Ulasan Grand Muthu Golf Plaza Hotel & Spa

Big rooms, comfy bed. Nice big pool area. Average food, average drinks, quiet area. I witnessed the night security man pushing guests and been very aggresive towards some guests on an evening. I spoke to reception who were not at all interested in this which alarmed me as they thought it was ok, which it was definitely not ok. A few of the all inclusive options not open yet. Entertainment staff excellent. Reception staff not helpful. No sign of any management on the floor. I could not recomend this hotel based on my experience.

Me gustó el cuarto ya que tiene bañera y ducha, hay cocina, el servicio, y la piscina, pero lo malo es que el gimnasio abre muy tarde, el spa también, y no hay información sobre el bufet y restaurante como para uno organizarse, todo hay que preguntar en recepción, también deberían tener agua para beber en la habitación.. es muy importante!

L'ambiance de cet honnête reste familial. Simple mais convivial. Comme ds tous hôtel il y a des points positifs et d'autres négatifs. Les points positifs : - à 10 minutes de l'aéroport, - à 15 minutes des plages touristiques playa Los Americas ou celle des Christinos, et de l'ambiance "vacances" des villes comme Costa Adeje, - pas mal de places pr se garer aux alentours (attention : parking de l'hôtel 7€) - soirées à thème chaque soir, en mode "camping paradis", - les cocktails du barman : top et large choix. Prix raisonnables. - La taille des chambres, spacieuses et pratiques pour une famille. - Le personnel de la réception, sympa et arrangeant. L'un des réceptionniste maîtrisait un peu le français ce qui a été un plus mais les autres, dont Javier, sont très sympas. - La piscine : non chauffée certe mais on s'y fait vite une fois dedans et elle est suffisamment grande, je trouve... Peu profondes 1,40m au max, appréciable des familles. Juste un bémol, les gens incivilisés laissent traîner leurs mégots ds les jardinières, ce qui est dommage. Les points négatifs, oui il y en a qd même un peu 🙄. - Peu d'excursions Nature autour de l'hôtel... - La déco est très soignée et jolie dans l'entrée, les patios, l'espace piscine mais fait qd même un peu "vieillot" entre autre ds les chambres et la salle de resto. - La salle de spectacle est sympa avec pleins de photos de stars mais les couleurs "chaudes, façon ibériques" la rende "Vintage". - Les frais en plus ne sont pas donnés (30€/nuit/chambre pr le changement de chambre que nous avions demandé et 10€/pers pr le ptit déj.) Je ne sais pas pr le reste... - Autre désagrément : les odeurs nauséabondes à certains moments de la journée entrez autre le soir... Et là dessus, malheureusement, l'hôtel n'y peut rien car je pense que ça vient du golf situé à proximité ou bien d'un truc qui ressemble à une station d'épuration. Alors, ça ne dure pas toute la journée ou nuit... ou alors mon nez c'est habitué mais c'est qd même dommage pr l'hôtel. Et dérangeant pr les résidents. - Manque de prise à côté du lit. Lampe de chevet, 1 prise donc pas possible de charger son téléphone portable la nuit. - Les avions qui passent la journée mais cela n'est pas dérangeant la nuit car au max à 23h, il n'y a plus de traffic donc la nuit, reste reposante qd même.

Shockingly bad hotel room was awful Complaints ignored by hotel staff I notified the company I booked through and the complaints procedure is still going now as the hotel denies everything. Booked self catering only to be told on arrival it would be €32 for the key to open the kitchen door ! Room was in a terrible state inc blood on bathroom wall. WiFi didn’t reach my room ! The reception area looks amazing. That’s where it ends

Stayed here for 5 days all inclusive with my boyfriend and it’s such a lovely hotel, the rooms were more like apartments very big with air con fitted which was a life saver, the hotel staff were so accommodating and very friendly, it was my boyfriends birthday one of the days and they came to our room with little chocolates and a bottle of wine, there is a very good selection of food and drinks through out the day. There is a little cafe for coffee and sandwiches too in the reception area. The pool area had lots of space and there was entertainment such as aqua Zumba to take part in. Cannot fault this hotel at all would recommend to anyone and would stay here again had a lovely time.

The sign outside suggests 5 star and its marketed in the UK as 4 star but I personally think it's a very good 3 star. Firstly the beds are definitely 4 star, they are the most comfortable we have experienced outside the US. We only had breakfast so can't comment on the other meals but the breakfast was nice enough. Plenty of choice. It's the 1st time we have stayed in Golf del sur and we wanted something quiet but its too quiet even for us, there is literally nothing here. House keeping is a bit hit and miss (took us 3 trips to reception to get toilet rolls). That said the room is very clean, maybe a little on the tired side but nice enough. Didn't watch entertainment as we went out to watch Euros every night so can't comment on that. For the price we paid we are 100% satisfied with the hotel.

Rooms are incredibly spacious and clean, serviced every other day (yes dated furniture but not sure how that relates to being an issue). All inclusive is good, not great but could always find something to eat. Breakfast and lunch were better than dinner. Plenty of meat, pasta, pizza, salad etc. the dining room is bright and spacious and never felt ‘canteen’ like. The specialty restaurants were not available during our stay unfortunately. Cocktails included are poor but spirits fine and it’s Amstel beer. Drinks for AI are from 11-11 and you are permitted as many as you like, one person just can’t go up and ask for 8 beers! Which is understandable. The pool area is wonderful, large, plenty of beds, no one on top of each other. The entertainment team play music which is nice but not overbearing. It has a very nice chilled family vibe. There is a shop and 2 supermarkets very near by (2 minute walk) and 3 lovely pubs, 2 of which offer entertainment. Turn left when you leave the hotel. San Blas is also only a €5 taxi ride away. Although probably a 3* hotel I would say the place is 5* regarding value for money. We couldn’t fault anything for the money we paid. Staff are all great, welcoming faces, remembering you and your drinks, saying good morning etc. etc. we had a slight issue with the pool area one day which was handled professionally and discreetly. I would suggest more staff presence around the pool during the day to avoid some of the disturbance we faced but that may happen more during peak times. Entertainment wasn’t for us but the space was nice for drinks before we went out. I would definitely return :)

Booked this at short notice, had an absolutely fantastic deal 5 days all inclusive arr 08/06/24. After a short taxi ride from the airport, we arrived at the hotel, reception staff we so friendly and welcoming from the moment we entered the establishment. Check in was easy, and within minutes we’re in our room ( which was on lower ground level) though very spacious it was close to the children’s club, we had both come for a complete relax so decided to ask for a room upgrade. €15 P/night and we were upgraded to a huge suite with a fantastic view, two bedroom, two bathroom …..more than big enough for us, full kitchen and a huge balcony. Now to the all inclusive, food, we could not fault in way what so ever so Breakfast: Fresh honeycomb and the most delicious honey you will ever taste, pastries, coissants, cheeses, and a good selection of cooked breakfast items. Plus an omelette station making delicious omelettes. Lunch and dinner: Chicken, Beef and Pork always available on the Teppanyaki cooked to perfection and delicious Tuna steaks. Alongside this a great selection of salads, pasta dishes, canarian potatoes, vegetables and Pizzas. Drinks in the Piano bar and pool bar were of a good standard too👍 An added bonus was Cakes n Bakes in the Foyer of the hotel serving speciality coffees, delicious rolls,pastries and cakes( part of your all inclusive) open from 10:00-18:00. There is nothing the staff in this hotel will not do to ensure you have a fantastic stay here, my wife and I have both travelled well all over the world and this hotel really delivered!! No queuing for Sunbeds, plenty of availability and a lovely relaxed vibe around the pool area. We have booked to return Christmas Eve 2024. The golf courses in this area are also an added bonus and are only a stones throw away from the hotel. Phil & Lisa Cadman

The common area was great, pool area, food and Staff was really good. Rooms were so shabby I was surprised. Does not seem they have done any upgrading since the hotel was built. And there was a bit of an odour.. just very faint, and got used to it. Planenoise I did not get used to.. had to wear earplugs at night to sleep. It's really loud! Not even changing or fixing leaking tap in shower or bath... The all inclusive was not all inclusive, was 2 drinks in the bar in the evening. For me it was not a problem since I'm not drinking.. but thought it was worth mentioning. Also on the webpage they said it was different restaurants and barbeque, italian food etc.. seems it's really just for 2 months a year.

Hi everyone another fantastic holiday it this super Hotel in Tenerife what an amazing time we had always something to do through out the day. Entertainment around the pool all organised by Miguel and Graziano the dynamic duo for instance Stretching, Pool aerobics, Pool volley ball, Water polo, Darts, Petanque, Sjoelbak (Dutch game) similar to our shuffle board,Cocktail game, Pool, Badminton etc, obviously not all on the same day but you will find the programme for that day in Reception, and down by the Restaurant. Miguel and Graziano you will also find in the M & M bar which is located on the ground floor right opposite the Restaurant evening times , you will have Miguel with Daniela and their GTS show which is a tribute show including such famous stars as Sonny and Cher, Cindy Lauper, Boy George Tina Turner, Elton John and many more also Miguel has got his own solo show music from the 60, 70, 80 'what a real star he is and Graziano with his Reggae show, many more delights await you evening times through out the week, Magicians, Fusion belly dancing act a beautiful show full of colour and movement and new act called Les Divas 2 young ladies who perform many tricks with Hola hops, swords, daggers juggling drums on their feet and pièce de rèsistance walking on broken glass bottles all the shows offer you great entertainment not to be missed A must are the different Restaurants you have the main Restaurant which is Buffet style the cuisine is tremendous something for everyone from an extensive Salad bar with Cheeses, Fish and Cooked meats to left you have Fish,Meat cooked in sauces and Vegetable area also, at the back you will find a grill area where you can choose to have Fish or Meat cooked the way you like it. You now two new food areas to try the Spice garden which is attached to the main Restaurant but is accessed by separate door on the right as you proceed towards the pool area, this opens Mondays, Wednesday and Friday, Great, Great food, Mondays is Indian Cuisine, Wednesday is Mexican and Fridays is Italian, make sure you go there hungry because there is lots off it and the flavours are superb. The other food area is the Barbecue which is located outside adjacent to the Pool bar all undercover did not have chance to try this but spoke to several people who had and they said it was beautiful. And now in the Reception area you have a Coffee bar where you can if you so wish indulge in some beautiful Patisserie, Coffee and soft drinks and also in Reception you will find Nana's boutique beautiful outfits for the Ladies also jewellery and on Sundays Nana has a fashion show around the pool. Reception is a very important part of the Hotel the first port of call should you need any help, Maintenance and Housekeeping they all do grand job keeping us informed, safe, clean and tidy.WELL DONE ALL AT GOLF PLAZA FOR GIVING US ONCE AGAIN A FANTASTIC HOLIDAY SEE YOU ALL SOON
