Since San Francisco is known as one of the most expensive city in USA, I didn't expect that much with The Barnes. Though, staffs were really friendly and the room was kinda big but the bathroom was small. I spent four nights with The Barnes, I don't like from this place is water pressure is so low. It was hard for me to take a shower.

We had a good time. This hotel locate downtown. We can acsess subway,bus,cable car easily.

Friendly staff, good value for money hotel in okay location but generally San Francisco is not great or overly safe feeling. Nearby parking is very expensive approx $44 per night, once you leave the parking you have to give you ticket and pay again.

Great location at the heart of Union Square. Hotel a little dated but front desk was great.

Location is great, 10min walking distance to BART. Nearby has a lot of food choices & shopping too. Room is small though.

Stayed here for 2 nights for a friends trip. Good location in a nice neighbourhood. Not too far from main attractions. There’s no free parking, but a walking distance parking garage is available. Hotel is clean and staff are helpful!

Small boutique hotel but near downtown. Room is clean. The only downside no drop off lobby as the alley is cordoned off.

Very good location in the central shopping area. The room looked the same, but the building itself has the old carpet smell everywhere in the corridors.

The location is perfect for business trip and personal trip as well. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room is clean. Great place recommended to stay.

On the description it says the hotel opened in 2023, but it was actually an another hotel with another name before. It doesn't look new at all, it is rather in poor condition and outdated, only bathroom seem to have been partially remodeled. Aircondition doesn't work properly, and is very loud when heating up the room. Looks shabby inside too. Room was cold at night and doesn't get the desired set temperature. No a 4 star hotel, more like 3 stars. Service was good though and friendly receptionist.
