This was by far the best hotel experience of my life. The St. Regis is the embodiment of luxury and in Astana it is extremely good value for money in a majestic city that is truly a hidden gem. The staff are caring, hospitable and cheerful, always going above and beyond for your needs. The breakfast merged variety with the best quality I've ever experienced in a hotel ever. The room... My goodness was the room luxurious and stunning for their most basic one. Without a doubt, if you are coming to Astana, which you should, The St. Regis is the place to stay.

I’m surprised to find such high end hotel in Kazakhstan. It was a pleasant stay.

Amazing hotel

Usually better. Left the number with the reservations department. Waited for a call for over 30 minutes. Finally got through on the 5th try. There was no welcome note or compliment in the room. No one offered drinks until I called an hour later. There were no disposable razors. The room has some drawbacks. Of the easily fixable ones, this is the rolled-up sofa, which looks terrible, and the carpets are stained. Of the hard-to-fix ones, this is the water pressure in the sink and the faucets themselves. The water flows very far from the person, close to the sink, and this is very inconvenient. It is not entirely clear why there are no toilet brushes. Yes, thanks for the service. But when you are relaxing with a girl, you cannot clean up the unpredictable lines inside the toilet. This can cause awkward situations. No hooks in the toilet. You come in in a robe and cannot take it off and relax. You can only leave it in the bathroom itself. It would be nice to add some sofas to the elevator waiting area. Having pork on the breakfast menu in a country with a predominantly Muslim religion seems very strange.

Excellent hotel with a great location. Beautiful room with a good interior. Breakfasts are excellent: red caviar, prosecco on weekends and holidays. But there is one thing.... the staff is trained in complex-polite speech patterns and this seems to be good, but they do it for the most part, not sincerely and it shows! Behind the external entourage, during the stay, the staff's unwillingness to perform their duties properly is evident. During the three days of stay, the room was not vacuumed even once! When on the third day they did not even wash the glasses, I was forced to call the manager and point out the garbage on the floor and dirty dishes in the room, and demand that they clean it immediately! They cleaned, replaced the glasses with "clean" ones... in lipstick! Apparently they changed them from the neighboring room... Upon closer inspection, there are also traces of lipstick on the mugs! We call the manager again.. And no apologies to you, except for complex regrets that THIS happened to US! But THIS happened to them, not to us! The hotel claims a high level of service - the local staff neutralizes all the efforts of foreign managers. When leaving, you did not hear any kind words, except for a dry "goodbye".

The service and room were beyond expectations, very good, and the layout was very comfortable. The breakfast was also very rich, and the swimming experience in the morning was very good. However, the faucet of the bathtub was broken in the evening, and two technicians came up to repair it for half a day but could not fix it. This was the only minus point.

I'll be honest, at first it was a masterpiece impression..., But!! Then came the sobering up... Service)) Service with local flavor!! I won't list everything... Just two stories: 1) My wife signed up for an expensive procedure with the SPA one day in advance... since we were in Astana for 3 days and wanted to do everything, the schedule was clearly scheduled. When she showed up at the appointed time in the salon, she heard that the procedure would not be performed, since there were no products for it, and most importantly, there had not been any before )))) Should I call? Warn her ))) 2) We were getting ready to leave the room... the doorbell rang... my wife went to open it. A guy from the staff came to check the minibar. My wife told him that she was not ready to let him in now, but he stubbornly tried to get through, insisting that he urgently needed to check the bar! They practically closed the door by force ))))) At the same time, we have to give credit to the hotel, they checked us in an hour earlier, and we checked out 2 hours later. In general, who wants to check into a respectable branded hotel, but with strict local service... Go ahead... but don't be surprised later)
