Hotel Mesra Haiwan Peliharaan di San Luis Obispo

When Southwest Airlines cancelled our flight, we drove up to San Francisco and stopped at the Best Western Plus Royal Oak. What a pleasant surprise! The hotel was modern, clean and inviting. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Despite its convenient location near US 101, it was quiet. The Best Western Plus Royal Oak also serves an above average breakfast and their staff was great. Moral to the story: The next time Southwest cancels your flight to the Bay Area, you should stay at the Best Western Plus Royal Oak in San Luis Obispo.

I was traveling through here on business and was extremely tired and ended up pulling off into SLO for gas at around 8p and just decided to look for a place to rest up. I noticed the reviews at this location were not bad for the price range. I didn’t want to hunt around and just with a whim booked it. When I showed up the staff was super friendly, parking ample, the room clean as it could be, hot shower, little table and chairs along with a desk, cool view of a little 🏔 mountain (hill) and I was able to open the windows in the bathroom above the shower and in front and create a rather awesome cross breeze. I removed the comforter and top sheet and used my own pillows and blanket. I didnt like what was there. It was so comfortable that i laid down and within an hour I was fast asleep. Slept perfectly through the night. When I checked out, the staff was so friendly (couldn’t get over it..rare these days), left smilin. Great over all experience.

This hotel is clean, convenient, and great for families. Although breakfast is not included with Courtyards, the food we ordered and paid for was delicious and we were pleased with. The pool is also well kept and clean. We will definitely be returning!

We are a family of 5 who stayed here for a night! It was a good stop over while travelling between SF and LA. The room was clean and no frills. There’s one shared toilet with a dressing area with a small mini bar area. There’s also 20% off for the Denny’s next door too. It’s also near to iHOP, Ralph’s and other restaurants. I would recommend!

This is a great place to stay in a beautiful city...I loved the view from all of our rooms. The employees were very friendly and my room was very clean. I used housekeeping just one day (you need to let the front desk know) and my room was freshened up very well. I will always use this hotel for further stays in SLO. I would like for them to have trays for folks to carry breakfast back to their rooms...it was hard to juggle everything!

Front service was good. The room that I stayed, AC was nice and cool except it had very loud noice all night ,so we cannot sleep very well. Bathroom had a lot of dust in the corner of the bathroom. Beds and pillows were comfy. Overall for me, it’s ok to stay except AC sound in my room that was very loud.

酒店就在市中心，位置方便，就是剛到前台辦理入住的時候，酒店需要再收一筆稅費，但是在攜程預定時確實是已經全部付清房費，不過為了儘早入住，還是按照酒店要求付了錢，隨後和攜程聯繫，隔天就收到攜程回復，答應退回相應的稅費，當天攜程退費就到賬了，所以雖有不順，但很及時溝通和解決，特別是攜程的網絡電話溝通選項，對於身在境外，不方便接電話的客人，還是非常重要的一種及時有效的溝通方式。

My husband & I checked in to our “upgraded room” we paid extra for. Upon arrival we had to walk behind the pool through a dark shadowy area where groups of people who didn’t seem to be staying at the hotel were huddled together both in the back parking structure & by the pool doing some sort of drugs. Once we arrived in our room, on the ground floor to the far left we walked out after less than 5 minutes. The white bedding & mattress had bloody needle marks poked all over the left side of the bed & the rest of the bedding was covered in various stains & small bugs. The bathroom was filled with bugs (mainly in shower), & there were various stains on both the walls, towels, & bath mat. I felt extremely unsafe & was willing to drive hours home rather than sleep in a bed covered in bloody needle holes, stains & bugs. My husband went & spoke to the staff working that night & he seemed unsurprised at the rooms state but offered the option to move us to a “cheaper” room instead. We decided to check it out as it was already very late at night at this point. This room was just as unsanitary unfortunately. However, the bed seemed clean which was my main concern at this point. There were urine stains on the wall & carpet, what I’m assuming were blood stains on the towels & bath mat. A half used roll of toilet paper on the wall, & the ceiling was cracked & falling apart in many places. We ended up roughing it for the night & left the following morning. We will unfortunately never be staying here again, it’s a shame it has gone so far downhill. This hotel used to be a nice place to stay. It is an absolute health & safety violation, stay at your own risk. (These photos are from the second room we downgraded to & ended up staying in, I did not take photos of the first room).
