My boyfriend and I loved staying at this hotel. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Loved that this location does not require a deposit and is available to book 24/7.

I was very impressed with this hotel. My room was totally clean, modern, quiet and everything worked well. It was a perfect stay. To be fair, this It is a budget no-frills hotel and I reviewed it with this in mind. You can't compare this to a Hilton, Marriott or Hyatt. There is no breakfast - just coffee in the tiny ”lobby”. The towels are thin and few. The beds are a mattress on a slab of painted wood (no box spring). The sheets are very basic. There are exterior entrances. There is no pool. This is all what I expect from a simple budget hotel. The most important thing and very pleasant surprise to me was that my room was so clean and in perfect condition. It had been recently remodeled and was bright and pleasant. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is very close the highway but my room was very quiet. I wauld gladly stay here again.

Maybe it's just this location, yet this facility is NOT what the chain it advertises, that is clean, spacious, comfortable long stay accommodations . I am a military member moving with a family. This location was recommended by the local base on their list of temporarily lodging. It seemed decent on the reviews and the price was reasonable. We are coming from overseas and at the time we checked in, we had just arrived and were tired and jet lagged. As soon as I entered, we were greeted by a dark, dingy lobby area which is extended to all the passageways. This location is pet friendly, which I have no issue with as a pet lover myself yet the musty smell of animals was pervasive which means cleaning is not kept up with. Knowing what I know now, I should have left, yet again, we were tired and just wanted to rest. Well, the room was not much bigger than a regular hotel room which again, is not the impression that you get by the website. The 4 of us felt cramped and after just a few minutes in the room, our feet were all blackened, indicating that this room was not clean. My wife and I felt compelled to go to a local store and bought cleaning gear. She spent about 2 hours cleaning the entire room which was filthy. It was during this time, that we noticed the hot water was not working in the room at all! We asked the clerk about it and another pro-tip to know is that there is not a maintenance person on site. After forgetting to come up the first time (I had to go down and remind him after about 45 min), he was able to get the bathroom hot water running yet we were without hot water at the sink in kitchenette. Pro-tip #2: There are no dishes, utensils, or pots/pans in the kitchenette. Who does this? After reviewing the website, it looks like you can check them out from the front, yet we were not told that on check in. Final straw was the computer device limit. I've never heard of this in any hotel, yet apparently, you can only have 5 devices max per room unless you do a $2.00 a day upgrade. My kids are older and just starting college and I'm about to start a new job, and its 2021 so we all have at least two devices. This is obviously a nickel and dime money grab and a pretty lousy practice, which to me represents how this whole chain is run. When we awoke the next day after an uncomfortable sleep, we realized there was no way we could stay and so we contacted customer service. They were helpful and we were able to get our money back. This still put us in a very tight bind as we had planned to stay there a month and now had to scramble to find other accommodations and pack up, move and drag all of our luggage. I have let the base know they should not be recommending this place to anyone.

入住前台小姐姐服务很好，经常脸带微笑😊环境卫生都好，房大，早餐多样，好吃。搞卫生的阿姨态度一般，我住的房间设施下水道口小，洗澡水留得好慢好慢，一边洗澡一边满浴缸是水。然后马桶也睹了，后来换了一个房，也是下水道口小，浴缸走水慢啊，睹水啊。换房还是从二楼换五楼，还坏了一个电梯

Very clean hotel and central location. I wanted to give a shout out to Housekeeping Services as our bathroom was sparking clean and anytime we made a request for xtra towels or supplies they were literally there in minutes with whatever we needed. The coffee and water station in the lobby was always stocked and the eating areas were always wiped down. Albania was working in the mornings during the week we were there in the kitchen/breakfast area. She was always smiling, made sure everything was replenished and wiped down, and asked each morning whether anyone needed anything before closing the breakfast station down. She takes a lot of pride in her job. Also wanted to give a positive shout out to Rieanne and Deandre for being extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful.

I haven't read the negative reviews for this place, but my experience during both of my stays here was very positive. My rooms were well maintained and spotless. People at the front desk were friendly and helpful. I never heard my neighbors. The refrigerator was fairly large. The location is easy to get to just off the 805 freeway... reaching the Zoo, Balboa Park and Central San Diego is easy down the 805 and the 163 freeways. I don't remember my bed being so soft during my first stay. When I sat on the edge this time, I sank down quite a ways. If I slept on my back, I think I would have a backache (I sleep on my side, so I was okay).

One of the nicest Best Westerns in San Diego and a lot has to do with the staff. They’ll go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
