Sant'Elmo Beach Hotel

Delicious food. Wonderful beach. Very friendly staff. Family room with spacious terrace. Great price to quality ratio. The only of drawback is the need for car, since there are no any attractions in the neighberhood.

We stayed for a week at this lovely hotel, where we chose to indulge ourselves with the gold package. As other reviews have mentioned, the staff at this beach hotel are very polite and accommodating, from the reception staff to the bar and restaurant staff. So is the gold package worth the not inconsiderable extra for a family of four? Well, I would say that eating at the Belvedere restaurant was a definite privilege, much calmer and more elegant than the restaurant downstairs, with lovely views to the sea. The restaurant staff were very professional. A few of them didn’t speak any English but this wasn’t an issue as we tried our best with our Italian and asked for the menus in Italian and English so we could compare the two and then ask in Italian. The gold package also gave us front row on the beach. The o oh problem was that they had beach activities in the morning and they put the big speaker right in from t of our sun beds. So we ended up spending mornings at the pool and afternoon at the beach when the activities had finished, since our daughter is autistic and she didn’t like the noise. The beach is glorious, but you have to walk for about 5 or 10 minutes across what feels like the desert to reach it. The gold service also boasts at “room set-up” but I’m at a loss to explain what this is, save for bathrobes and slippers, which didn’t fit my feet! When we got him I looked at the brochure and noticed that included in the gold package is a welcome drink and a gift. We didn’t get either of these. So on discovering this I must admit I felt a bit short-changed. I still wonder what the free gift might have been. So all in all it’s difficult to say whether the gold package is worth the extra money because a few of the things listed in the package we didn’t receive. Also it is worth beating I. Mind that the hotel is quite isolated, but there is a small but decent supermarket about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, as well as a pizzeria, which we did go to one night for a change. The hotel also does excursions to various places in the south of the island, including Cagliari and Villasimius. On the whole I would recommend Sant’Elmo beach hotel and I would visit again. It’s a very pleasant place to spend a week doing nothing but eating and going to the beach. However, I can’t help feeling slightly cheated by the gold service, which didn’t entirely deliver what was promised.

Beautiful beach, nice hotel but the animation is a real disaster ! Overall the animation is really bad. The DJ is the worst I have ever seen ! At night the atmosphere is completely dead. The animation on the beach is also pathetic, worst then camping!

Positive: 1. Employees are very friendly. 2. Bech Club have many Program. 3. Very Nice beach 4. AC is good Negative: 1. Food is below the average. 2. Building are old. Toilet is very loud……. 3. Surroundings are okay. But every night, the night club boring shows are so cloud, can not go to sleep before 10pm. Better not choose the rooms around swimming pool when you have small kid. BTW, everyone have to pay the night show, charge you when you check in.

The service was super friendly and food was great. The beach is also lovely and we did not mind the 5 minute walk as the nature was beautiful . The hotel also offers evening entraining in Italian as most guests are locals; We had a duplex family room which was excellent for our kids but might not be ideal for people with small children as the stairs were quite steep. The room and bath were clean but a bit old school - could need a make over / modernization. If you are planning to leave the venue and discover other spots, book a car directly at the airport. It’s nearly impossible to book cars in the region (during high season) and it was impossible to find taxis to go to costa rei or other towns for dinner , etc.

The hotel is old, not renovated for a long time. The rooms are dirty and shabby. The children's beds are located directly under the air conditioner. The hotel needs a massive renovation. As you can see in the pictures, the children's beds are dirty and disgusting. The front desk staff is not willing to help with changing rooms Hotel jest stary, dawno nie remontowany. Pokoje są brudne i odrapane. Łóżka dla dzieci znajdują się bezpośrednio pod klimatyzacja. Hotel wymaga gruntownego remontu. Ja widać na zdjęciach łóżka dla dzieci są brudne i odrażające. Obsługa w recepcji nie jest chętna do pomocy w sprawie zamiany pokojów.

Very nice holiday, the food is amazing, the rooms very spacious even though the cleaning can be better. The fitness lady Valentina very good teacher, super funny and professional at the same time. Valerio the head of the entertainment always organise the events very well. The food is so good and well present, that you can’t say no to anything. Manuela and the staff at the beach very helpful and accommodating . I highly recommend this place

Struttura vintage ma piacevole , mare incantevole , camere pulite ma degne dei migliori anni oramai passati della costiera romagnola , personale cortese , La cosa che propio non è andata giù … e x quanto riguarda le bibite , o meglio l’acqua … a pagamento anche a pranzo e cena , è a dir poco vergognoso .. siamo stati l’anno scorso (sempre fine agosto) in un struttura a 2 km + avanti e con gli stessi soldi posso assicurare che il livello è stato nettamente superiore . Sant’Elmo Non lo Consiglierei …assolutamente non vale la pena . Dimenticavo un consiglio … mettere in cantiere che x raggiungere il mare dovete dare circa un km nel deserto a 40° sotto al sole , manco una navetta come San tutti

Sono stati otto giorni meravigliosi.. sarei rimasta ancora se avessi potuto!! La struttura e’ bella e curata, con dei bei giardini fioriti e tenuti molto in ordine. La cucina è ottima , ogni giorno potevamo assaggiare qualcosa di diverso, personale gentilissimo ! Vale la stessa cosa per la reception e per il bar vicino alla piazzetta dell’ hotel dove alla sera ci sedevamo per bere qualcosa dopo cena e dopo gli spettacoli serali delle 22. Un particolare GRAZIE va al gruppo dell’animazione , a partire dal capo villaggio , simpaticissimo e sempre pronto per qualsiasi esigenza , e tutto il resto del gruppo che ci ha fatto sorridere sempre e in ogni momento. Mio figlio di 13 anni non ha mai lasciato gli amici e con Graziana e Alessia, le animatrici che seguivano i ragazzi della sua età, ha passato giornate molto divertenti. Noi facevamo spesso belle passeggiate per vedere le calette vicino organizzate da Giaggio, simpatico, allegro e bravissimo attore. Le serate erano poi speciali grazie al cast artistico composto da ballerine , cantanti e un altro bravissimo attore , anche lui Giacomo !! Grazie per aver reso speciale la nostra vacanza
