The property is beautiful. We loved our balcony, But our room, 208, had an issue with mold or dust mites or both. The oder was obnoxious. We spent as little time as possible in the room. Amenities need a lot of improvement; bedding was stained and ratty.

Great historic hotel near the beach. Room was great and bed was comfortable. Pool was unique and warm. Only problem is parking, very limited street parking.

Small hotel charm, just steps from the Condado beach. Gorgeous stone hot tub in a secure courtyard. Most comfortable bed we slept on in Puerto Rico. We would come back again.

The area was safe. I felt safe walking, I've been to Cabo, Mexico where I did not feel as safe. The area was quiet aside from our neighbors from the room next door who fought all night, every night our entire stay. One night around midnight I opened our door and yelled "Shut up" which yielded us a quiet night - at least one night out of the stay was quiet. Uber is available and affordable so don't bother with a car since they really don't have on site parking and charge for a lot off site. The staff was amazing - friendly and accommodating. Would stay again for the beach view, distance to the beach and the walkable neighborhood. Don't miss Bebo's(Manuel is the best) or Molini's(David is fabulous). I only gave 3 stars because the furniture in our room has seen some better days with some drawers not functioning and bleach stains on the duster on the bedding. Yes, you have to walk to the corner at their other hotel for coffee but it's not far and I enjoyed my mornings walking and getting coffee. We will return.

The hotel was beautifully & uniquely decorated & furnished. The things I liked most were that the beach was just a few steps away, & there was a large heated pool that was open until 10 PM. It was more like a hot tub, but was much larger than most hot tubs. It was delightful. The staff was helpful & friendly. Joann, Betsy & Eddie were helpful with providing dining options & other tips to get around. Eddie was particularly sweet.The area was a beautiful neighborhood where we felt totally safe walking around ,& the only drawback was that you had to find your own parking on the street. We actually found a great one very close by, but were afraid to give it up, so we took Ubers to Old San Juan & it was very cheap. The only other thing was that our TV was broken , but we didn’t care about that very much. Overall, it was a great place & we would return.

The property advertised parking at the property but is a lied, they don’t offer parking you have to park on the street (Good luck finding a parking spot nearby) they don’t have a fridge,microwave or a coffee maker on the rooms and the cleaning personnel don’t do a great job cleaning the Rooms. Worse hotel I ever stayed.

My luggage and belongings were stolen from the lobby where I was instructed to leave them. The staff is very unprofessional or comforting as I later learned most of them they are ex criminals who have recently been let out of jail. Felt very unsafe, and seemed like some sort of scam between the hotel and the staff to steal tourists things. would never go back or recommend to anyone. worst place.
