Today is my seventh and last day staying at Casa Solcor, and every one of those days has been delightful. The space is comfortable, the bedrooms spacious, and everything open to nature. Casa Solcor is near enough to town for a leisurely walk, but far enough that nighttime music and festivities won’t disturb your sleep. Most of all I thank the warm and responsive staff for keeping my girlfriend and me happy and cared for. Special thanks to Wilson for helping me arrange the trip and manage minor crises. Very good value is Casa Solcor!

This is a small boutique hotel (20 rooms) about a 15 mins walk from the town centre. The staff are extremely friendly, and super efficient. Karla deserves a special mention. The rooms are not large, but well organised. 2 small plunge pools, jacuzzi, and breakfast / living / chill areas are on the property. They offer assistance via WhatsApp, which is super helpful. The laundry service (free) is very convenient as many travel from the neighbouring dusty regions. In terms of improvements, I would consider: 1/ adding a restaurant for lunch / dinner 2/ providing a few more hot breakfast options 3/ having a spa / massage facility - although staff will recommend mobile masseuse 4/ WiFi is patchy - improve this These improvements would make the overall experience far richer and better value for money. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and we would like to thank all, in particular Karla.

Casa Solcor is a very well-run, beautiful hotel in Atacama. The staff were very helpful, helping us plan our four days in Atacama and buy tickets for attractions in and around San Pedro de Atacama. They were also always available with good tips. The rooms are well equipped and the hotel is very beautiful and romantic. I would recommend it 100%.

Like most hotels and hostels in San Pedro it is located in a dusty street with a single door in an Adobe brick wall. Not encouraging. What lays beyond is a small oasis. Our room was a deluxe with a small private garden area, a good size room spotlessly clean, comfortable well furnished. No tea or coffee in room, this is always available in the dining room. No tv, which we never miss when travelling but nor fridge either although one was available for all in the kitchen. Breakfast was buffet, the usual juice, tea or coffee, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, cold meats, cheese and breads. The garden was the oasis, a pleasant seating area outside the dining area with coffee tables and chairs and plenty of sunbeds around the pool to relax with any downtime. This is the desert though, it is cold at night, which means pool dips were really cold but undoubtedly refreshing!

A magnificent haven of peace and calm, close to the center of San Pedro. The decoration is beautiful and in line with the style of the region. Beautiful room, quiet and clean. Excellent breakfast. The staff is kind and available. The hospitality director is very friendly and does everything possible to make your stay as pleasant as possible. A big thank you for this fabulous stay.

I can only recommend this place. We travelled with a 9 month old baby, which is not the easiest task in a place like San Pedro, but everybody in Casa Solcor was extremely accommodating and kind to help us make our stay as comfortable as possible. The place is beautifully decorated, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is really nice. All what you need really. Yes, it’s a bit outside the Main Street (caracoles) but that was actually perfect for us, since it can get quite noisy and busy in the center of the town. The distance was not a problem for us. I just want to thank everybody in the staff of Casa Solcor for making us feel so welcome and for giving one of the best service we have experienced. We will definitely be back in the future!

We love staying at this place. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. They also had fresh pastries and baguettes every morning for breakfast for us which were delicious. The rooms were clean and spacious. During Valentine’s Day, the staff prepare a special package for us which included champagne, chocolates, and fresh fruit. They really go the extra mile to make us feel special.

Our family of 4 adults stayed here for 5 days. All the staff were really helpful, the location is quiet, the garden space is lovely and having shared kitchens was great. We enjoyed using the mountain bikes and the BBQ and the company of our fellow guests in a shared home frkm home

Pros - Exceptional service, feels like home. Jeanette at the front desk bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable. Great breakfast (Francisco brings in fresh baguettes and makes eggs), there are always snacks available and the hotel will open a bottle of wine for you if you want and there is beer. Cons - there really is only one, it is a little far from the center of town. Takes about 15 mins
