost two weeks. The family running the property is extremely friendly and professional and all employees were amazing. Always in good mood, always warm smile in their faces. Hotel has a great location, skiing lift in 5 minutes walk. We stayed in two different suites, both of them very cozy, clean, nicely decorated, perfect room temperature and absolutely quiet! Excellent breakfast with many choices to pick, eggs prepared as you wish and coffee or teas as well. Very nice few corses dinner as well. The pool and spa are very well designed, very peaceful and relaxing. We definitely enjoyed our stay and we are planning another one soon. Just stayed here for 2 nights. Stay here if you can, it’s amazing! The food is fantastic, rooms spacious, spa relaxing and location perfect. Staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome, in particular Greta in the restaurant was wonderful with and Adriana who was great with fixing our room. Lastly the 7-8 course dinners were unreal. I am GF and they did an incredible job to offer delicious GF meals.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Post. Can’t say enough about the staff and their attentiveness and competency. They went above and beyond in all elements of our stay. I look forward to returning to the Post.

I want to give the Post Hotel no stars- because I want to make sure there will always be a room ready for my and my fiancee anytime we want to go! The Post Hotel is everything we wanted for our stay in San Candido-- and more. The hotel is clean, modern, inviting, centrally located, charming, quiet, and very comfortable. The staff are equally as welcoming, charming, friendly, and will do anything to make your stay perfect. One of the staff members noticed we arrived late on our first night and although the kitchen was "closed", they arranged to get us a hot meal- without us even saying/asking anything! THAT is service! The parking was perfect for keeping our car safe and snow-free during our stay. It was very easy to go in and out of the parking structure and we never had an issue finding a good spot. It was worth the extra few euros. The food at Post Hotel is spectacular. The morning spread is more than enough to sustain you for your following daily activities. The dinner service is delicious, surprising, and gourmet. While we usually like to explore and try new places to eat- we could not help but eat at the hotel multiple times during our stay. It was just too good and they rotate their menu each night. We loved having a designated table just for us for each meal- no need for reservations! The wellness area is relaxing, rejuvenating, and a great way to unwind after a full day of activities. Everything is clean and very well taken care of. The towels are always stacked high and the spa refreshments are always full. We spent quite a bit of time in the wellness area. The spa services are also great. I had two different massages and a customized facial during our stay. Again, everything was clean, modern, and the spa services were world class. I would highly recommend added this to your list of to-dos for your stay at Post Hotel. The room was large, accommodating, and had a great view of the mountains. The bed was large and comfortable as were the sheets and pillows. While we didn't spend much time there, the porch was lovely and if it were warmer, we would have spent more time out there. The tub was HUGE. The shower is also very large (unlike a lot of other hotels in Italy). The water temperature and pressure was perfect. My favorite parts of the room: the heated bathroom floor and towel rack. It's easy to warm up, and dry out after a long day of skiing with that touch. We will definitely be back- perhaps in summer next time- to explore some hiking in the area. We loved our stay at Post Hotel.
