Stay here and you won’t regret it. The owner is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. You can contact him anytime with WhatsApp for any assistance. The property is small and very cute. We even got a free room upgrade because someone wanted to stay longer.
The only thing I would mention is the neighbours dog barks a lot at night while they’re out and in the morning sometimes. The neighbour also collects bottles to recycle so that was quite loud outside the window in the mornings. There was also a strange “bathroom” smell at night that filled the room, but didn’t come from our room. Couldn’t figure out why or where it came from. Overall still very pleased with our experience and all the pros outweighs the tiny cons. The property is lovely and in a great location with complementary bikes to use for the day.

The hotel is really nice, located in the city center, sea front. The owner is nice and helpful, there are complementary bikes and some coffe and tea in the morning for the guests. Rooms are clean and they also provide towels for the swimming pool! Very nice atmosphere! The only thing that wasn’t good were the mattresses, both not very comfy in our room.

Loved our group stay here at Ambergris Sunset! Owner was friendly, kind, understanding, and helpful. Location was super convenient and easy. Some minor problems such as a toilet leak/flood, but overall am satisfied with our stay

Mike is a great host, full of recommendations. The restaurant on site had great food and very reasonable. We loved sitting by the pool to cool off and relax.

For the price we paid everyhting was great. The host is very friendly and helpful. My kids loved the little pool, every evening afeter the beach they would soak in the pool again. We only foudn the beds a bit uncomfortable though.

Excellent Value Stay! We will be coming back here again thats a promise. Super Friendly Staff and very affordable. They helped us arrange transportation and were spot on with the best restaurants to go to. This place is in a great location with a Grocery Store 1 block away and 1 of our favorite Restaurants right across the street.

We stayed here for ten days during July/Lobster Fest. It is convenient to all things, has a pool, restaurant & bar, and on the back street away from the noise. There is easy, safe parking for golf carts. The owner and staff are super friendly. It is a great, **budget-friendly** accommodation!

Family operated, mom cooks wonderful, daughter runs the service, dad smiles a lot, all a delight. Home feel to stay, very friendly and relaxed. Basic accommodations but very clean, everything one needs, close to older part of town. Come here to enjoy the friendly side of Belize.

Nice property with food service and assistance to book tours. I stayed in an economy room and it was priced right. The room was clean, air conditioned and hot water. The staff are friendly polite and helpful. The food was excellent. It g has a small pool which is quite refreshing.
